Amazing show! EMF brought pure joy & energy to the small crowd & we loved it. And you could tell that they were truly having FUN performing. James voice hasn't aged a day, nor has his boundless, and infectious energy; and getting to witness super-underrated guitarist Ian Dench play was awesome — his solo on "Unbelievable" was worth the price of admission alone. There was a good mix of older & newer material played (but I do wish they'd played more tunes from their 2nd album STIGMA, which is my fave). The band came out after the show to sign autographs & take pics with fans, also. I really hope they find their way back for more shows in Toronto in the near future. Wonderful. ❤️

Great show, New Candys were definitely the highlight of Day 2. While I wish they could have had a longer set - they haven't been here since 2022 - this festival introduced them to a lot of new fans for next time. And I hope to see this festival back, it was managed and curated really well. Having it move between two stages at Lee's was a brilliant idea, and after years of losing festivals in TO it's more than welcome to see a new one.
