The Lemon Tree

This was my 3rd UK gig for King King but we have also seen them twice on the Keeping the Blues Alive 5 day cruise from Athens so we know the guys and their music very well. They are a brilliant hard rock band with 5 very gifted players led by a superb front man in Alan Nimmo. They have built a huge following and tour across both the UK and Europe with great success . They will take part in the American version of Keeping the Blues Alive next year and I have no doubt that the Americans will love them , particularly the kilted warrior frontman with the fabulous voice like the great Paul Rodgers. The gig in Aberdeen’s Lemon Tree showcased King King’s class and the big midweek crowd loved every minute. This is a very special band and hopefully they will extend their fan base across the Atlantic .

LOVED this concert. So special, with a depth and a lightness. Superb history, delicate singing, entrancing viola playing, so funny at times. Captivating. Go, you will be delighted that you did ❤️❤️❤️

Band was absolutely amazing. All excellent musicians. Roll on Jan next year.....and I hope it will be the Music Hall !!!

Brilliant as always, new sounds came through a bit of Reggae, Rock and the favourite electro sounds. Johnny always engages with his fans and is down to earth and has a wicked sense of humour.
