Not overstating when I say my favorite concert, ever. A magical, beautiful, intimate experience with one amazing artist and a whole community of strangers. Joy was had, friends were made, tears were shed. If it gets you there and you can afford it, spend stupid money to go. You won’t be sorry and it just might change your life and the lives of others you meet along the way there.
Amazing show! Just Isbell and a guitar. Show really showcased both his vocals and guitar skills. Played all but two songs from new album. All the stripped down arrangements of his older songs normally performed with The 400 Unit worked. I didn’t want the show to end.
Fabulous concert!! You can't beat the gorgeous Fox Theater, and Casting Crowns is one of my all-time favorite bands. My only complaint is that I wish they could have played longer, performing more favorites from the first half of their life as a band. Casting Crowns is a little like the Rolling Stones of Christian music...they could play 4 hours straight and still not perform all the favorites.
On March 8, me and my brother and my mom and aunt were blessed to go to the Celtic Woman 20th anniversary concert and it was amazing. I highly recommend Celtic Wiman as always because they are so kind and so good to their f fans and you won’t regret going to a concert.. heard a few new songs and they were beautiful. Of course my favorite was You Raise Me Up and Amazing Grace. I’m so thankful that we were able to create new memories and have fun. I pray that the Lord will continue to bless them and keep them safe as they continue to bring so much joy to all of their fans year after year. God bless you, Celtic Woman . This was my fourth concert and every concert I have been to they have never disappointed and they never will and I can’t wait to go to the next tour that they have in Atlanta Georgia.
Last Night was Round 2 w/ @tonytonitoneofficial at the Fox Theater in Atlanta and the ATL crowd did not disappoint. The vibe in the room was better than the NYC crowd. Everyone was into the show right from the jump. ATL did not get the encore performance of “Leavin’” like NYC did but I enjoyed this performance way more than the first. If you’re on the fence with seeing them.. go get a ticket and enjoy this reunion show. (This is a No Devices TOUR)
What a phenomenal show! I didn't realize what a big fan I was of hers after her last album Dirty Computer until I went to her show last night. I screamed so much and got so hype that I almost lost my voice, and I was dancing so much that I had to be mindful to not bump my seat neighbor.
Fantastic show. Her band was amazing, and the audio was awesome. You might forget what an amazing dancer she is until you watch her live. She even moon walked!
What a great show! The All-Starr Band is full of actual rock stars and having played together with this line-up now for five years they were tight and rocked the house. Ringo was cool, the show was fun, and each all-star played three or more of the hits they had with their original groups as well as Ringo and Beatles tunes. My wife and I knew every song played and really enjoyed ourselves. It was a blast from the past but these guys are still in top form. If you have been waivering on whether to go (as I was), don't waste another second debating. Grab your tickets and go have a blast!
Ringo and his All Star Band were absolutely phenomenal!! Everyone looked and sounded great!! This is the 5th or 6th one of Ringo’s concerts I’ve been to, and they just keep getting better!! Such a special evening… feeling blessed to have been able to attend! Love and peace, Ringo!
It is always great to see STYX. What a phenomenal band and what great cohesion amongst the band members. I must say I it is a total shame and sham that STYX is not in the R&R Hall of Fame. What does it take? An incredible show at the Fabulous Fox Theatre in ATL.
They were as awesome as ever, sound tight and play like they have for 50 years. Chuck played on several songs and the new guy fits perfectly well. Crowd sang loud to most songs as well. Edwin McCain was terrific too. Always a great place to do concerts. The Fox is Atlanta’s #1 concert venue.
This wasn't the best Collective Soul concert I've seen, which is a first. Typically Collective Soul racks up beyond a 5-star review, but I ticked off 2 stars this time for a few reasons.
