Had the most amazing time ever seeing you Kane Bown live was unbelievable, can’t wait till you come back to Australia and to take my children.. best night going by myself with no one awesome experience ever … till I see you again back in Australia Carlene Blackburn your fan from the start so proud of you and how far you have come.
It was absolutely awesome. We had great seats close to the stage and so could see the energy and passion from this iconic Australian band, the soundtrack from my youth.
Ian Moss was an absolute superstar with his incredible guitar playing and vocals.
Jimmy Barnes, what a legend. He left it all out there with his trademark grit and growl. That his voice has survived 50 years of all of the gigs that he has done is a testament to his talent.
The band was tight.
Shout out to Karen Lee Andrews the opening act. What a gracious person and performer and what a powerful and soulful voice.
We were pleasantly surprised with the traffic, parking and entry to the venue and also the exit from the venue wasn't too bad.
Another item ticked off my bucket list
Venue organisation was excellent. The food was best and freshest so far experienced. Little things like thinking to open the back gates to let gridlocked cars out of car park excellent innovation. Sound quality for band was also excellent. Could hear music and artists perfectly. Much better than previous arena experiences.
50 years on and still going strong . Legends, talent, so many classic hits I have grown up with. All the band is talented and to be able to have 2 lead singers that compliment each others vocals AND have the ability for Solo is amazing. Ian Moss, kudos to you for your amazing talent…writing, guitar and vocals.. Jimmy, what can I say..amazing , talented, unique. You own it. Nobody is anything like you. Thank you Cold Chisel.
I love it. My 16 year old me is screaming and dreams do come true. Truely recommended seeing them in the future
Hayley is amazing and sweet and has incredible voice and amazing personality
You have to appreciate female bands in the music industry because they did and amazing and incredible performance.
It was really amazing seeing Joji live!
I used to watch him back on YouTube years ago, and listened to many of his Soundcloud classics for years also, so it was really incredible hearing some of them played live! It was a pretty chill concert with lots of laughs. SavageRealm as the opener and hype man was great, and the round of Super Smash Bros. was hilarious.
Would definitely see Joji live again, and would get general admission instead of seats! Would have been great to dance and vibe more ✨
Such an incredible show! I’ve been wanting to see them for years because I know how good they are at their performances, and this definitely exceeded my expectations. They have such a great stage presence, and really have a good time with it all. I had so much fun!! This was definitely one of my most favourite concerts I’ve attended!
So amazing, one of the best shows I’ve been to all year!! This was my first time seeing Paramore, and I wasn’t disappointed, can’t wait to see them again next time they come to Brisbane, whenever that may be. Hayley Williams sounds amazing live, and I loved the stage effects 😊
Thank you Ghost for the extremely amazing night, my dream was to see you all in person and it finally happened, once that curtain dropped I started bawling my eyes out, overwhelmed with emotions, last night was the best night I’ve ever had in my entire life. I’m glad to have been someone who was lucky enough to get tickets to a band who I adore and appreciate with all my heart. This proves that dreams really do come true. You all put on an epic show and I had a really great time singing along to your songs. It was really upsetting having to see you leave knowing this is the last time we will see you but until next time thank you so very much for coming to Brisbane and performing for us, we all had a wonderful time. Now you can all finally relax and enjoy not having to travel everywhere from after last night. Hope you travel safely back home you lot I love you all so much 🤟🏼💖
Regurgitator were so energetic and entertaining. I almost thought weezer wouldn't be able to top them. But then weezer took it to another level. They played most of the greats and Rivers Cuomo also did a few songs acoustically which was a nice reprieve from the highs and actually became a highlight for us.
So fun!! There was a little bit of rain, but not enough for it to cause any problems. People did bring out umbrellas but they were put away after maybe 5-10 minutes.
While security did do their job, it wasn't done very well. The cloakroom didn't open until 45 minutes after it was said it would, and by then gates were opening and you had to run back to the line to make sure you got in soon enough.
Security did nothing to help with the lines and the one security guard I did speak to made sure we understood everything and pointed out times, where the lines were assumed to be and informed us about the system that some people were putting in place.
The best thing about waiting outside the venue would have to be the community. People were so understanding and several fans were going around handing out bracelets, trinkets, papers, stickers, etc. to show their support for Ghost and bring the community together. It was really easy to find line buddies that were caring and made sure you were included.
Just before the concert, we were told several times not to run to the barricade, but not very many people listened. People were barging their way through to the barricade, taller people had no regard for people several feet shorter than them and one guy in the area I was standing in was acting extremely inappropriately to people politely asking him to move. I'm forever thankful for the 2 different groups of people who helped both my friend and I out.
The audience was great for most of the performance, even the opening band. There were some moments that angered me, but it was normal stuff for a concert.
In the end, I really enjoyed the experience and Ghost definitely deserve a rest after how long they've been touring. 130 shows is insane and I wish them well for their next tour.
Tremendous show! The assistance was full of zest and the band was superpowered.
The Missus & I had come from nearby New Caledonia to attend this event and we did not regret the flight a single second!
We are looking forward to be lucky enough to attend another Ghost concert in Australia or New Zealand in the future. The sooner, the better.
I've been following Pentatonix right from the Sing offs days and they never cease to amaze me. What I saw on Wednesday was more than I could have expected. Brilliant. Live, they sound so close to what you hear on their production videos it's uncanny. The whole show was visually, dynamically and vocally outstanding.
Was stoked & so happy I had the opportunity to see them, they were awesome, waited over 10 years to see them, pleased they sung some off there older songs as well as there most recent.
Hopefully they won't wait so long to tour Australia again & we will see them within another 5 at least.
Even though it was held at "The Swamp" (Brisbane Entertainment Centre, the worst venue in Brisbane), the light show was as awesome as the music, if not more so. However, I was disappointed that they didn't play a few more of their older tracks (they only played 3 tracks I knew).
Absolutely epic show. Haven't seen them for 15 years and they're even better than ever. Took my kids to their first standing experience at a gig and got 3rd from the front in the centre. Parking easy, entry easy, venue immaculate and everyone was really respectful of each other in the general area.
Can I do that again??
Glad we went so uplifting felt good - sound excellent - wonderful - jimmy you give us so much - To Love Somebody" Jimmy's version my fav I just melt & play over & over - Teskey Bros how great they are - sit back relax. Jimmy's backup singers & Mahalia wow glad I was there early - hi to sweet Jane - Jimmy you never dissapoint power on. Suzanne
Amazing to see the boys play live again with the perfect mix of older and newer tracks. The only downfall was the venue. The Brisbane Entertainment Centre has let down yet another amazing band with stupidly poor visibility from the standing zone and numerous technical difficulties.
💖 Riverstage for life 💖
he was a lil generic with the setup but......... DAM!!!!!! he was one of the best live singer ive heard he made everyone will love and his voice was just amazing cant fault it from cd to live no difference between the two. will differently love to meet him in person hope next Brissy tour he will offer vip with meet in greet
Really enjoyed the show but was very disappointed in the venue choice the
Brisbane entertainment centre was a poor choice I believe as seating was horrible . It felt like I was in a high school hall with cheap plastic chairs to sit on. It was also very hard to see the stage as the chairs were all at one level overall not a great experience I would probably save the $99 per ticket next time and just watch the dvd. I was also appalled that the entertainment centre now charges $15 for parking as it used to be free it was an absolute mess trying to get out of the car park at the end of the show and no help
was given assisting cars out if the carpark
