Top tier Deathgrind from one of the best bands in the genre. 20+ years and they show no sign of slowing or letting their standards drop.
Jason Netherton is back on vocals and hasn't lost a step. As for Adam Jarvis, the man is an absolute machine behind the kit.
Catch them wherever you can. First saw them in 2004, they've never been less than superb
Good event I really liked it, it was really warm because it’s summer but it was so fun and such a good vibe, everyone was really nice, good music good bands, I would recommend seeing them if you get the chance, they were a good tribute to the legends of heavy metal and I would go see them if you get the chance to, especially if you are a fan of black sabbath, i would definitely go and see them next time when they come back, if I get the chance, I even met the lead singer and got a picture with him and I got this picture of the bassist and guitarist on stage, such nice people🤘
Discovered Lacey by seeing they were supporting Broadside whom I'd had tickets for a while to see. Ahead of time I gave Lacey a listen, for how good their songs are I was so surprised there aren't more listeners yet. They were also really good live! Vocals were strong, not like bands you see where they sound nothing like their recorded music. Would definitely see again!
This had to be one of the best shows I've ever seen in all my years of going to gigs. The energy and intensity Blackbraid brought was second to none.
Noctem were absolutely amazing and their set could quite easily have been a headlining set on its own.
Winterfylleth were insanely good and are definitely gonna be seen live by me again!
As for Blackbraid... Holy shitballs they were fanfuckingtastic!! I don't have enough adjectives to do their performance justice, all I can say is if you get the opportunity to see them play, do it!
4 Decades waiting for green jelly & when It happened it was a pastafarian epiphany & probably the best concert I have ever been to & I according to bandsintown? in 2019 went to 63 concert's & a real music fan as I travelled to Galway IE to see a band. If they only knew it's the other way round. It was unbelievably worth leaving the evil dead monastery Galway to see green jelly & I can't wait to see them again but please don't leave it so long next time.
Chris Goss is the godfather of desert rock. No Goss, no Kyuss, No Kyuss no QOTSA, no Desert sessions not to mention all the other pies his fingers are in. It’s been 15 years since Pine / Cross Dover and the subsequent tour dates. Never one to tour massively in the UK (4 dates this time) and with obvious health restrictions the band take stage just after 9pm. Goss sitting throughout the performance he is in great spirits tonight asking how we are then asking “Where the f**k are we?? No wonder the boys from Oasis dress like f****n Eskimo’s” And we’re off with Why the Fly. Next a few songs from the new album are well received (it’s a grower. No obvious standouts but enough colour, melody and interest in each track to hook you in). Then into the back catalog John Brown, Ants in the Kitchen, Rabbit one, Doraldina’s Prophecies, Theme from the scientist of the invisible, The Blue Garden, 100 Years, The great Spelunker, Deep in the hole all classic Masters, all played with aplomb and played at a laconic pace giving them extra weight and gravity. All too soon it’s over, Goss leaving the stage with assistance from the road crew. A musical legend and rocks best kept secret. Absolutely fantastic.
I wasn't following them but after seeing them live I am & can't wait to see them live again. For a support act unbelievably good. Thay make me want to leave the evil dead monastery & visit Deutschland again as it's been to long since my last visit.
Incredible show one of the best ever & the support act was not a band I liked but we're excellent live as well (following them as well now). Worth leaving the evil dead monastery Galway Ireland but it makes me sad I won't be going to Deutschland this year but I will be in Mankchester to see 3 more Deutsch band's this year.
This was one of the best gigs I’ve ever been to, BTM’s performance was incredible, they sound even better live than recorded, Matt got the audience singing along with him. It was such a great atmosphere and so much fun!
Please come back to the uk guys
Such a great night with 3 superb acts !
Heights kicked off the night - amazing vocals & songwriting ! 🤩
Xcerts smashed it 👊🏼,l
Good crowd too but the venue was poor - extremely cold, smelly and the bar was very limited and beer was not nice !
Music - fab !! All 3 bands nailed it ! Venue - poor !
Such an amazing show, a nigh to never forget🎀 the only show I’ve been to that the fans were so respectful, met many new friends. S&S + Cashforgold also stayed behind after to talk to their fans and take photos. Definitely recommend, need to put their ticket prices UP though worth so much more than what I paid🫶🏻
Delirious Delirium to see Gothminister at Rebellion Manchester. An Awesome Otherworldly Band and a deliciously dark and decadent venue.
The last time I saw Gothminister was my first time and I was smitten. That was in 2015 at A Vampires Ball in Whitby. They were the Headline act.
Magical meeting personally with Bjorn after the gig on 6 November 2023 and lauding and congratulating him and his band.
Happiness in Darkness to all as you seek The Light…MM
What an epic gig…. The band were tight… Richard’s Vocals were on point! David is just insane and say no more about the Legend that is Steve Harris… I highly recommend see British Lion… I hope to add to my tally of 6 times soon!
It was amazing what a show I'm so glad I made the 7 hour journey to see Draconian, Swallow the Sun & Shores of Null it was so worth it can't wait for Draconian to come back again because I will deffo be there it was packed out
Omg omg omg first ever concert and I absolutely loved it! Traveled from London to Manchester and seeing Smash Into Pieces was just the best thing ever, the venue was a good size, full of people and I was right up the front singing along with the crowd, it was fantastic and I want to travel to see them again!!
Come back to the UK soon
First time visit for me to the Rebellion. It was a small venue packed with people unanimously eager to welcome Smash Into Pieces for their first headline gig in Manchester. The crowd knew all the lyrics if a great set and needed no encouragement to sing along. It was a great gig. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Thoroughly recommend this group as a fan of their music since hearing one song by them and loving all the following songs. Such great and friendly fellows who were happy to chat and have photos with everyone after the show, thoroughly worth the ticket price! Takk guys!
Early gig so some shuffling dickheads could ramble around the stage with a beer in their mitts supposedly Dee-Jaying after one of the greatest bands on the planet had to finish their set pronto? Beggars belief?! Full house until that point - then Voivod reported that the place stayed empty. Really upsetting for rabid fans like meself would've made a night of it. Brilliant gig though!!!
