Good time in a great venue. Cool discovery of new talent. Show opener Rice from SNL band is a versatile and moving singer-songwriter destined for huge success.
This band explodes on stage, discharging energy like a bolt of lightning and sound like thunder. From beginning to end, they hit a series of high notes in seamless fashion creating a set as tight as the space in the packed venue.
My friends and I were thrilled with our experience. We all love NYC to begin with. To be in a small downtown rock club on a Saturday night in the big city was a real treat. We met a lot of Soraia "Fiends" (Super Fans) who we all bonded with instantly. The venue was funky, cozy and had a great vibe. Like being in someone's cool basement bonus room. The artists themselves were superlative. Soraia put in a fantastically emotional performance. Diamond Dogs were joyous and happy, they had us laughing all the way through. The icing on the cake was meeting Little Steven Van Zandt. He was friendly, gracious and tolerated out "fan gushing." He let me get a pic of the two of us together which I will definitely have framed and placed on the wall in my office.
Soraia has held a special place for me since I discovered them last Christmas. They are an essential part of the rock music scene, and I wish them the best on their musical journey.
The venue sucked, band was fine. Venue was totally oversold, has columns that block the view of stage and the sound was bad. Shame 5678’s didn’t get proper space to shine.
I left a review before but again, lived up to expectations n satisfied some very tough critics. They won over some fans, hope to see them at the Brooklyn show.
This show was absolutely poggers. 5/5 pogged out by Torture
In all seriousness it was a fantastic show - incredible vocals, lyrics, and stage presence, and the crowd loved it.