The venue itself was SO COLD that you couldn't enjoy yourself. As simple as that. On Collective Soul's end, the setlist was TERRIBLY short. They had 12 songs planned, but cut down to 11 (they skipped "Right As Rain"). Not only that, but they put someone else in their setlist called Storie. He was very good but to have his act use Collective Soul's time is ridiculous. I came for COLLECTIVE SOUL. "Right As Rain" is my favorite song and while it was kind for them to swap "Right As Rain" for someone else's act, it's really not a smart move. Nobody knows what to expect for Collective Soul's set and not in a good way. When you pay to see a band you should expect their set list to be THEM. They also keep adding a cover of "R.E.M." in their setlist. Of course their cover sounds great (better than R.E.M. imo) but I pay to hear COLLECTIVE SOUL songs. They need to drop "The One I Love" in their setlist; it's getting SO old after 5 years or more of playing. Not every CS fans like R.E.M. At this point I only got to hear 10 Collective Soul songs and as someone who flew from Michigan to Georgia for this historic event at the Fox with my favorite band... not exactly worth it in that regard.
For whatever time CS did have to play, it was of course TOP NOTCH. I was 2nd row. This band NEVER disappoints with the wild, positive, fun energy of their live shows. It's always awesome that Ed brought his son Lindsey on stage to sing. By default, I always give Collective Soul 5 stars as they set the bar high for expectations. I've never ticked off a star before. I've seen them 13 times in 2 years. I'm a bit obsessed. This was a "specialty" show, and certainly wasn't for everyone. I will always see Collective Soul live because they're a rare and talented band- meeting them again is always my favorite part!!!!
I have seen Vinny is Nashville, (Ryman), and Fox Theater (Atlanta) within the month of August. Living in California, he is absolutely worth seeing...I don't care how much it costs or how long it takes... I've been a fan since the late 70's. Shows were awesome, and he is still the Guitar Slinger!
Fabulous. Les Bres to end show. Unreal work with Los Lobos during set. the Fox really works well for the acoustics to sit as close to dead center and I loved the set change from Susans voice for first few tracks then lead into Pasquan for derek to go off
An absolutely incredible show worthy of a 2 year plus wait. I wish original ticket placement could have been more regarded with the venue upgrade over that period, but I'm still glad we got to go. Can't wait to see them again.
Celtic women postcards from Ireland was absolutely amazing . For me it was a dream come for me and my dear friend Caitlyn it was a blessing and a dream come true to see and hear Chloe Agnew In person she has always been my personal favorite as well as Caitlyn’s favorite singer of Celtic women so that being said I can’t wait to go to my next Celtic Woman concert looking forward to when they’re back in Atlanta Georgia again.
I’ve seen Sara so many times, and this was the most disappointing show thus far. I still love her, but because of her highly successful run with Waitress, she attracts a new geriatric crowd mixed with die-hard fans. It’s a MUCH calmer (less fun) show. For some reason she skipped the Orpheus prelude she did on most of the other dates this year. Also, as beautiful as the strings are, they frequently overpowered her voice and did not complement well. I miss the previous shows that blew me away and had me in tears (Little Black Dress tour 2014 and Brave Enough 2013). She’s amazing, but I won’t go to another regular concert, unless I can catch something special like a gig with NSO.
Hands down, one of the Best shows I've attended this year 🙌🏾 Everyone brought their A-Game to the FOX... Despite technical difficulties 😳... If you've never seen Fantasia in the flesh, just know, she is the Tina Turner and Patti LaBelle of this generation 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 She connected with the audience in a way that moved your inner person to joy, spirituality and compassion!! I WILL definitely pay to see her again! It was worth EVERY COIN!!
The setlist left a lot to be desired. They did not play Turbo Lover, Electric Eye, You've got another thing coming, Diamonds and Rust, or Some Heads are Gonna Roll. I don't think the Glenn Tipton replacement was the right choice. They blew a speaker early on so there was the occasional sound issue. Rob Halford on the other hand was pretty damn close to perfect.
My daughter had the time of her life. It was a really good show and i’m not even a fan(i took my daughter and she made me watch it). She said it was one of the best shows she’s ever seen.
They should of headlined this show #period. I hope they team up with someone other than Toni Braxton. The footage I captured of them was perfect. Awesome vocals. Again though the sound quality wasn’t that great, you heard them word for word..awesome job ladies.
