It was my first concert in general, but also by Porter himself! It felt like a surreal experience, and I think I’ll never be able to reach that nirvana again!😭 Guest artist Ericdoa really honed in the audience with his spectacular opening performance, and the whole room felt electrified with a burst of energy from everyone! As for Porter’s performance, I could have cried by the amount of joy I felt in being there in the first place! This is one of those concerts, anyone, regardless if you’ve ever heard of Porter or not, can enjoy their content little hearts here <3
Sting was amazing. A consummate professional, nearing Demi-god status. The venue was lovely. The other humans in attendance? Unbelievable. This was enough to make me stop going to concerts. The man next to me scream-sang every song to his wife at top volume as though he were 15 years old in his mom’s basement shower. When he wasn’t scream-singing, he was mansplaining music to her. The woman behind us didn’t know how to turn her flash off during her *extensive* video taking. The two men in front of me were rather tall and both somehow had gigantic basketball heads that they frequently had to put very close together to talk. Frequently. So despite my eager lifelong anticipation of this moment and scoring 8th row intimate seating, it was nearly impossible to hear or see what I had paid a lot of money to hear and see. I’m moving into a cave now, thank you and goodbye.
The band plays really well! I usually see Duane in small venues in the Sarasota area. He really surprised me last night! He was in control, played really different and really well. Johnny Stachela is amongst the best slide players on the planet. Devon was not as prevalent on electric guitar since he plays acoustic on some of his dad’s songs.
A good mix of songs. Some ABB songs, some covers some of their own. and all
He and band are amazing, and I hate to say I was bummed, but what turned me on to Colter in the first place was “The Devil Wears a Suit and Tie.” Everyone waited until the very end to hear it for the encore, and he didn’t play it. I guess that’s just me wishing he would put out more songs like Sleeping on the Blacktop. Perhaps that’s not who is anymore, and he is content to sing cowboy lullabies.
The Fillmore in Detroit is great but, this is the second time ive seen the Sons there and the building had issues the first time the heat went out and AC stayed on in winter , This time there were a couple of technical difficulties that were fixed and Rival Sons just played later and we were given a treat of an acoustic song from Jay while we waited.
The Rival Sons are an amazing Rock n Roll Band and their live shows are not to be missed! The band holds you the entire time and you just do not want it to end. They always play a great mix of older songs even when supporting their new album DarkFighter. There is really something for everyone the casual i heard them on the radio fan all the way to this is my 14th show and omg theyre the best fan!! that last one is me btw! The show was magical as usual uplifting and banging! If you get to meet the guys theyre all very nice and such personalities. The only bummer was Todd their Keyboardist wasnt there and idkw but, whatever the reason my thoughts are with you and yours Todd as you were definitely missed!
I wish they had more variety in their merch however, all their merch is very reasonably priced.
if you have a chance definitely buy the tickets.
the opening bands for the sons are always picked well and always worth going early for.

I wish I had something to say about the concert. Unfortunately, my wife and I could not make it due to a positive Covid test (which we are 100% positive we picked up at the Alter Bridge show the week before). All I know about the show is that Ticketmaster screwed us out of $133 that they wouldn’t refund us and didn’t resell our tickets through their ridiculous system. We didn’t even manage to get the $75 they said we would get back for selling the tickets, because they didn’t bother to approve our ability to sell those tickets until the day before the show. We’ve seen Skillet before, so they’ll get five stars for that performance. Ticketmaster, however, gets a big fat zero for their performance.
I’d hate to think I’m on the wrong side of the “if it’s too loud, you’re too old” quote, but I really had trouble hearing vocals at the show. The lead guitars and drums came through loud and clear, but Red and Alter Bridge’s singing came through a bit muddy. Wolf’s vocals in Mammoth were nice and clear, so maybe it was just a tone thing for me. That being said, all the bands had a ton of energy and were obviously having a blast - Detroit’s reputation held up well :) This was our second Fillmore show, and the first in the balcony. The view was much better than I expected, thanks to the size of the venue. We’ll definitely be back for another show in those seats!
