This was not a Queens concert, but a variety show supporting Josh Homme’s family run charity “The Sweet Stuff”. There were comedians, a magician, various musical guests including Beck, Dave Grohl, The Kills and more. The show was very entertaining and raised $250K for disadvantaged music industry people facing medical crises. The only downside was the line around the block to get in.
The show was amazing of course!! Zakk really lays it down. He gives it his all and puts on quite a performance. I've seen him many times with Ozzy, Black Label and now with Zakk Sabbath. He's very consistent and just slays! Also we like the Belasco Theater quite a lot. It can be a little difficult for folks of a certain age to stand for the whole show so I wish there was a bit more seating. You can pay for a VIP table in the balcony for an additional $120 per person in your group. For me that was a little rich as I had my whole family there. Overall though great show and we will undoubtedly continue to visit the Belasco Theater as we love going to hard rock and metal shows
and it is an absolutely stunning theater with rich history.
Another perk to going there is the Habachi Hana Grill stand right across the street from
the venue !They stay open late for the concert goers and the food is incredible!
This was a good show... however ..... my only criticism is that this being their last show ever. They should have played more of their popular tracks like Tin Omen, and Smothered hope. Smothered hope should not be a song they play every other show. There were filler songs they could have done that with.
A night to remember. Power outage in the area caused a major delay, so we did not get a chance to see the opening act. Not a big deal though. I must say, the staff at the Belasco was super friendly and personable. They invited us to wait out on the patio and rooftop until the power outage was resolved. The only fault I would give them is that they should have considered those who were in the front rows to allow them to go back to where they were before we had to exit. Maybe give them a wristband or have the staff take a picture...something. Besides that, the staff was great. Kasabian came on not long after we were allowed to go back in.
NOW...ABOUT THE SHOW! Great energy! But the sound mixing was off. Sometimes, you could hear the bassist, sometimes, not. Sometimes, the singing was clear, sometimes, it was drowned. Even with the show starting late and no opener, the sound was the worst part of the show. Enough to lose 2 stars.
Very inconsistent sound quality. Not sure if it was the band, or the sound board.
Overall show was fun. From crowd interaction to energy, worth it! Glad I was a part of that evening because who knows when Kasabian will be back in LA!
They were outstanding!! I’ve been hundreds of concerts, and Aqua engaged the audience more than any other band I’ve seen. They were having fun. We were having fun. Everyone was having an awesome time with a ton of energy. I’d recommend every person on the planet to see them live. I flew 1/2 way across the country to see them last night & it was well worth it.
God you reawakened something within me Cristina. I’ve been listening to you sing since I was 13. Seeing you perform at age 30 I wish it had happened so much sooner. Still thinking of it daily. Seeing Apocalypse performed live with you and Andrea is something I will always remember and cherish. <3
We flew with my wife from DC just for this concert. They are that good. They are the most solid band around. Tight as no other act. I appreciate that they play the new album and their classics. Always close to their audience. Vanian was spotless, Captain was brilliant. Monty is a great stage presence. Mr Gray was fantastic and the feel with Will Taylor, the drummer was evident in Motorcycle Man. Still my favorite band.
Mr Vanian, if you read this, not that it matters, but I never winked!
Rock on!!
Edge of Paradise- awesome, they made a new fan!
Blind Channel- so much amazing energy!
The Birthday Massacre- been a fan for 15 years, so glad I got to see them on stage in such an amazing venue. Rocked my world!
Lacuna Coil- been a fan for 20 years, first time seeing them in concert! Left with a huge smile on my melted face. All time favorite band was even better live than I could have imagined.
The Belasco Theater is a really cool venue.
SO SICK. Static X put on an amazing show. Great visuals and set up and Edsel Dope is doing a great job on the vocals. His mask and costume was sick, so was the stage set up. They played a good long set and the tribute to Wayne was beautiful. A++
HONESTLY THE BEST SHOW I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. Her sampling and playing around with sounds were actually so amazing and breathtaking. Love that she presented her avant-garde experimental stuff as well as reggaeton and more dancy stuff. Seeing her DJ was also so special. THE VISUALS WERE ALSO INSANE WITH THE COMBO OF THE SOUNDS AND HER BODHY MOVEMENTS. literally breath taking// life changing experience
Best concert experience in the last 7 years! Venue was spectacular, band was amazing and energetic. Fans were also energetic and for the most part respectful. We loved the "all ages" event idea and feel like that aided, not detracted from the experience. Fitz and the tantrums is the best band that many of our friends have never heard of. We will make it our mission to spread the word in any way we can as they need more love, they are upbeat and positive in both their demeanor and their music.
I LOVED SEEING JOHN MY 2ND TIME AT THE BELASCO THEATER AGAIN EVER SINCE TEENAGE FEVER TOUR! 🥹 THIS KID MAKES ME SO HAPPY SM AND ENJOY THIS PIC I TOOK AT THE SHOW 😍 I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO COME TOA JOHNNY ORLANDO SHOW PLEASE YOU WON’T REGRET YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY! 💯 SO 5/5 STARS BESTIES! 🤩
Awesome show. It was the bass player Misa’s birthday, and the fans brought love, energy, and gifts and the band loved it and returned the love with an awesome performance. They are what they say they are - ‘an impossibly hard rocking maid band’ and per founder Miku, they are set on World Domination. So glad that they did a U. S. tour, and they should be much more well known than they are. Really worth checking them out!
This was a last minute decision to go see Lacuna Coil Live. I'm so glad I went to see them. I wish they were the headliner so we could hear them play longer. Their voices & musicianship are so good. I will definitely go see them again if they come back around. Highly recommend them.
I was super stoked because my friend had an extra ticket and I haven’t see COF since they played the 2nd stage at Ozzfest.. They are so wicked! I loved the energy and vibe. The venue was also very nice by throwing down the a killer light show and the band ONCE HUMAN really surprised me and turned me into a new fan, I’ve never seen them live and was so delighted by their stage performance and presentation, the lead singer is a female Phenomena \m/
Best night of my 18 yrs of life! All the bands were great they pumped up the room and when the one and only ice nine kills played holy crap the whole place was so anxious and ready for them waiting and wanting more and i don’t blame them because i was with them. Also picked up just a little bit of merch 🤷🏻♂️
one of the best concerts ive been to in a long time. not only was the audio in the place spectacular but the bands played amazingly and smwrs even gave a little message to take care of each other and to be more positive. i hope i get to go again next time.
best day of my life. they can make you feel as if the world around you doesn’t exist. it felt as if it’s just you, the music, the band, and best friends having the greatest party of the year. everyone just enjoying themselves. pure joy. happiest day of my life for sure.
I was expecting to see some lip-synching, or at least some moments of so-so live vocals (like 99% of all big artists you see these days)— Noah, on the other hand, was really impressive last night. Her vocals were definitely live, and sung well! Such a natural talent, and now I’m an even bigger fan.
P.S. My boyfriend & Noah almost look slightly angry in the photo, but that wasn’t the case— she was very sweet & friendly, and my boyfriend was stoked. I’d like to get VIP tickets again, just to tell her how impressed I was.
You killed it Noah! XO.
