Small crowd as this was the first time to Oklahoma for Sam. Sam's patter was well received by the audience and his lyrics, playing and voice were very much enjoyed by all.
Jimmy Davis never disappoints. He clearly has a blast bringing his music to an audience. His joy is infectious. Last night he brought his long time friend, from Memphis , Eric Lewis. Definitely a five star performance in the best listening room in the USA, Greg Johnson’s Blue Door.
We had the BEST time! 10/10 would recommend. Jed put on a fantastic show. We hope to go again one day!
Great as always. Thankful for Blue Door to bring in great and talented singers and songwriters! Zac Wilkerson never disappoints. 🥰
David Amram and friends relaxing music and pleasant conversation. Thks for delightful evening. Fyi: the BYOP should mention water as well. Peace. Sandra
I have seen hundreds of shows at The Blue Door over the past quarter century and I have to say last night’s performance by Mike Viola has to rank in the top 5.
Known mostly as a producer for Mandy Moore, Andrew Bird & Semisonic and now as a singer, writer and producer with Panic at the Disco, his songs are intensely personal, relatable and charming.
And he is the most genuine and personable performer I have ever met
Jonathan Richman was sublime last night. Wise, innocent, joyous, imaginative, clever and charming, equal parts Pablo Picasso and Harpo Marx. The Blue Door is absolutely perfect for his kind of intimacy.
This was an amazing night of music at a great club. Both SONiA disappear fear and K.C. Clifford are incredible songwriters and it was such a treat to have them on the same night.
Highly recommend both the Blue Door and these artists.
Great show! Sue and her band didn’t disappoint. She is an amazing guitarist and storyteller. Don’t miss her show when you have a chance.
Monte never disappoints and seeing him in such a small venue was awesome. We all know he's an incredibly talented artist but at last night's acoustic show, we got that plus he proved to be quite the entertainer. I live in Austin so I've had the pleasure of seeing him so many times but I brought 5 friends who had never seen or heard him and they were all blown away. Thanks for another great show, Monte!
Always the best,! One of the great voices in country music, with an incredible catalog of songs from her career. The Blue Door is an intimate gem run by the best people in local music.
There is no better to hear a concert than the Blue Door. If you ever have a chance to see Robbie Fulks, don’t miss him. He’s great!
It was awesome. He’s as good as I hoped he’d be in a live one person performance!!! Such incredible talent and heart felt lyrics.
Highly recommend.
Absolutely one of the best shows I have ever seen. The Blue Room is the only way I want to see live music. Jason Eady is a BAMF.
Was a fantastic and very memorable show. Tornado sirens went off as David started performing "I'm not going anywhere."
Sean McConnell is one of our favorites artists ever, and The Blue Door a favorite venue. Sean’s writing is incredible, and his voice even better. He gives his all on stage!
Great to be back in The Blue Door again. I really enjoyed the format of the show - your turn, your turn, my turn. Kelly Willis exuded pure joy as she sang, Brennen Leigh was a revelation on guitar and mandolin, and Melissa Carper told the best stories.
Kelly, Brennan and Melissa put on a great show in an intimate venue focused on the music. Highly recommend!
This concert was absolutely amazing!! The Blue Door was a wonderful venue and Crystal Bowersox was just awesome. Hands down, this was the best concert I have EVER been to!! Thank you Crystal Bowersox for the amazing concert. Thank you Blue Door for the wonderful space and thank you Bands In Town for the recommendation!!
If you ever have the chance to you ABSOLUTELY need to see Sean live. His stage presence and story telling ability is captivating.
