Amazing show, awesome venue, everyone rocked!!! Isaak and the Holy Guitar kicked things off with a blast of hilarious post-punk, ellyeahdehd kept things rolling with a sick mix of punk and stoner metal, and then both Rent Strike and The Taxpayers brought it home with some of the best folk punk you'll ever hear!!
my first impression of the band, my friend didn’t wanna go alone so she asked me to come. ALL THE BANDS WERE AMAZING!! i now have 3 new bands to fan girl over :)
It was a great card for the night. Unwell was FANTASTIC in front of their hometown crowd. Their music was top notch as always; they're energetic on stage and they interacted with the audience. They are an all-around OUTSTANDING band and I will go see them every time they are in a venue near me. I've also stocked up on their merchandise to show my support for them and advertise to my friends. I'm a huge Unwell fan!!!
What an amazing night! Last night’s concert was everything I hoped for and more. The intimate setting made it feel like a private performance. The night was perfect.
The Astronomers are the best! Incredible catalogue of music, and high energy and engaging with the crowd. I look forward to seeing many more live shows!
the BEST concert i’ve been to in awhile and i’ve been to a lot of concerts. not only was the crowd amazing but THEY were amazing, sean never disappoints with his dancing on the guitar and reeve jumping into the crowd for the last song and NICK was absolutely incredible on vocals! i went to the meet and greet before hand and it felt so personal and was a great connection we all sat around and sang and talked and laughed, never had a meet and greet that was like that. after the talking and laughing we got to take pictures with them and a signed poster. seriously these guys are amazing on stage and i absolutely will be seeing them again! (been listening to them since 2017, great to finally see them!)
This was probably one of the best concerts i’ve been to in a long time. Tickets were cheap and i got to meet them and have them sign my Vinyl. Also i was basically on stage with them i was so close. I can’t wait to see where they go next and i hope they come back to Michigan.
riz puts on the beat shows i've ever been too. His crowd work is phenomenal! also he give great hugs at the merch booth as well.
SOOOO amazingly awesome show!!! Very talented group of guys, Nathan Colberg opened, we was so amazing as well! The Loving Touch is a really nice small venue, I feel very lucky to have seen him there before he gets a big following here in Detroit. Can’t wait for next time…
I have waited a long time to see this band…and they greatly exceeded my expectations! The show was fantastic. I would see them again in a heartbeat.
It was f*cking phenomenonal!! First show I've been to in over 10+ years and I'm trying to get VIP tickets to Wednesdays show 4 hour drive and every minute will be worth ittt! ❤️🫶🔥
The venue was small and I intimate which made the show even better. You could feel the love for the band the whole time. Can’t wait to see them again!
Great show. Got to see not only fame on fire but kingdom collapse as well. The opening guy was dope as well. I didn't catch his name, unfortunately, but he reminded me of a mix of sueco and t-pain. The venue was a good spot as well. close courters but not overcrowded.
always killer. i love making new friends at shows, and the aquadolls always brings a crowd of amazing humans
ps maze if you see this pls i forgot to get your snap pls forgive me 3
Fun, intimate, and mind blowing talented. Band was tight and clearly having a good time up there, so we all fid too. There's an app for parking, but bringing cash to venue gets you discounts
Really enjoyable experience seeing WCAR in such a small venue again after so many years. The Loving Touch was easily accessible, had a good bar and the show was a lot of fun.
The show was so absolutely amazing. They performed brilliantly live and it was mesmerizing. I had a fantastic evening and definitely can't wait to see them again their next time around. I highly recommend seeing them play if you love this band.
Surfbort is my favorite band to have ever existed. This was my 1st Surfbort show & show since Covid 19 came along & it was amazing. Dani & the rest of Surbort are even better in person & just beyond fabulous. I think I cried after this show bc it was that special to me.
apologies for the rant about one fan, but it is a memory right?
the band was fantastic, as always. the banter was hilarious, they have great energy, and they have a fantastic rapport. the only complaint i could possibly have referring to them would be that the setlist was >50% unreleased songs. it was great regardless, but that made the show a bit less enjoyable for me.
what was even worse was the prick to my right who kept yelling stuff at the band like he was best friends with them. it's not even just that, it's that he heckled every chance he got during every break. like dude, you're not a part of the show, stop doing that stuff. stop telling the guitarist that his fretless guitar makes you wet, stop bowing repeatedly and yelling "we're not worthy!!!" everytime he does anything cool (and then of course ignore the rest of the members in the band too), stop yelling about your dick (the guitarist even called you out after that, but that fact must've flown over your head because you kept yelling stupid shit), stop miming every joke somebody else made. it's embarrasing and obnoxious.
other than that manchild, the crowd was excellent. i even made a friend there and chatted with some guys who ive seen multiple times at other shows in the area. fun atmosphere, respectful people (for the most part), and tasty-ass jams. amazing show, just wish they played more released material!
Absolutely killed it! They played a diverse set with even the cover tunes thrown in. The venue was excellent for a bar type club, great atmosphere. If they were using true guitar amps the roof would have blown off the place!
