Gentlemen, what an incredible show. Last week I had the pleasure of seeing you live in Munich (again), and the first three songs (Grand Slam, Revolution & Is This Love) completely blew us away. It was pure joy — music, drive, and energy at their very best. You held the pace-leaving us sweaty, happy and ecstatic.
Please consider releasing a live album. Please come back soon. And please never stop making music.
To anyone who has never been to a Spidergawd concert: go.
I’ve attended a few hundred shows over the years, but Spidergawd have always been something special. They truly deserve — and will ultimately get — a much larger audience. Try to catch them up close in a small club while you still can.
Sounded exactly as on the CD, had great energy, many crowd engaging and sing along moments, played a long and diverse set.
Warm-Up act was also nice.
Recommend seeing them, if You have the chance!
This guy breathes to make music! Venue is very cosy (400-ish people) and concerts there always have a special atmosphere to them. Definitely one of my favourite shows to have seen there!
A breathtaking event! The other fans were nice, making the time in the queue very enjoyable, and many of us made new friends.
Both opening acts (Sector 5 and JC Stewart) were up to the task and really got the crowd going. Not a single person seeming upset at having to wait for their fave a little while longer.
Joker Out themselves were even better live than the studio or even live recording could ever prepare you for! They're charismatic on stage, play their songs amazingly well, and have a great connection both to the crowd and the other members.
They interact a lot with their fans, both on and off stage, and people kept giving them little gifts (i.e. personalized sun glasses, shirts, a little crown, and more) that they accepted and either put aside for later or wore immediately - depending on the convenience of the item.
As is custom, Umazane Misli was mostly sung by fans. And though I honestly expected not to care much about strangers singing, it was very heartfelt. When someone faltered, the crowd would sing along to give them support, and when they lost the beat, we would provide it. The energy was impossible to describe.
Sadly the band had to leave right after the show, since their next one the following day was quite far away. However, that's not the norm. Often times fans do get the chance to meet with them, get photos and autographs, and give them gifts.
I'm looking forward to my next Joker Out show!
