This was our 1st time at the Laurel Theater. It's even smaller and more intimate than we anticipated. John said it was also his 1st time performing there and how many years he'd been wanting to play the Laurel. The show was fun!! John told stories that introduced the songs and dug deep into his past with New Grass Revival. Hearing him vocalize those old songs was a real treat; and the reason we were there. He delivered!! He has such a beautiful voice and plays a great bass guitar!

I love the intimate setting of the Laurel Theater. Obviously many of the attendees are regulars to the Theater. They were very gracious and welcoming to me and my friend. It was my first time at the Laurel Theater in several years but I hope to return soon. Sam is a great singer, writer and story teller. It was a great concert. Thank you !

Such an amazing show and venue!! I love the Montvales and always come to see them, but this was my favorite show yet.
