The band was awesome as always, but the venue (Velvet Underground) left a lot to be desired as it was a relatively narrow floor plan with the only area someone could sit situated at the front and off to the right, out of the sight lines of the stage with a column blocking the view. I'll always follow the band and yes I will see them again (this was my third time seeing them, and it won't be my last) but I might have reservations should they choose that particular venue again.
Truly had a fantastic time. She is definitely very talented. Her voice, the way she performs is a promise of a star in making. I'm in my mid 30s and the crowd was quite young but was honestly not bothered at all...if anything they are a more respectful audience. No incident no pushing and invading personal space
The show was excellent. All ages, so we took our 10 year old for his birthday. He’s a huge fan. It should indicate for the venue whether it’s seating or standing only. We didn’t mind, but we’re surprised not to see it anywhere. The VIP meet and greet was amazing too!
Such a genuine person. I loved the story about her grandmother or her grandmother in law when she found out that her U.S. tour was canceled.
She said to Amy " so I guess they don't like you in America.
So honest!
Fantastic concert I was so fortunate to see her in that intimate venue.
Skratch Bastid put together a dynamic line-up of Toronto DJs that would be difficult for any other DJ to follow. But just when you thought the dance floor couldn’t get hotter, Skratch drops and mixes the freshest grooves and the energy level exploded. DJ Skratch Bastid is iconic. I always have to pinch myself that I can attend his shows in my hometown. Best NYE!
I was in love with the whole experience, I was so excited to learn a month ago that Rochelle Jordan was performing in toronto as her music is so beautiful and she DELIVERED. Her voice was incredible and her energy is so amazing and infectious! I got to meet her and DJ Chrysalis and both were so kind and shared in my excitement, I hope they come back to perform soon!
First time going to a concert of Shallou’s. Was a really fun and active experience. Spanning through many different eras of his music. He could have benefited with having his keyboard a little closer up to the front of the stage so that you could see him better but besides that I will definitely be going again when he comes back to Toronto.
Very solid performances from everyone and great song choice. "Servant to it" was my introduction to Mipso, so I was delighted that was the closing song of the night. My only complaint is they weren't on for long enough. There were still plenty of songs I was hoping to hear that they didn't get to
Hopefully, the enthusiasm of the Audience was enough to convince everyone in the band to come back here soon.
I loved it. I love high energy concerts. It just gets the blood pumping when you're around people that enjoy the same music as you and we're in the mosh pit together enjoying the artist. The opener (Sid Shyne) was extremely energetic and he managed to keep the crowd alive before Jeleel came on. If I had to describe the night it was like lighting a dynamite full of energy. Sid Shyne was the fuse, the dj (Curtains) was the match and Jeleel was the explosion.
This was completely a 5 star experience! Alexander is the sweetest person to all of his fans, and he is genuinely passionate about what he does, and gets excited on stage! The whole crowd knew all of the words to every one of his songs, and it was really amazing to witness. His songs are super relatable, and they have helped me through hard times. I would 100% recommend seeing one of his shows!

What a fantastic evening! Choirz was a really cool opener, Urban Heat were so dynamic! (New fan!!) Vision Video put in a fantastic show, their regular set was energetic and fun, their new song sounds awesome!! My feet hurt from dancing so much.
3 great bands at a great venue.
Solar Fake were amazing! They were high energy and I liked that when they played a selection of the songs from their new album, they amplified the energy compared to the album version. So many of the audience were dancing and singing along. I would definitely see them again.
The artist line-up was great, all that brought different but exciting vibes. They were energetic, funny, sweet, and interactive. The venue was packed with limiting seating, but there was a bar at the entrance and the sound system was great (I could feel the beat in my fingertips.) Since I was keen on seeing the artists close up, I stood for up to 4 hours at the front of the venue. People stood very close too each other and it became a bit like a mosh pit when the performances started. Just a bit of jostling, nothing dangerous and everyone checked up on each other. It can just be surprising and gross (lots of sweat) if you don't expect it. Still, the artists were well worth it! Love you, MIKE!
I'm sure the show was great, but you'd think that when something sells out so quickly the promoter would move it to a larger venue. Sadly, no such luck here so the scalpers and fraudsters had carte blanche to screw fans over, and this amazing duo played for maybe a third or quarter of the crowd that wanted to check this out.
Can't help but feel lucky I was there. Sound quality in the venue left a bit to be desired, but would I go see them again? Darn tootin'. We called for an encore, and they eventually came back out and unleashed the most violent, noise assaulting, groove forsaking beast you could ever dream of; hell of a denouement. Both bands, actually, were great live acts—Insect Ark are in their element up on a stage.
Impressive performance; do not hesitate to buy that ticket. I thought Velvet was a great fit for them; good size, conveniently located, and good opportunities for lighting design and video—which they used well. I was concerned about the sound because the last band I saw there made my head feel like it was banging around in a tin can, but this was an excellent experience.
Energy was on 100000% Vocalist is just as amazing in person. Sound was a little wonky at times (hard to hear the vocals) but I appreciate when a show is LOUD. Like thunder in the body. Opener Black Dress was wack, like tone-deaf. N3Ptune was much better, great energy.
absolutely unreal. nobody puts on a show like lauren sanderson. hands down best show i’ve been to in my life!!! the entire crew was great and very professional about things especially considering concerts are tricky waters to navigate right now. nothing but respect for lauren and the entire team. a 0 tolerance zone for judgement/bullying no matter WHO you are. all are welcome - and if you don’t like it you can find the door. she’s very very adamant about making this a point before she starts the show, and that’s another reason why i love her so much.
The show was cool & the vibes were amazing Chrissy & the band against the current was amazing they're just as good live as on their new Album most singers don't sound as good live as on CD but that's not true regarding Chrissy because she sounds amazing live
