South Kitchen & Jazz Parlor

The band was so tight and funky and Zeek’s vocals were outstanding . What a great show. You could see that they all loved playing together and were in perfect rhythm.

I just left the South venue where Mike Phillips performed with an amazing group of musicians. Everything about this experience was incredible!!! This venue was beautiful, food was delicious. The atmosphere was so awesome. I arrived early to have dinner in the lounge. Later I was seated in the Jazz Lounge. I caught the last set. The entire staff at South was so friendly and welcoming. The general manager Mike Williams was so attentive and friendly. The hostess staff was very polite and helpful. The Mike Phillips performance was the best part. I have attended many shows over the years. Mike is an absolute beast on the Saxophone. He’s now playing flute and he’s got it together. I can’t wait for the next performance. Please come back to Philadelphia soon… and Connecticut… New York.., More please!!!

What a great show. This was a combined set with Tom Braxton and Michael Fields, Jr. A wonderful combination of original music from the artists and a celebration of the music of Wayman Tisdale. An incredible evening!

The show was fantastic, Blake was charming & exciting.. Tim Donato was electric & funny. Was buddy said that was the best jazz show ever

This was my second time seeing Nicole, SHE NEVER disappoints. Food was good. I had NY strip steak mashed potatoes and asparagus.. asparagus was cooked a little to long for me BUT they cooked some more and they was okay. Collard greens were do have meat in them .. turkey. Cornbread was good but somethings it is a little soggy in the middle if they put to much glaze on it. Customer service is the best London is a greeter she is sweet and helpful. The manager I believe her name was Asia and she was very professional and accommodating to my needs. Our favorite server is Rico but anyone of the servers will be good.

Ragan Whiteside's show was EXCELLENT!. I loved her energy, performance, that she shared her life experience in how she began her journey in music.

Incredibly talented and engaging performer. We saw her in Norfolk, VA late last year and were so impressed we traveled from our home in Tampa, FL to see her in Philadelphia. We were not disappointed. In fact, we are looking forward to the next opportunity to see Kayla in concert!

I was blown away by the performance. I can't believe how good they were. Can't wait to see them again soon. Not to mention the atmosphere, in the restaurant and the food. Will come again thanks!

Phenomenal performance! And it was Victory’s birthday which we didn’t realize. So that was cool as well. Her sound is so rich and pure and has to be heard in person to truly understand what that means!!

The show was as awesome as I expected it to be. I love listening to her voice.

South Jazz club is the perfect place to see an intimate show, they offer many good choices. I was fortunate enough to see my favorite guitar player Mr Chris Standring, play with the Gerald Veasley Band. I shall return to see Mr Veasley again soon! Wow to that performance of classic songs, and some of Chris's creative originals. Chris Standring is in a unique musical place, truly not to be missed, live or on his recordings. Thanks to all responsible for this event! JC

Can’t go wrong with vocals here. The band was tight. The only lament, The stage seemed crowded and the acoustics were somewhat muted.

Good food better music. Trio knocked it out. First time there won't be my last. Much love Gerald Veasley just wish you were back in Reading.

First time seeing Brian Simpson and he was awesome !!!!!! Whenever he is performing near me again I will check him out again with his great saxophonist, drummer and Gerald Veasey on bass guitar. Had a good ole time😄

Lindsey Webster is an Outstanding Artist. She also has a Excellent Band of Musicians. Her Vocal range is across all ranges, She is very Entertaining.
