Static X was amazing. I have listened to them since I was 10 years old. My son is 10 now, and it is his favorite band. The show was very engaging, theatrical and fun. It was incredibly nostalgic and surreal for us to meet them after the show. The band is very kind, humble, and willing to stay for hours to make their fans feel special.
Another point I would like to make is that the staff of The Ritz is very attentive and takes care of the crowd very well. I really appreciated that having my son with me. Thank you all! And thank you Dope and Static X!
AMAZING! This was literally the best concert I’ve went to (granted, I’ve only been to 3). But seriously, the atmosphere was lively and surreal; I could feel the ground bumping as the music burst from the amps. The opened, model/actriz was quite interesting, a bit strange for a Panchiko opener, but I genuinely enjoyed their sound; the lead singer even went out into the audience twice and really pumped majority of the crowd up. Panchiko was awesome, no doubt. The live synthesizers and static vocals tied certain songs together perfectly, the live instrumentals were finely crafted music to my ears, and all of Panchiko’s energy was on point (especially Andy!!). This was a concert for my birthday and it was the best birthday gift ever. PLEASE COME BACK TO NC, PANCHIKO
Devin put on a spectacular show!! I was impressed by how wide a range of songs he played; he was pulling from all cross his discography, from his different projects over the years. I was kinda hoping he’d play more off the new album, though.
TesseracT was really cool, too! I hadn’t really listened to them before. Loved all the crazy rhythms in their songs.
Venue was pretty cool, I liked the layout of it. The one thing I’d say is that the merch area felt unnecessarily hectic for how small of a venue it is.
Fontaines put on a great show - played more than 20 songs. Doubt there will be many more opportunities to see them in a venue that only seats 2000 people. Lots of guitar - very rock and roll! All the ones you've heard plus some others I need to hear more of.
Jadu Heart was a nice surprise opening up also. Lots of range with strong female and male vocals. More guitar and the heaviest base I think I've ever heard.
Firstly I would like to say Thank you to The Amity Affliction for offering meet and greets through Sound Rink, the ticket prices the meet and greet pricing was reasonable. The Venue The Ritz is such a great small venue for a more intimate show. Staff there is great not overly aggressive for security not overly friendly if that makes sense. I think the staffing is perfection there, the right people are in the right places. The show itself was worth coming back each year, you hear that guys the US and Raleigh want you back every year!!! Please and Thank you.. The energy that The Amity Affliction brings they say the audience amps them but really I think the charge goes back and forth. They are so loving and crowd loyal as a band you can tell they genuine care about the fans that follow them. The meet and greet was run so smooth and great I love it guys. Taking the time for pictures random small talk, a few signatures. Okay take cash even though the venue is cashless, merch stands have exclusive cash items. Great Show
The venue was awesome. The opener was amazing and the main event, Phantogram, was a 10/10 performance. Combining strong stage presence, an awesome set list, and an absolutely brilliant uae of colors a d light for effects, this was a concert I will remember for the rest if my life.
Thank you to the venue and the bands for making this possible.
lucky daye, i live near raleigh NC and algorithm is my favorite album EVER. the only thing that sucks is i didnt know it was my favorite album until AFTER you came to raleigh, and i wish i wouldve listened to it sooner, because i wouldve bought front row tickets to your show in a heartbeat. please re-open the algorithm tour and come back to raleigh 🙏. (or release another album, that works too)

Fu Manchu themselves were GREAT! ... but they only played maybe, what, five or six songs?
Was that all they were ALLOWED to play?
That was a huge bummer and I realize that maybe that's all the time they were given but, wow that sucked.
I saw on their Facebook page that they had to cancel a show a few days earlier due to sickness, so maybe someone was still sick? Scott seemed like maybe he didn't feel good but still put on a great show in that short time.
Our Last Night was beyond great. Very engaging with the audience and genuinly seemed to be enjoying theirselves. Drove from Virginia Beach to see them at The Ritz in Raleigh, NC (im originally from there and knew the venue was a small place which makes the experience more enjoyable and intimate. Show was all ages and there were kids as elementary school in there singing along and dancing.
