A strong performance by John Waite and his band, which included a set that covered his repertoire of hits, and fan favorites quite well. I was blown away on how good John's voice still sounds at 72 y/o. He hit all the notes, and sounded every bit, as good as he did 40 years ago! Not many singers from that era of the 70's and 80's have retained so much mojo!
What a phenomenal performance!!! It was really worth going to, if you missed it, hope u can go next year.
Ingala is soooooo talented. Rebecca Jade, Dave Koz, Jonathan Butler and Adam Hawley...what a group to see and hear!!!
The BEST Dave Koz Christmas show since I began attending 15 years ago. Truly outstanding! Why? The songs were almost all Christmas songs unlike last year where it was more of the artists’ songs.
Jonathan Butler’s O Holy Night is a classic that brings tears to my eyes. His sharing of his love for Jesus is beautiful.
Vincent Ingala and Adam Hawley as the next generation of artists were a nice add to the show.
Venue is pretty great! Had a second row center seat which was quite spectacular!
For 89 years of age...Johnny is pretty darn amazing. Obviously the voice is not what it was 20,30 years ago, but damn how many are? How many are actually still performing at 89!! What I noticed that especially touched me was the "twinkle" in his eyes. Literally a twinkle that one gets from so thoroughly enjoying ones chosen career. He LOVES what he is doing. And the audience LOVES him back. I honestly don't know how much longer he can do this. But as a person who, as a child, walked into my grandparents home during the holidays and heard the sounds of Nat King Cole, Andy Williams, Bing Crosby...AND Johnny Mathis, this was quite a treat. Brought back so many memories. I'm glad I took the time.
I have seen Jake live 9 times and every show is awesome. If you have never seen him go to you tube and see some videos, then you will purchase tickets for a live show, you won’t be disappointed.
Rick Springfield and his longtime friend, Richard Marx, were amazing together. It's a guitar-lovers show made greater by their warm, welcoming, and funny personalities. Marx is especially hilarious, and the musical bond between these two consummate pros is a treat to experience. The songs are world-class. They stimulate and satisfy. And they'd probably have a funny payoff for a line like that!
Great show, I even shed a few tears hearing the old songs and seeing old footage. A.J. put his personal flair to the songs, accompanied by an outstanding band and singers (including a special guest...don't want to spoil things).
Upon googling info about A.J., who was just a toddler when Jim died, to his personal adversity and successes, he has led an amazing life, and it shows in his performance.
I went to the Cerritos venue. It was beautiful, even the "cheapest" seats had a great view. Excellent acoustics. More importantly, easy to get to and plenty of free parking nearby.
AJ was great. Great music, nice mix of old and new. Images were so nice accompanying the music. Also, he has a great sense of humor and the stories complemented the tribute to his father and many other wonderful performers who he knewas well as his orignal works. Bravo!!
Magnificent, fun, left us wanting more, as always. Jake, your being available to meet and thank you after the show is always one of our favorite parts of being at the show. Thank you for your brilliance as an entertainer and your humanity as a person!! Aloha!!
I saw Pablo Cruise when I was a student at Chico State in 1975 and 1976. Seeing them at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts brought me back to those days. Although the crowd was smaller they continue to play great music & my wife and I thourghily enjoyed the concert. I hope to see them again someday.
Jim Messina & band were amazing! Brought me back with some favorites! Some minor tech. issues, but on track quickly.
The video at the beginning of Pablo Cruise was a bit distracting, but once they got rolling it was all good to the last note! Great finish!
One of the best shows I have seen! Jumaane is top notch trumpeter and vocalist. So much talent, and his band is next level great. The music was powerful and delicate, played with such finesse that I got goose bumps! I laughed. I cried. And I’m so happy I got to see Jumaane live. Venue was incredible- a great experience. See him play live, anywhere. You won’t be disappointed.
I can't even tell You how much I enjoyed myself. I actually went alone. I'll definitely be attending more jazz / events/concerts alone in the future. I love that Dave has so many different fans of all ages, races, etc. Dave Koz is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! ☆☆☆☆☆💯
Fabulous!! All the talent was superb. I was definitely impressed by the young man’s performance . He’s going places. Thanks to the mentorship of both Mr. Butler and Mr. Coz. Excellence in the making. My first in person seeing Mr. Butler. I’ve wanted to see him in person for years and now I have🤗. Thank you!!!!💕💕
All-4-One was AWESOME! These guys are the real deal- vocals were soooo good and what great artists! And funny! Thank you for playing my favorite venue in Cerritos!! A perfect night with many, many happy fans. It was SOLD OUT!!
98 Degrees was AMAZING!! A fantastic show at my favorite venue! The room was vibrating with excitement and the guys did not disappoint. THANK YOU for playing Cerritos… love you guys!!
The Boz Scaggs concert was absolutely fabulous. My husband and I have always been great fans of his music and he certainly delivered. Amazing evening and a very lively and engaged audience. It was uplifting.
small venue but good acoustics. He played well and his voice was same as it was 1976. He allowed his other musicians to play parts of the songs outside of his singing they were excellent He played some his hits: Jojo, Harbor lights, lido, lend me a dime.....3 encores!
An incredible experience in an amazing venue! David and Katherine are pure joy. The love, the banter, and the talent that they bring to the stage is second to none. An awesome show with laughter, tears, and everything in between. Go see this show.
This is always the way to begin the holiday season. The concert was absolutely fabulous, warm, and sparkly. Having David Benoit as a surprise guest was extra tinsel on the tree! Thank you everyone, for sharing your amazing talents!
