I'd love to leave an awesome review; however, the endless pop-up ads & the annoying Nike ad that wouldn't go away, move, or let me skip or close it, made it practically impossible for to do so.
Liked Van Andel Aren; the ease of finding & entering it, as well as the layout, the location of our seats, and the quickly moving vendor lines.
The concert was Ah-MAZING! The variety of song styles & choices by Crowder & Toby Mac was wonderful. Loved that Toby even sang some old school DC Talk. Cain was fresh & lively. Ryan Stevens & Terrain were good & are up & coming. Very family friendly.
On point! Every! Single! Time!
5th time seeing him. He is so wonderful and his music touches my soul.
I can never say enough about how wonderful God is and how He uses us to teach others. Brandon was put on that path and he doesn’t disappoint.
And his friendship with the likes of Benjamin William Hastings and Phil Wickham are to be admired. They all inspire a generation of believers who will sing Jesus’ words into existence!
This was my first ever concert and it did not disappoint. I’ve been a fan of Brandon’s music for years and the words he sings has always spoken to me and given me a good connection with God by helping me express so many things. The show was one massive epic worship night that had me filled with Gods presence.
A shoutout to Doe as well because she was amazing to get to listen to and has a heart full of love that she expresses so beautifully.
Falling in Reverse put on a great show, as always!! My experience at the venue was a little odd...no one in my section was standing during the performance (except me), no one in my section was singing along (except me), I felt very awkward and uncomfortable. Even though I felt a tiny bit bad about blocking other people's view by standing in front of them I drove 4 hours through snow/sleet just to see FIR so I was going to enjoy myself. I figured maybe they were all only there to see Disturbed and didn't like FIR but they did the same thing (nothing at all) while Disturbed played too. It was weird.
Kari Jobe is the most down to earth real christian, she is a God send and i will always enjoy going to her events it’s all spirit filled corporate worship. If you want to encounter the holy spirt and Jesus goto her events. I can listen to her songs over and over her concerts and conferences never get old, i play the songs over and over they never get old it’s because it’s all focused on christ. Kari has made a huge impact on my walk in faith
First time seeing TR and it for sure won't the be the last! He was one of the best concerts I've seen! Loved his energy, fan interaction, songs/setlist, and just everything about the person Thomas Rhett is...
I will say Van Andel Arena is a great venue and not really a bad seat in the house, but Saturday night it was extremely warm in there. I don't remember anytime at Van Andel it being hot, so maybe there was an issue with the air conditioning. If not, please let them know it was way too hot in there.
Show was awesome. Have seen a lot of great shows over the years, but this is at the top. I am 66, and they are my favorite band. Best lyrics of anything I listen to. Great energy at the show, guys are super live. I also have a feeling I would like these guys in person, seem very genuine to me.
Am going to try to catch another of their shows this year, after football is over.
Jam packed, upbeat, 3 and a half hours of FUN and worship! Definitely recommend everyone to go to this concert!! My son asked for TobyMac concert tickets for his 11th birthday and I am so excited TMac came back to GR after 4 years!! God is soo good! Loved every single performer, every song, every testimony, every dance move, the confetti, special effects...Thank you Toby for an unforgettable evening!! My son proudly wore his TMac shirt to school today! Come back soon!!
I saw them at Eastern Mich University back in April so I knew the Christmas concert would be good but, it wasn't just good it was extremely good. My $100 front row Q&A seat was worth every penny! I and my family & friends will be going and seeing them every time they are in Michigan or even Toledo, OH.
For King + Country always put on a great concert. This concert was no different, with great songs, a lot of energy, great visuals, percussion, joy and God! It was a great sold out show with everyone there with the same reason, to be lifted up and Joel and Luke can do that. There's a lot of hands when Joel sings, If you're looking for HOPE tonight raise your hands, as with most I raised my hand. Whatever you are going though or just need a little push or are just there for great uplifting music, For King + Country can help. Plus, their ticket prices very reasonable.
Loved the music.. Didn't like the arena. Seats to close felt locked it and claustrophobic. Drunks in front and drunks in back. It's a struggle to get up if you had to get up right away and then people would steal your seats. Weather was bad and two of my people couldn't make it but we're on way. so I lost money on the tickets.
IF you are a country AND rock fan, this concert would have been for you. Was tortured by listening to country for an hour before Five Finger came up. Was glad I got the tickets for free. Otherwise wouldn't go to that type of genre mix again *yikes*
Carrie Underwood and Jimmy Allen killed it on stage! The dream of seeing Carrie Underwood in concert has come true and it was an amazing experience. GA tickets 5 ft from the stage, feeling the fire, during her new song "BURN", illuminate off the stage. Hands down the best entertainment anyone will ever see. 100% recommend seeing Carrie Underwoods - Denim and Rhinestone Tour if you haven't already.
This was such an awesome concert Jimmie Allen and Carrie underwood were phenomenal Jimmie such great vocals he fabulous live and Carrie Underwood you haven’t seen so many different stages design costumes change it was just like a Las Vegas show the notes that Carrie hits our amazing best vip food and drinks the best was meeting her again and sharing this with my sister we lost our mom in September and my sister lost her husband in July it was a great way to spend with her and leave our hurt away for awhile. But the best was when these two artist sang song of praise this time in this world being a Christian is hard theses days are Challenging and when you get to artist that sing songs of praise and we see so many people around you singing the song with them it’s just a heartwarming thing and I would recommend this is a must see tour . You can thank me later jk great show
Jason Isbell writes from the belly of America and his heart. He appeals to all who are listening but especially drives an arrow through the hearts of all women and men that live what they hear in his songs.
He is the quintessential writer….do I say in the vain of our great musicians who he follows in their footsteps.
He tops it of with an excellent band of collaborators plus I’m sure “ brothers ( instrumentals ) in arms.”
Amazing in every regards Taylor Momsen was already my favorite singer , song writer and therefore the Pretty Reckless is my all time favorite band and seeing them fir the very first time finally all it did is make me love her and TPR even more , which I didn’t think was possible but here we are ! A must see live
This was one of the best shows we've ever been to. Entry into the venue was quick and easy. Finding our section was simple. Concessions were fast and friendly.
The show itself was awesome. With six opening acts, the variety of comedy came at us in waves. And Katt Williams was phenomenal. It was one show that I can say, my stomach hurt I laughed so hard. Katt's material was hilarious and his style of delivering it was awesome. He is one of the best in the business. So glad we got to see him.
The concert was a mixture of orchestral, acoustic and rocking out. It was the first night, it started out a little shaky but it came together after a few songs. Roger's voice sounded great and so did Pete. Interaction with the crowd was good and loved the acoustic Won't Get Fooled Again with the whole crowd singing.
Absolutely amazing show. Thinking back the first time that I saw Metallica was in 1984 in Kalamazoo at the State Theater in front of only about 200 people. And now look where they've come. Was it an amazing show. Van Andel is a fantastic venue to see a show the staff is awesome
