Great support from BEX.
tiLLie gave good performances of her songs and was good fun between. Her talking about the context of the songs was interesting, but it did slow down a fairly short set. She seemed to say she's not used to headline shows, but with 10 years of great music she could fit a few more in to an hour.
Really energetic when through her songs but still had a great voice and during the slower sad songs was still giving the crowd great energy to join in.
What a night this was. As a member of Rebel club I can tell you that they are always outstanding in a live setting! This show was no different and seemed to have an extra energy given that it was there first time in Leeds, Leeds, Leeds!!!!
Always good banter and interaction with the crowd, getting them involved. There is something soulful about that connection with the band when in a smaller venue that doesn't really translate in an Arena setting and Scarlet Rebels are masters of honing this ability and harnessing the power of it to target the audience like a cruise missile to the point where you feel like you can touch the electrically charged atmosphere.
From the first note to the last they brought the A game with a visceral abandon that makes you forget the outside world and be in the moment just enjoying the feast for your ears. In that moment you and everyone else in that venue are one single unit, one voice singing the same song and that song is "We are Rebel club, we are loud and we don't care what you think!"
I’ve wanted to see this band for so long but the timing was never right …. until now. To get to see them up close in a small venue was fantastic, an amazing atmosphere. Took me right back to the good old days like the F Club! Palaye Royale deserve to have huge success, they sounded so good. It was great that we were all singing along to the new songs, just shows how addictive they are. I can’t wait to see them again …. maybe a trip to London beckons!
It was surreal!! Palaye Royale are very good at doing crazy electric shows, but also these small acoustic gigs. This show was for promoting their new album "Death or Glory", which is absolutely amazing, you get addicted to it. I was front row, it sounded so good, both the instruments and the amazing vocals that get you through a whole range of feelings. The crowd was so loud singing along to every song, even the new ones that were relseased just 2 days before! One last thing, I came all the way from Romania for this show and it was totally worth it!
Amazing show in a great venue. Support was brilliant. Had my 4 year old and 7 year old with me who loved it. It was my 7 year old second timing seeing them in Leeds. My youngest keeps asking when can we go again!
Amazing show. Been listening to Strung Out for 20 years but never got to see them till now! It was worth the wait. Considering how good Live in a Dive is, it's no surprise they're this good live.
Outstanding show. Something about legendary rock stars in very intimate clubs. Personable, enjoyed himself and gave the pipes a wail. The band were into it and enjoying themselves. Look forward to Greg being back with his other projects soon
Went to support one of the support bands and was blown away by the amount of talent that was on show. Acetate were fab, The North were brilliant and gravy were simply amazing for how young they were. Those lads have serious potential. Great venue great people great bands. What an amazing night!
Great performance of one of the greatest guitarists in his genre! Unfortunately, sound quality wasn't the best at the venue. Too much treble at the voice mics and slightly too loud.
Very good gig, sound was very good, sold out, but didn't feel crowded. Fantastic crowd engagement. Venue staff were friendly and the tickets were value good value for money.
The support band eevah were great they really got the audience going then the main attraction Dea Matrona came on stage they really rocked the place the girls had so much energy it was amazing how they kept it up for the full set unfortunately the mix was a little bit off with the drums drowning out some of the vocals but it’s fair to say no one really cared it ws a high energy very polished show from start to finish
RØRY kicked up a storm from the off and everyone sang along to almost all tracks. If you get the opportunity to catch her live do it, she and the band were awesome from beginning to end!!
Her new track has been out less than a week and everyone sang it to her, it was emotional!
As ever Landmvrks were absolutely stonking. the love they have for their fans really shows .shame the venue was a little smaller than the last time I saw them but that’s life. Get the sound tech to sort out the vocals and bring it forward a bit and it’d rate in my top 10 !
Can’t wait to see them again.
Outstanding! One of the best shows of the year. This band's performance and energy is off the scale, why they aren't playing stadiums I don't know. Sold out show supported by North Atlas (also an excellent band) to celebrate the release of the new EP. Played some of the new and some of the old, each one a mini masterpiece. If you're stumbling across this review, please look them up and stream or check out their website. They're just so creative and a lovely group of humans too. Stayed around chatting afterwards, having pictures taken with fans and signing stuff. Absolutely on fire!
Absolutely fantastic! Have followed this band for several years now and their gigs are without doubt, the best ever! To have a band so down to earth, so appreciative of their fans and able to joke with their fans, is amazing and makes you feel valued.
The songs are amazing, the vibe is off the chart, and the talent is incredible! Antony and Edan are probably the nicest guys you could ever hope to meet (I always love the ‘play off’, and Chris and Logan are also majorly talented (the guitar and drums are something else!).
Always a guaranteed amazing night and stellar performances! Thanks guys!! 🤟🔥🤟
Absolutely amazing show - they knocked it out of the park! After the initial delay from the February I was more than hyped and they didn't disappoint.
Really great support bands too (THVRNES, Heartsink & Tribeless)
Can’t fault the band, show and energy was awesome. Venue organisation and the sound was pretty poor. It took 40 minutes to flip the stage for the headliners, and the mix meant you could hardly hear the singers at all - especially the support.
The show itself was awesome however and band definitely know how to keep a crowd engaged :)
This was my first time seeing Ice Nine Kills live and they didn’t disappoint. Creepy, theatrical, hardcore, high energy. They know how to put on a show! The Key Club is a great venue for intimate gigs - hot and sweaty, but I would love to see these guys with a little more stage space to see how they can really bring out the blood and gore, SlasherFest.
I've wanted to see SayWeCanFly live since I was around 13 so to finally see this astonishing performance was a dream come true, completely underrated and absolutely beautiful!! 10/10 would recommend this tear jerking show 💙
