The show was amazing from start to finish including the wonderful meet and greet experience with Derek which has inspired me deeply after hearing his thoughtful words an his life experiences.
My only suggestion is to have someone evaluate the iluminate/lightening used during the show that is very disturbing for us that were sitting on the front rows. It almost blinded to the point that we could not see the act when those lights were pointed to our direction. I would not use such bright lights and make them uncomfortable for the people that paid a lot of money to watch that world class show from the very close seats.
Eric Benet was awesome!! He shudv had more time. Layla Hathaway was good wen sang the hits we all knew. Eric cudv had sum of her time, n my opinion. I was very xcited for this concert wit Eric Benet n October London. Layla was a bonus 4 me wen I got my tickets. October's performance, as the headliner, was very disappointing. I'd seen othr footage, as well as othr's xperiences at his previous concerts, that made me very xcited 2 c him n concert 4 myself. He did mor talkn, playn deceased artist's music 4 us 2 sing n letn his band highlight they'r talents thn he did performing. I got my tickets so long ago, wen his tour was 1st announced, so I was truly xcited 2 go 2 this show. Eric Benet performing wil always get me 2 buy tickets. Sadly his stage time was jus way 2 short!!
EJ Jones did not just perform at the Blues Is Alright Tour in Dallas, he created a whole moment.
The house was packed, the energy was high, and the crowd was waiting on him. From the moment he touched that stage, EJ gave the audience exactly what they came for. His voice has that rare kind of soul that does more than sound good. It pulls you in, makes you feel every word, and reminds you why real music still matters.
What made it even more special was the way he connected with the crowd. EJ came off the stage, interacted with the audience, and made the whole room feel like part of the performance. That kind of presence cannot be taught. It is natural, genuine, and unforgettable.
Dallas felt the soul, the passion, and the Memphis flavor EJ brings every time he steps to the mic. The Blues Is Alright Tour was already a great night, but EJ Jones made sure his performance was one people will be talking about.
The for KING + COUNTRY show at the Texas Trust CU Theatre was incredible. It was my second time to see for KING + COUNTRY in-person, as well as my Mom's, and we loved the show. My brother attended the show with us, and he enjoyed the concert, too. We are all looking forward to having for KING + COUNTRY back in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area for another concert - hopefully, next year! Keep up the great work!
I had such an amazing time! This was my first time at this particular venue, and everything went so smoothly. The only thing I might’ve done differently is choose a different seat—mine was on the side, which was okay, but I would’ve preferred being in the middle. Unfortunately, those seats were already sold out.
Ro did his thing—he’s always amazing. That’s my baby! I love me some Ro. October London was incredible, and Tamar delivered a great performance as well. The whole evening was just beautiful. All the musicians, guest singers—everyone did such a great job.
The venue itself was really nice, and the most impressive part was how easy it was to leave afterward. I loved how they detoured the traffic; normally, you’d be stuck waiting forever, but they had a smart route that made the exit smooth and quick.
From getting the tickets to showing them at the door, everything was seamless. All in all, it was a really, really great concert experience.
5 stars. The location was accessible, the food was reasonably priced, and the merch was diverse. With swift access to the venue, I was refreshed, seated and prepared for the show shortly after arrival.
The show was spectacular. With the interactive screen, your eyes were glued to the stage. It really transports you through time! Its one thing to read the Bible, I wasnt prepared for the emotional wirlwind witnessing Him on that cross. Mercy! What a great way to witness to the masses..this show took me to church!
Thank you, The Thorn!
Great show with Alex Bugnon, Jonathan Butler and Boney James! The sets were an hour long each and they focused on fan favorites as well as mixing in some new material. The Texas Trust CU Theatre (formerly Verizon Theater) is a great venue for performances like these...big enough to to have all the amenities and small enough to make every seat a great one. Parking was easy in/out. I will definitely come back to this venue for jazz concerts.
My daughter and I had a wonderful experience witnessing Mitski (and Arlo Parks) last night! I expected a lovely performance, and my hopes were exceeded. Mitski’s band provided a rich tapestry of orchestral-quality sounds which perfectly accentuated her voice and movement. Mitski’s perfect vocal delivery and mastery of minimalism was exquisite. Her mere presence commanded full attention, and she used that power in a beautiful way. Her organic & unique choreography, use of space, and interaction with props and lighting were captivating. She bookended her set with intimate conversational monologues, allowing all the songs to flow seamlessly together throughout. This level of performance skill and artistry is an unparalleled delight in a culture where excessive gimmick reigns supreme. It was well worth the ticket price. I was so glad that we opted to see her in a smaller theatre venue, rather than a larger arena setting. The acoustics and intimacy seemed crucial for my full enjoyment of this sort of performance.
Although the openers weren’t my style, they weren’t bad. 311 played a great mix of the hits and some deep cuts for us old fans. The venue was awesome. First time there so i didn’t know what to expect but it was very clean and the acoustics were great. Took my brother in law who’d never heard a 311 song before and he had a great time. 10/10 would and will do again.