Although I have enjoyed the music I’ve heard from Måneskin I was not prepared for how intense, driving, loud and brilliant they are live! One Banger after another kept the crowd on its feet, dancing and screaming along. Face melting guitar solos, incredible drum work, fierce throbbing bass and a front man that had the crowd eating out of the palm of his fringe clad hands!
I'd give more stars if I could. Their whole set was killer. Who would have expected "To the Rats" or "Into the Mouth of Hell We March"? Add on "Martyr" and "Like Light to Flies", pepper in the new tracks, and drop "Shogun" right in the middle of it. I would have given 5 stars just for them playing Shogun. Absolutely loved it, can't wait to see them again.
Badflower ALWAYS puts on a great show. I fell in love with the band when I first saw them in Detroit back in 2018. Their performance was so impressive that I was sure they would have a successful future. They are electrifying on stage. I was delighted to see them again and again in larger and larger venues - great for them but tougher for me to see them as I am short and am relegated further and further back in the venue. That said, I am happy to see them continue to create great music and put on great performances, and I will continue to see them whenever they come to the Detroit area. And can we PLEASE get a special section up front for short people??? Or do I have to keep shelling out for meet and greets so I can enter early and get a spot near the stage?
Awesome show and even better energy in the D... The Detroit crowd is surely starved for more national Reggae acts and they let the guys in Rebelution know it with thunderous applause of sincere gratitude!
Stoopid Boys Miles and Kyle need to visit again!
Scott and Cocoa need to bring it back to the D!
Eric keep bringing the guys back and we'll be bringing it for you! Come back every year, it's been a while my friend!
Definitely recommend going to at least one concert of them only thing I feel like security needs more improvement on rules & how easy they let others cut lines or how easy it was for people not VIP to cut into the VIP line & get VIP spots without having VIP other then that band was amazing experience was amazing !
The show was awesome had a really good time all the performances were cool. There was a brief moment in the night where I got shoved from behind by a security guard. It looks like they were breaking up a fight that was breaking out behind me. That was really awkward, But aside from that the night was pretty cool...
Totally amazing show from start to finish. Bones Owens did a superb job as the opening act. Followed by my favorite band...KALEO!
My son and I had a fantastic night. The guys put on such a great show, from the singing, lyrics, the backup singers, the opening act, the instrument playing...perfect in every way!
Thank you Kaleo for an incredible night, making great life long memories with my adult son.
I had heard of Foxing before this show and probably heard a song or two. We went to see Manchester Orchestra (who was the headliner) but I really enjoyed Foxing and was more impressed with their live performance than the headliner. No disrespect to Manchester! What a great show! Now I’m a Foxing fan!
One of the best shows I've seen in this year! Yelawolf does NOT disappoint! Great set, great show, awesome experience, amazing venue/seating options and pricing was decent as well! Only thing that sucked is the restrooms are seriously small. Nearly like for kids, but other then that everything was great! Would see him again and possibly others if they appeared here.

It was an amazing concert. The song choices, the lighting, the venue, everything was perfect. Tom was communicating with the audience. You could tell he was happy to be there. He got emotional during the adventure when the crowd took over the song. Matt Rubano fits so well with the band. We met him on the street. Super cool dude with the fans. The AVA fans were waiting for a very long time for this concert and we were not disappointed.
I met paul klein and he was just a beautiful as I thought he would be. They sound like they did on the CDs and the performance was like i was dreaming. General admission was quite the experience, as Paul crowd surfed and at one point a fight broke out with some shove-y drunk girls, but overall it was a terrific experience and I will never forget it
The first set was meh, but SFAM was phenomenal. Probably the best I've personally ever seen them. Knocked half a point because the band is extremely adamant that nobody uses their phones during a show to the extent of having security scan the aisles like prison guards. Also would have much preferred it standing. Regardless, it was amazing.
