Cambridge Corn Exchange

A masterful exhibition from the maestro Robert Cray and his exceptional band. Immersive to the point of mesmerising. A wonderful demonstration of an artist who plays and sings direct from the soul using the guitar as the tool that allows us all to immerse ourselves and share the workings of a genius mind. All this from a man in his seventies. If you consider yourself a connoisseur of really great music; Robert Cray should be high on your bucket list.

I love Squeeze but this gig was not their best. The setlist was in an odd order, surely you finish on one of your biggest hits? There was no encore. There were too many musicians on stage and the instruments drowned the vocals.

RT was in fine form, Zara Phillips stunning in a start-of-0tour premier gown, her voice was perfect, she even played a bit of guitar, as did Zack, RT's *grandson*. Well, *that's* tradition! Amazing bass, how sweet the sound. Oh, and my favorite drummer, Dave Mattacks. Great stuff. My only two questions: was that a Rickenbacker 12-string RT was playing on that Byrds-like song? And what was that song? It was great...they could do a Byrds cover album!

Great gig, Paul Weller never disappoints. A fantastic singer and musician. Venue really crowded, but that was to be expected at this popluar, sell-out concert. Would definitely go again if I'm lucky enough to get tickets in the future. I was super lucky this time as it was sold out in minutes. Venue is local to me so I knew what to expect. Beers a little pricey but I do like the venue. Staff are efficient, polite and friendly.

Top performance by the band Again, but the sound quality down the front was dreadful. The Corn Exchange is known for it, though, which is such a shame when you have a band as talented as Elvana.

Amazing gig from Dylan - destined to go right to the top. Had the crowd in the palms of her hands. Her performance had impressive energy from start to finish, Dylan’s ability to interact engagingly with the crowd between songs kept us all perfectly engaged. Can’t wait to see where Dylan’s career journey takes her.

Jordan Davis was brilliant. Such a shame people were so rude, kept on getting up and going to the bar. The bar should have been closed during the show, so that people that went to enjoy the concert, could have just done that. Perhaps those people should have just gone to a bar for the evening.

As always, a fantastic, fun, high energy show. Very disappointed that Tim Kubart(tambourine guy) wasn’t there, neither was Scott Bradlee himself or any of the other familiar faces from the videos. The four vocalists were astonishingly good, real talent. The musicians were fun and talented and the tap dancer was enjoyable. The seats at the Cambridge Corn Exchange were rather uncomfortable after an hour, we really needed an interval so we could get up and relieve the pressure. Would definitely go again.

Euphoric! There is nothing like a Self Esteem gig. People may compare her to Lady Gaga or Madonna… having seen both I can say without question this lady is neither of these artists, she’s unique and she’s better. Her words, her voice, her connection with the crowd is on another level. Her band are all insanely good & compliment her so perfectly. You can see and feel the relationship they have and it transfers to everyone in the room. You’ll be crying one minute and popping off the next. Who can get a crowd dancing around with unabandoned joy on a Sunday or Monday night? Self Esteem can and she does it with ease. Rebecca Lucy Taylor truly is an icon of female empowerment. Long may she reign.

KT stopped after a song and noticed people were sat behind massive pillars (those people were me and my dad) and she got us to come down and sit at the front… best night of my life and I’m still shocked that it even happened 🥲

Great to finally see Atreyu live and didn’t disappoint. In fact i think you performed better than the other two acts and was a shame you opened and got such a short set. Would have loved to see you play more of the older tracks i grow up listening to you play.

The show wasn’t too bad but when did Matt get so arrogant that he cant even remember playing here. Twice Matt! This is now the third time you’ve played there and to make a comment like “don’t think we’ve played here before, maybe we have but fuck it” is never going to go down well with local fans.

Brilliant performance by Johanna, Klara and the band. Their acoustic session including a tribute to Christine McVie, a rendition of Songbird, was particularly poignant and emotional for the whole audience. A great night which included all of the favourites Wolf, Emmylou, Lion’s Roar, Silver Lining, Out of My Head, Angel and Wild Horses II . A wonderful night and worth the near 70 mile drive back to South Essex. Dave

Never ever missed a tour but this was an absolutely Fantastic gig, best ever love them for amazing music big fun great show . Cambridge venue had brilliant acoustic which added to the whole evening thank you all

Totally and utterly brilliant band. Amazingly talented musicians and genuine lovely chaps. Brooke Combe as the support was also brilliant. Venue was pretty crowded as expected, but that is to be expected with the band's huge following. Just loved every minute.

Unaware of the support, The Twang were a cool bonus!. I loved their first debut 'Love it when I feel like this', and I hadn't seen them live. Did not disappoint!. Having seen Shed Seven only once before, back in the day! I was happy to see they still had it 20 something years on!. They Owned It!!!
