These guys are the real deal. We travel to see them because they’re just so good. This show at the Brightside certainly didn’t disappoint. If you want hard rock from an original band who are obscenely talented, you have it with these guys.
Extra points also because the Brightside is a kick a*s venue!
this was my first proper concert ever and i have to say, it really set the standard. mark’s stage presence filled the whole room w his quiet confidence. the selection of music was curated so well, good contrast between the songs without it being too abrupt. all his fans r cool too
What a great concert - Anika's presence and skill was awesome - and so was her whole band. Great venue too - you can get very close to the stage (very small stage though!).
One of the best gigs my husband & I have been to in a long time, from the venue to the show, it was all a 10/10!
The girls really set the bar for groups/bands with their dance routines & the whole flow of the show, you can see how much effort, time & care they put in to making it a memorable & fun experience. The highlight was definitely when they came out after the show to sign merchandise but they also gave each fan the time to have a chat & get a photo or two as well which is what we LOVE!
The venue was excellent, having the two levels, gave plenty of opportunity to get a good view & having the speakers above instead of right in front of the crowd on the stage was a game changer.
The stuff were also super friendly, they technically closed at 10pm but didn’t rush anyone out when getting photos with the girls after their show & they kept the energy up throughout the whole night.
Definitely going to see the girls when they come & tour again🙌
Beastwars are one of those bands that every time they tour I buy a ticket to see them. Absolutely amazing live show. The heavy slow doomy riffs translate wonderfully from album to stage. If you are into metal, do yourself a favor and buy a ticket, take the ride, bring your friends.
Honestly one of the BEST concerts I've ever experience. MC are just *brilliant* live, the quality of playing, setlist and performance was astounding. While it was a privilege for the audience to see this great, world class band in such an intimate venue, I felt so bad for the guys to be playing to such a small crowd, but they gave us everything and the buzz afterwards was amazing.
He was great, he sang our favourite songs, he was relaxed and great to watch. I loved the venue it was cosy but not too big. Thanks for the opportunity.
The boys were insane. One of my favourite bands whose music means a lot to me and they didn’t disappoint. Absolute vibes, incredible music and so much love in the building. BEST NIGHT EVER ❤️
Performance was sensational.
Venue was trash I mean it was so hot that the band cut the set short and were sweating.
Chrissy and the rest of the band complained about the venue constantly, the body heat was insane. Also all the taller people were at the front making it absurd to see, my girlfriend missed half the show.
Overall, I would love to see these guys again and would put up with the venue. However, most other bands playing at this venue I'd ignore because of how bad it is.
i'd heard that alex lahey put on a phenomenal live show and that was definitely proved correct at this show! front and centre at, had the absolute time of my life and i will most definitely be trying to catch her live again!
Was better than I could’ve imagined!
Cap is truly a rising star, great soulful music and his story from humble beginnings. I’m going to remember meeting the guy and definitely going to his next local show.
Wow what an amazing show!!! High energy southern rock blues with The Sheepdogs magic. They had the joint Rockin from start to finish. Their harmonies reminded me of the Eagles and guitar solos of Allman Brothers. Loved Ryan's digs and grooves. Ewan's soulful voice reminded me of Terry Kath CTA. Ricky's guitar work was killer and Sam's drumming was top notch. Shamus switched between guitar tambourine and piano and played cool solos on vintage keys which took me back to 70s. Next time Shamus bring your trombone please! Thanks so much guys for taking the time to sign my teenage nephew's tshirt. He loved the show and was blown away when you played Whipping Post for encore which he plays in his band Writer's Tongue. You guys are stars and I love that you're humble. Stay true to yourselves and your music. Come back soon. 💫✨💙 Rosie
Great Gable are an awesome band! There’s so much energy and good sound they share with the crowd. Hope they had fun playing for the brissy crowd. I would see them again! Their lives performances are solid-ground dance alongs.
Make them Suffer were amazing! Super tight; hard to believe they hadn't performed in three years. I've never been so exhausted after a gig, it was so intense. The set was pretty much all I hoped for but Blood Moon was my favourite of the night. So glad I got to see them!!!
The front act and the main act was really great! We enjoyed the whole show except for when we’re waiting for BLG after the RJA’s performance and there were some drunk and possibly drugged girls who were not even VIP attendees and boasting that they didn’t have to pay much but they can still push their way into the front. They were very rowdy and was pushing us out of where we’re standing. So disgraceful! Yes I understand that it’s a rock concert but none of the others acted like they did before they decided to crash the front row. Anyway, I still enjoyed the show despite feeling annoyed at those ladies.
Cannot explain how amazing the whole thing was, every band was amazing and held an awesome atmosphere! Also got to meet Joey afterwards and was completely blown away by how nice and humble he is! Shared some stories and thanked him and the band for doing more than they might know with their music. Please come back soon.
The entire gig was great the line-up was stacked and every band played great and FFAA were epic couldn't really asked for more except come back to Australia soon please!
After seeing fit for a king and paledusk at the triffid the weekend before it was good to see the energy of the band still going strong, unfortunately the sound quality at the brightside has still not improved which was a let down.
Epic bands, bad acoustics
