Shemekia is always fabulous. Seen her at least half a dozen times since 2008 at various venues. The Towne Crier Cafe is an intimate setting that actually has decent food unlike other venues. But the main attraction never fails to deliver. Thank you Shemekia for another memorable performance. God Bless!

Its 3am and I just keep leaving reviews of the Sawyer Fredericks shows I've been to. What does that tell you? Well nevermind what that tells you about me. What it tells you about Sawyer Fredricks and his super cohesive band is that you just have to be there to know. I've seen him twice at the Town Crier and I'll keep going as long as he does. There is a real old school folk vibe there as well as tradition. The owner and Sawyer go way back to when Sawyer was just starting out and you can really feel that relationship there. Beacon is a cool little area with a bunch of ice cream/pizza/niche food places within walking distance to the Town Crier. Check Sawyer Fredericks out whenever you can live and also his new Patreon page. You can be part of his stellar journey for the price of a Starbucks drink once a month.
