KiMo Theatre

I stumbled, quite accidentally, on the Black Jacket Symphony website. What's this? What is this? Can this be real? I got tickets for "Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon". I have been to every show in Albuquerque since then. They play at The Kimo, an iconic art deco theater. I have been amazed every time by the musical ability they demonstrate. AC/DC Back in Black is one of the all time great albums. I can recall buying it the day it came out and playing it endlessly. Every song is a treasure. BJS did this album more than justice! It was sonically correct in all the elements of AC/DC that made them great. I enjoyed every song and the encore featured one of the songs that always gets me going; "It's a long way to the top if you want to rock and roll" I would say that BJS did just that! Top notch entertainment. Can't wait for "Pink Floyd The Wall"!

Perfect venue for him - such an intimate setting and loved how engaged he was with the audience. not only did we hear great music but got a comedy show as well whether that was his intent or not.

We thoroughly enjoyed the concert. As usual, the musicians and vocalists were fantastic!

Classic Jim Messina. Great music, great musicians, tight band, unique/great Messina guitar playing, all around fantastic show. Unless you just don't like the above combination, you couldn't help but sing along and stomp your feet. Wish Albuquerque would have shown up in higher numbers to support this fantastic artist. Great show!!!

Great show by a group of excellent musicians! Jim is a consummate musician. Will see again!

Amazing! Tommy is a true entertainer. A one-man band. Jerry Douglas was really good also.

Pat was performing by himself that evening. Overall, the show was good . he did a lot of talking in between songs, which made me sleepy at certain points. The last time I saw him perform was with his full band, and that was rocking.

Seen a lot of performers in my 71 yrs on the Mothership, but no guitarist as talented or as special a human being as Pat. All of his music has been part of the soundtrack of my life, and last night was a pinnacle of performance excellence, unmatched By any other musician !!! Benise and his musicians and dancers were amazing! The concert was everything I’d hoped for!

My fourth time seeing Benise perform (the first was in Roswell, NM several years back), and always a spectular show!

I wanted to see Petrucci a long time now but I got to see them with my son ,added bonus the first band not so much although the drummer of Meanstreak was solid a rock band to remember

Love the concert, opener was great and Blue October was a great cry in the dark experience 😄

Awesome show and the Kimo Theatre was gorgeous! Jimmy is the real deal and the Tiltawhirl Band was freaking great. My only complaint is no one was dancing and this texas girl wanted to groive!

He such an amazing performer! I'd recommend anyone see him if they have the chance.

Incredible. So much fun, and so wonderful that ABQ was the first who would chant for their players. We’re dumb, and kind of insane, but we come together well. Loved it so much and can’t wait to see the new format the Game Grumps come up with. Congrats to Arin for beating all our asses too!!
