Merriweather Post Pavilion

Our group had an absolute blast at the Hardy concert at Merriweather! His openers, McCoy Moore and Tucker Wetmore, were fantastic. I expect to see Tucker Wetmore headlining his own tour soon. Hardy's set list was packed full of great songs and he barely stopped to talk - just back to back to back songs! I've never been to a concert with so little downtime; it was awesome and really felt like we were getting a true concert experience. Hardy and his band sounded so, so good. His stage show was super fun without being over the top or corny. Merriweather Post Pavilion is a great venue, especially if you splurge for inside seats under the pavilion, which we did. My brother in law even got a high five from Hardy when he walked past our section! Overall, absolute 11/10 concert and I can't wait to see him again!!!

My Wife and I came up to see the Capital Jazz festival 2025, from Florida. for the experience of seeing so many different artists ( see Capital Jazz performers) but definitely the stand out, whether group or single performers, was Take 6, out of all the performers present. The vocals were tight, and their harmony was just like when they first performed from their classic Grammy winning album, which was the first of many to come! Mark, Claude, David, and the rest, Winona and I say keep on Keeping on! We love you all, can't wait for your next CD, and more Florida performances.

The show was awesome! However, Ticketmaster is awful! We bought our tickets early on at premium pricing. Closer to the show they started to discount them. Up to several days before the show, they were half price. I tried to exchange them for closer seats at comparable price as allowed by policy, but there was one reason or another they couldn’t. I tried three times. I will never use Ticketmaster. There is no band or performer that I like that much to get ripped off!

Truly unreal experience, the choreography and details in the set were incredible and were a sight to see from the front row. This was my first concert ever and it wasn't overwhelming nor underwhelming. I loved how real she was when she stopped and talked to the audience, and I loved how much emotion and effort she put into her singing and dancing. I'd really say that this wasn't just a concert, as it was conveyed as a REAL performance. I can't wait to see mitski again, because she's an absolute ARTist!!!!

Always have a great time when I go to see these guys in concert and especially a great night last night at merriweather Post I had a problem and the accommodated me every way did it possibly could did to great care of the situation they were very very hospital and I would recommend it anybody that wants to go see anybody in concert if they're ever at Mayweather I will definitely definitely go there top notch venue but every time I see new kids they never never seem to disappoint us it's always a great show.

It was a bittersweet time. We have had many good times being rocked by the boys in KIX and it isn't easy to let go and want to walk away ourselves, but I was there the night in Leesburg when Jimmy had his episode, and it was difficult to watch. Steve was beside himself because he was scared for his longtime friend and bandmate. We as fans were scared for Jimmy as well. It is difficult to let go of the KIX band and the good times had, but most of all, it is difficult to realize that we are not getting any younger. The Final Show was a great time, (despite the rain and being on a Sunday night), but as they wanted to do, Steve Whiteman and the Boys went out on their terms, at the tops of our hearts! Thank you for a 45 year rock party!

A great double bill but the promotors or maybe the bands made one slight error - Saturday night was predominately a Skynyrd Crowd. ZZ Top should have played first. They would have warmed up the crowd for what they really wanted to see and hear. The crowd was on their feet for most of the Skynryd show singing along to the classic tunes. ZZ Top started with some of their older blues-based classics and finished strong with their 80s hits. It seems that both bands rushed through their sets. Clearly, there was a time limit not allowing either band to go deep into their catalog. Something this die-hard Skynyrd fan was hoping for to celebrate 50 years from the release of Pronounced. The show was virtually a sell-out with few empty seats in the pavilion and the lawn packed tightly. An enjoyable evening for generations of fans.

I don’t think I’ll ever have more fun at any other concert than I have and will have at Big Time Rush concerts. They bring all the energy, production and vocals. You get the feel of a genuine connection and happiness not only from them but the crowd as well. They have such great music that will have you jumping up and down the whole concert—like I did— to the point of feeling like you’re gonna pass out. I could write a whole essay about them but that’s for another day. If you’re contemplating on going or not, hopefully this review will change your mind. Love you BTR!! See you at future concerts in MD!!!

If you need to go to a concert and don't know who to see, Big Time Rush will make it seem as if you realized you needed to see them! I was only 7 rows away from the stage and I had the best time of my life! They seriously know how to put on a show and it was an absolute blast! Venue security on the other hand was great! They were soft and gentle which I never experienced before! I will definitely come back to Merriweather again! Overall, amazing concert and 10000000/10 would recommend seeing Big Time Rush at any show if possible

What a lovely concert -- really enjoyed the different but compatible styles of all 3 acts. Garbage and Noel Gallagher were great. But I will be honest -- I could have just listened to and watched Metric all night and would have been happy :) Somehow Metrkc just hits my sweet spot. Thoughtful but with enough lightheartedness. Grand but real and intimate. Uplifting without being kitchy. And serious musicianship. Dark/heavy and lightness. I was glad for another chance to wallow in the world of Metric and also be introduced to (new to me) Garbage and Noel Gallagher

She Sounded & LOOKED EVEN MORE AMAZING. ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESS 💯 A GREAT Show. I had a Great time 😊 It was my 1st time seeing her LIVE. I was sold. Venue was ok. Nice merch 👍 Concession stand was RIDICULOUS But THEN Again majority of them usually Are NOTHING PRICE GOUGES CHARGING RIDICULOUS AMOUNTS FOR FOOD & DRINK. $57 DOLLARS FOR 1 FOOD ITEM & 3 DRINKS. That was kind of nauseating. No complaints OVER THE SHOW ITSELF

I don't know what was up, but there were no camera operators like there normally are to put together shots to display on the TV screens facing the lawn. So if you sat on the lawn you could barely see anything because it was just one camera on a tripod with the whole stage in a wide shot. You could barely see the band... It was good music to just lay back and stare at the sky since that's all you could do, and then the good dance songs were all at the end for everyone to dance to.

