There are no pics because the show got canceled. Calgary, Seattle, and of course, Portland, but he did post that he would come back and make it up to the people affected. I can't wait to see King Diamond. I hope they co.e back sooner rather than later.
I thought it was a delightful show.
It was so lovely to see the patrons having such a good time.
I work at the Keller Auditorium as an usher, and I will say this was one of the most excellent and polite audiences I have encountered.
The venue was nice and fairly clean. The only negative thing I would have to say is the lines for food and drink, but that’s pretty standard. For the show itself both opening acts were fairly hilarious and then once Shane Gillis came on it was nonstop, tears and laughter And absolutely absolutely amazing show! 12/10 would go back!
Seal & Trevor Horn were absolutely amazing!! Only one bad mention regarding security at Keller Auditorium; I didn't appreciate being singled out and told to NOT take video during The Buggles & Seal, when everyone else was also filming the show. After asking me twice & threatening to throw me out, I watched security attempting to tell everyone who was filming to Stop filming... I've NEVER been asked this at any show I've been to...unbelievable 😞😞
Love the set list, but wish it was a lot louder and wish the seats were lot more concert feeling. Like the layout felt like I was watching a stand up show, but still loved it and still had a great time
Amazing performer! Choreography is elegant and compliments her style of music. Visually appealing and one of the most enjoyable and interactive shows! Truly a real sweet queen! Love her so much.
Excellent show! Didn’t disappoint. The vocals were fantastic as you’d expect. Went from acoustic vocal heavy to rocking loud with the band. Highly recommend catching him somewhere along his tour. His opening act was also great.
This. Thing. Is. F@$%ing. AMAZING! GREAT SOUND, VISUALS, LIGHTING, arrangements, story-telling. They deliver at a spiritual level as well as the gut! I meant to take pictures but was completely swept away and forgot to do so and I am glad I didn’t mis a beat. Love!
I've been a huge fan since 2013. I saw them for the first time in NYC in 2013, and have seen them a bunch of times since. They always put on an amazing show. They always sound great, full of energy. Dan and crew are awesome, always. Much love for them, especially live.
Opeth was so tight and artful and, of course, the little stand-up comedy bits by Mikael in between songs is always a pleasure.
Then ...
As their name implies... Mastodon came thundering through, crushing all in their path; unfortunately, there was a brief interlude because of a power outage but once they got going again it was kick-ass.
The downside were: the power outage, there were assigned seats and I felt neither Opeth nor Mastodon played long enough. I've had worse Monday nights, though.
Cried happy tears most of the time :) thanks Marina for also playing songs off EH and TFJ. Much much much love. Also her outfits were *chefs kiss* and the audience outfits were *chefs kiss* OH ALSO MARINA PLAYED THE PIANO OMG AHHHHH
IT WAS AMAZING!!!!
An experience I wish I could live in, and will cherish, forever. Amazing show, amazing crowd, I just hope it won't be so long until I'm able to see them again.
Concert was excellent as always, but kind of LOUD. I really enjoy his songs when there's fiddle and it is not so overpowered by guitars, so as good as the concert was I think it could have been even better. Also a couple more of his more mellow songs would have been nice. Too bad he never comes to Oregon with Amanda Shires - I just watched one of his concerts on cable TV and it was clear how much she contributes to the 400 unit band.
Avril was AWESOME! The sound was very good, but the lighting was HORRIBLE! I don't know of it was a choice by Avril, but you couldn't even see her for half of the show!
Loved the concert. Dont get me wrong. Huge fan, was sitting the 4th row. However, that was a very short concert. I've never been to a concert where the main performance plays less than 2 hours, let alone only 1 hour. She rocked! I would have loved a normal length concert! If it had been an hour and a half I would have been thrilled! And given it 5 stars. But 1 hour for the price of the tickets was.... disappointing.
Warm up band was awful and loud, bad combination. Nauseating.
Loved the main show, iron & wine with Calexico was much greater than the sum of their parts, both instrumentally and compositionally.
Great show in so many ways! WOTE was fabulous and the tributes to Beard Man so very touching! Would have loved for the event to be outside for free dancing!!! Love love love WOTE
We enjoyed the concert and am glad we went. Being in his late 60’s, his voice was a poor copy of his youthful days. It was hard to make out the lyrics he was singing although we all know them.
The band was on fire and laid down their songs with the usual energy, passion, and precision. Keller Auditorium, on the other hand, didn’t have a sound system meant to handle a louder rock band. The sound was muddled on most of the louder moments of the evening. Ben’s solo acoustic bit was the clearest sounds of the show. I drove down from Seattle and still think it was worthwhile; however, I wouldn’t likely go again if the show was at Keller.