The entire night was awesome I was able to get my guitar autographed by all the Band members which was awesome huge crowd it was so amazing seeing all the people in the room worshiping the Lord and symphony, orchestra was so beautiful I would like to thank Britney for her amazing help at the concert taking my guitar back stage and having all the band members autograph my guitar that and all the music and worshiping the Lord with my mom thank you Casting Crowns for an amazing performance thank you to the Symphony Orchestra they did an amazing performance
I took my husband to see Kari Jobe for his birthday. My husband has been a professional musician for over 20 years, and he thinks Kari's voice is a remarkable gift that is uncommon in CCM. That being said, although we did enjoy the concert, my husband was disappointed that we did not hear more from Kari. It seemed more like she was a background singer for her husband, Cody. I'd dare to say that 90% of the audience was there for Kari Jobe. Unless Kari isn't feeling well, in which case I hope she can cancel the concert and rest, I hope that Cody will be more considerate of the fact that the majority of the audience paid to come out and hear Kari Jobe. She's like our modern day Sandi Patty. Maybe Cody can take some notes from Keith & Kristyn Getty. Keith doesn't seem to mind letting his wife, whose voice is also remarkable, take the lead singing during a concert. Cody is a great songwriter, but there's no replacing Kari Jobe.
IT’S THE BOYS!!
Seriously one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to. We were in line by 2pm and were on our feet the rest of the day. That combined with the Texas heat and the typical crowded fashion of a music festival had us dead tired by the time their set was up, but as soon as they started playing we were immediately reenergized and completely hyped the rest of the night. Their stage presence is nothing like I’ve ever seen. You can tell how much they love each other and the music they create together. I laughed, I cried, I screamed, but most importantly I enjoyed myself. Thank you boygenius for being amazing <3
As far as the other aspects of the event go, I was really happy to see how attentive both the artists and the medics were during the show. Some people unfortunately passed out throughout the event, but everyone was very helpful at catching the attention of who was on stage so they could alert security. That’s sadly very hard to find at concerts these days. Everyone we were around during the show were so sweet and helpful when someone needed something and we even bonded with some of them. Boygenius fans are the best!
Boney James always give a great show! I love how he mixes or alternates his new album with the old favorites. He understands his fans in loving all of his music. He gives much love, gratitude and appreciation to his band. Awesome! I can’t wait for his next album. Kudos to the artist that came before him, Damien Escobar and Alex Bugnon. The power went out in the theatre when Boney’s drummer was doing his solo. The drummer kept playing and didn’t miss a beat. He kept playing until finally the power and lights were back. So awesome! Don’t know if someone tripped over the power cord or the storm had some affect to do with it, but the show still went on without skipping a beat! Thank you, Boney, for a wonderful show!
Some feature artist were brought out that no one knew yet and killed the vibe. The same song was played two times in a row which shouldn’t have been giving Kodak’s list of songs out. He didn’t really perform the songs they just kinda played in the background while he walked around throwing towels and money to the pit. This was probably good for the people in the pit but the rest of the crowd needed more energy and performance from Kodak. Total show was great! Last performance from Kodak could have been better.
The show was good and brain McKnight did an excellent job but i was disappointed that there was only two of the three boyz two men there, they did good with just the two of them but I pay to see all three of them not just the two and I understand that the third came ill I just wish they give Announcement before hand like before the show or on the website or give an discount on tickets and merchandise cause of this absence & speaking of merchandise they ran out of stock of sizes of shirts like large for both the grey & black shirts at the merchandise table wish they been more fully stock on these items!
Attended alone. I will not miss Aaron if he is anywhere near Ft Worth, Texas. Absolutely a gifted performer who did not sell out to the establishment as most artists do. He is on his game with his amazing voice and songwriting ability and does not have to rely on computers to make him sound better or like he does on his CDs. In fact, he actually sounds better most of the time in person as he can interject any magnitude of emotion he may be feeling at the time he is performing. He is straightforward in his beliefs and proud to be an American. Love, Love, Love everything about him.

Literally one of the best nights of my life! I haven’t been a fan of them for long, but NCT quickly became my favorite kpop group. They were so amazing and Dallas absolutely LOVED them! They performed hard and well and i cannot thank them enough for becoming a part of my life. Something like a group going on their very first tour is a very special thing, and to be able to experience it first hand is.... Mind Blowing!! If you have the chance go see NCT even if you have to get nose bleeds it is totally worth it!
this concert was beyond amazing like words can’t even describe how fun this concert was. This was the most fun i’ve had in a long time. The merch was super cute and somehow I meter Ryan Herron and Myta Herron. I’m so gratefully appreciative of being able to be there. like this was so amazing. the boys looked so good, their vocals were amazing, and the environment was perfect. it felt like a party. i can’t even describe how incredible it was.
David Byrne is amazing! Don’t think of this as just a concert but an experience! David Byrne is amazing & the production is almost beyond description. Perfect set list, amazingly talented dancers give a performance that is mesmerizing. David is still in perfect voice & while he is the star of the show, he consistently allows all the performers (and there are a lot of them) to shine as well. If you have the chance, definitely see this show, you will not be disappointed😀.
amazing show, so much fun, and so many laughs! i got to meet a few new people, some girls i met on a group chat, and two friends from theatre i didn’t even know were going to the show! the only problem i had was that there was only one merch table so the line was awful and i didn’t walk out with a shirt. but the show itself was incredible and i love these two way too much! ❤️