Amazingly satisfying clean act.
OLN are one of the few bands that sound exactly as their recordings. Clean, clear vocals and spot on music. They ROCK!!
Rocked it!
Me and a buddy went to check out Polyphia at the Ritz and it was an amazing show. DOMi and JD BECK were the opening group and they were awesome.
Being on the standing floor was good. The venue handed out complimentary waters for anyone who needed them.
Overall a really good experience from the venue and the groups that played.
Outside the venue, they did scan tickets and provide wrist bands before doors opened to allow a quicker entry. Only drawback was if a bag was too large, you’d have to take it back to your vehicle, so make sure to travel lightly.
I love that we finally got to see our favorite artist in my hometown! Such an incredible experience! I wish I could go multiple times! The stage design and lighting was amazing! We are so blown away by the perfect combination of music and visuals. Everything was just so well done! We are still buzzing today from how wonderful the experience was to finally see Seven Lions live!! We have been fans for more than a decade, so this was so special for us! 💖
Russell was good, but he did not come on until 9 PM. Spent 2 hours packed in shoulder to shoulder waiting since concert start was advertised as 7 PM. Opening act was awful. Some hillbilly from WV doing karaoke rapping. Not even country. Come on RD, add some class to your tour. Get a good country opening act. So many out there. Not sure why you also play up the redneck persona so much. Tank top tee shirt and trucker ball cap was lame concert attire.
Didn’t get to enjoy the show for as long as I wanted, around the end of the 3rd song, found out my wife got injured from one of the crowd surfers, we ended up leaving quite early for the emergency room, she had to get stitches on her face. Just glad the both of us made it out alive. I hope you guys Sum 41 come back soon, but we’ll likely be on the 2nd level next time!!
Great concert - it was amazing to see Johnnyswim back on Tour, after so long, to include a COVID matter that postponed a number of shows last week. They always come fully prepared to engage their fans and put on the best show. You always feel like they're preforming just for you, as they invite the fans to sing along and they talk to us and express such gratitude for us showing up. I traveled 5 hours to see this concert, since they aren't coming to the DC area for this Tour, and it was well worth the travel.
Absolutely. Amazing. I was honored to spend such a magical evening and create lifelong memories with two of the most important people ever to me in my life. Throughout the night I experienced was a swell of emotions from all. Laughter. Tears. The music. The bands. The songs. The crowd. Just simply superb. Such a special evening. Will be with me forever! Thank you!
I purchased the vip package and I was so happy with everything!! The boys are really funny and chill. If you get the chance I recommend getting a vip package for their next show/tour. Their sets were crazy amazing (better than studio version of course). They really know how to move a crowd. Ohhh and they did an ENCORE! They played several covers (nirvana, arctic monkeys, and I think vampire weekend if I’m not mistaken...). I would do it all over again!
i had an amazing time seeing wallows with my friend jennie! i honestly couldn’t really see that well and it was pretty crammed which isn’t the bands fault, it was just a bit uncomfortable (no pun intended😉) and i loved that they did a 15 minute encore singing random songs when all we (the audience) were saying was to sing scrawny one more time lol it was seriously the best.
wallows is my favorite band and a lot of their songs perfectly capture my life as a teen and seeing on my 18th birthday was a great time
Disappointed with the sound quality of the band, but really my disappointment lies with Paul Banks vocals. Muttering, muffled, indiscernible at times. Ive read how his vocal stylings seem to be ever evolving due to age and smoking, but it’s like they over modulated the instruments to drown him out. I’ve been to shows at the Ritz before and I know it’s not their sound system or the venue. Everyone I spoke with that went to the show had a similar response. Many left early. And don’t get me started about the opening act...The overwhelming positive responses sparked me to post this.
It was such an awesome show! Great energy. Met San and what a cool guy! So friendly and down to earth, it was such a pleasure to talk to him. The venue was good too, cheap parking, plenty of room to move around on the upper level, huge, clean bathrooms, seriously didn't have to wait in the bathroom on a stall once! Overall, awesome time, great music, cool DJ, enjoyable venue.