To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much for this show. That being said, I was SUPER impressed. There’s something about seeing someone perform that appears to really appreciate the audience and that interacts with them throughout the show. TALK was really vibing with the crowd, vibing with the band, and he made it super easy to really enjoy the show. Not to mention, he sounded fantastic and his band was great! I hope nothing but great things for this guy going forward because he seems to gets it and was all about making sure the audience saw a great show.

I bought a ticket for the Wille Nelson Outlaw concert for the sole intent of seeing LarkinPoe again. I just wish they were given a longer set to perform. I wish someone would have responded to my requests for a photo pass for the show so I could bring my pro body and lense in. I reached out to everyone for three months with no reply at all. ABSOLUTELY AMAZINGLY AWESOME!! This was my 7th concert with DD since 1984, 3rd at MPP. Everyone is as always AMAZING!! DD EQUALS LIFE for many of us "veteran" Duranies. The new songs from FUTURE PAST are quite relevant to the day. The great "oldies" and classics pulled up the most excellent memories of the vinyl and casette days. Always fun singing and "playing' along with DD while the youngsters nearby look mystified... Nick's creative sounds, Roger hammering the drums, John- PTFB JOHN!!, Simon sounds as good as ever. Dom, Anna, and Rachael are essential to the complete sound of DD. The videos playing in the background really was another most excellent touch. CHIC and Nile Rodgers are a great opener group, and the collaboration is a match made in heaven. The tribute to Ukraine was a heartfelt gesture, and WE ALL hope they will again find their ORDINARY WORLD. THANK YOU ALL for continuing to create and provide DD music. And, yes Simon, her name is....RIO!!

The workers were friendly and helpful. The weather was very good. The police made it a bit more difficult to get to the parking garages than it should have been by blocking access to roads you needed to turn on to. The food sold at the venue is less than inspiring. As for the show itself, it could have done without the person DJ'ing at the beginning, and Chic's set was a bit long (though good!), but Duran Duran were their normal energetic, amazing self. Backup singer Anna Ross has been with them for a while and is very good (especially on Come Undone, as always). Backup singer Rachael O'Connor is new. She was fun to watch and also brought great energy to the show. She handled the Tove Lo parts for Give It All Up. They needed to turn her mic up, as she was hard to hear. Simon's mic seemed a bit distorted and it seemed like some of the other vocal mics didn't work at all. The music came through loud and clear, however. Going with the Future Past theme, they had songs from their new album and a bunch from their first two (so no Paper Gods or Astronaut songs this time, unfortunately). Duran Duran is still the most fun live act in the business!

Duran Duran put on an absolutely excellent show, as always! I've seen then several times at various venues. They do an excellent job of playing a mix of old and new material. So whether you want reminded of the 80s, or you've followed their career, you'll be happy. And as always, Simon Le Bon is a fabulous frontman. This was my first time at Merriwether. I opted for lawn seats. My daughter and I were about an hour early, so we were able to get a choice of seating, but the front of the lawn was already full. We only took a blanket as I knew I'd stand through the whole show. I was able to see the stage fine (I am 5'10"). Plus there were two screens that often provided the better view. There was a wide variety of food, and a water station to refill your reusable bottle (must be empty coming in). Overall, a great experience!

Amazing! They played their greatest hits from the 80s and their new album released this year. They've become such mature, skilled musicians who've been through so much in life, which is reflected in their new songs and performance overall. The backup singer and keyboardist are wonderful. I haven't followed them in years and saw info on this concert while getting tickets for New Order. So glad I got tickets and I'd see them again. Garbage did a great job warming us up too.

Best concert i have ever been to!!! Thats saying alot bc im 43 and have been to alot of shows in my life lol I have wanted to see NF in concert the day i found his music and it exceeded all my expectations. He is an amazing performer and i love how he interacts with his fans. He is actually kinda hilarious too which was a pleasant surprise 😂 I went to the concert alone which was a first for me but the other fans i sat near instantly became friends. The NF fan base is so amazing and filled with genuine caring people. Cant wait for the next show!!!

this was my 7th time seeing tyler, the creator. i drove from virginia beach to see this show at the merriweather post pavilion, which was the coolest amphitheater i’ve ever been to. seriously, the architecture of that place is unmatched as far as i’ve seen. it’s huge, and this place was packed full of people. the crowd was mostly teens/young adults but it was very diverse and the energy was amazing. the IGOR show was an astounding experience and i’m glad i got the chance to see tyler in this form. the first time i saw tyler, i was 15 years old during the camp flog gnaw tour in 2012 at the NorVa in norfolk, va. i’ve been listening to and following tyler closely since the beginning of his career and it’s surreal to see how much he has developed and expanded as an artist. i feel as though i’ve grown with him and his music and it’s helped me in a lot of ways at various points in my life. every time i see tyler he puts on a better and better show. anyways, sorry for rambling. all i have to say is no matter what age or race you are or what background you come from, you will have a great time seeing tyler’s high-energy, genre-defying performance on the IGOR tour.
