Show was awesome. Took a friend from India who had never been to a metal show. He was floored and wants more. Liked the venue's size. Upper deck and my old eyes could still see great detail. BVB put on a great show with great lighting effects and a set list that covered there entire history. They interacted well with the crowd. The first two opening bands were OK. Ashes to New was awesome as well. I would go see another BVB show and same for Ashes to New. The venue was clean (the bathrooms were clean at the end of the show) and staff had it together when it came to getting everyone in and out without issue. Drinks were OK, and I have had much worse concert food.
The show was fantastic in every way !! The acts leading up to the headliner Cannibal Corpse were all excellent. Fulci was tremendous, Full of Hell got the job done and Municipal Waste unfortunately was just that, a waste. The band sounded great but the lead singer was a bit obnoxious and went so far as to actually insult the crowd which I thought was a bit stupid. Outside of that the show rocked and impressively so. Cannibal Corpse' set was of course was super awesome. The guys were in true form and whipped out great songs dominating the venue completely. All in all my girlfriend and I had a blast and will likely never forget the show. I can highly recommend taking in this tour.
Cannibal Corpse are among the very best in metal period. I've been a metal head since 1991. I've seen practically all the big metal bands and I loved the show last night. They are the real deal for sure. They all gave their all on that stage last night for an adoring and moshing crowd. I'm a huge fan and can't wait for Cannibal Corpse to return to San Antonio. By the way, the Aztec Theatre is an awesome and historic venue right up there with the Tobin Center. Thank you.
Amazing show, the openers were amazing, but I think overall terror was the best preformance, along with nails. Terror most definitely had the "craziest" pit, but sadly I did not mosh for them. Crowd could have been better, but that's the San antonio scene for you. I went for nails, and found all performers to be amazing. 🗣‼️
I was influenced by a friend to see this band I had never heard of, now I’m glad I went. I’ve been listening to their hilarious lyrics ever since. Great performance and their entertainment between songs left an impression to forever last. Can’t wait to see them again - come back to SATX soon, I’ll bring more friends.
The show itself was Awesome! This venue is just too crowded with minimal parking options. Plus the VIP seating area was just plain outrageous! $100.00-$ 120.00 per person. Now this doesn’t include any food, or drinks. The VIP cost was more than the Gen. admission tickets. Also please offer something other than SODA for those that don’t drink. Who wants to pay for canned water at $ 6 to $ 7 dollars.
Hate to just complain but I call it like I see it. Laters!
It was a phenomenal experience. The performers were electric, the show was longer than other Michael Jackson tribute shows (more show for your money). If there was one thing I would change it would be to make sure and have merchandise at the event instead of ordering it on line. It takes away from the experience not being able to leave with merchandise from the event that night. That being said I will definitely go see this shoe again when it comes back to town!!!
It was lit aside from the crowd. Lotta people just standing around. This group of white girls were literally coming through everyone to get to the front and yet when the mosh pits started they acted all bitchy like why were people pushing them. Typical posers so nothing really to do about that but other than that the show was dope.
First time on San Antonio, and definitely was a really nice experience compared with CD. MEX.
The organization during the event was magnificent, the place it's so nice.
I enjoyed the opening event made by Kalælan Mikla , never hear about them before, and now I added to my playlist. Very good ambience to get into mood to the big show orquested by VV.
And, definitely, not enough words to describe how incredibly meaningful and awesome was seeing Ville Valo again after 6 years from my very first-last concert with H.I.M. I didn't ended crying, but a tons of beautiful memories of this magical night with their songs now are on my heart until the next time I could see him in the future.
Hoping come back again to SA if VV decide to make other tour on the US.
The show was fabulous. So proud of this group and their accomplishments. Music old and new was breathtaking.
Venue was great. Seats were good. Staff friendly and efficient.
They even took away the full trash can during show.
After, the restroom had hot water, and necessary amenities. I was very impressed.
Would definitely go back again.
Highly recommend.

Legendary artists with an outstanding presence.
After 30 years they sound just like the CD you played on your PS2 while you were supposed to be at school. With odes to the greatest dead legends the Thugs ever recorded with such as Easy E, Tupac Shakur, and the Notorious B.I.G. Bone Thugs & Harmony displayed a wide range of energy (including a bit of tiredness I’ll admit).
Minor technical difficulties but with an abundance of veterans on stage it was easy to cover for one another while they situated the issues. The set was short (1 hour) with the final 15 minutes of Lazie Bone bringing back the opening act. The Cleveland natives tore the f*cking house down while spreading love and relaxing energy alternatively every few songs. I’d never seen the place so crunk. If ya know ya know.
Falling in Reverse did really well, but the venue was way too small for a band like them and Ice Nine Kills. I expect to be shoved around, but it was like the whole floor was a mosh pit because of how small it was. I have multiple bruises and someone jumped on top of me and pushed me to the ground.
the show was so great!! the crowd was amazing and everyone sound super good! but aztec isn’t a very good venue (considering its for actual plays). they made my friend throw away her clear backpack, and another one (of my friends) sharpie so then she couldn’t get anything signed by bands. my friend sierra put together a whole basket of things for parx when she met them at m&g. security wouldn’t let her bring it in for them tho, so she had to give it to them. they said they’d give it to them but they most likely didn’t. so basically aztec isn’t very good with entry i guess you could say, but everything else was great . so yea lol sorry that was long.
Second concert in the last two years, first one in Portland, Maine, 6 stars, as it felt better, closer and more intimate. This one felt more remote, too big venue, and the venue it self might be iconic, but wow next time this we will order seats, as they were really made for the little people, a definitively not us.
