OVO Arena Wembley

I was hugely disppointed that Garbage cancelled a couple of years ago when they were supposed to tour with Blondie. As it happens, it worked out well. They headlined their own tour this time and having been a fan for amny years, I finally got to see them. The support came from up and coming Scottish band Lucia and the Best Boys and the interesting and unsusual Jehnny Beth. Garbage delivered two and a half hours of blistering Rock. The band isbrilliant at producing alsmost studio quality sound live and fronted by Shirley's soaring vocals suffused with power and menace. Many of their songs are angry about something or other and always thought provoking. Shirley had a lot to say, and her position on women in the music industry is forthright and backed by her actions. The support bands were both fronted by women. She also mentioned that they were terrified of performing in London as they had always felt their performances here had been "duds". Not this time. They were so excited by the reaction they were getting that they ran slightly over time. I am sure they would have gone on for longer if they could. I felt royally entertained and provoked in equal measure. With an eighth album being worked on I can only hope they return to London soon. I will be in the audience when they do.

We give our experience 5 stars due to the fantastic music and atmosphere created by the artists on the stage. We have an amazing time with our children. The performance was filled with positive energy and Andre's great sense of humour when talking to the audience. Really wonderful and we highly recommend anyone appreciating his work who hasn't seen Andre and his musicians live to buy tickets before they sell out. What a treat indeed. However, we feel it is important to note that the staff employed at the venue who we encountered were not particularly helpful. We planned to travel to Wembley by public transport. However, at the last moment, due to an incident involving trespassing on railway tracks, all the trains were cancelled, and we had to call a cab. We arrived at the venue 20 minutes late and when we asked a lady marshal to help us find our seats, she pointed us to the direction and turned back to continue looking at the stage and happily swinging and smiling while enjoying the music. We attempted to find our seats but quickly realised we couldn't and went back to the lady asking for help again. She wasn't pleased and, while asking us to keep quiet, she called a colleague to show us to our seats. The person uttered, under his nose, an f word and, not able to hide his annoyance, walked us to our section and pointed to the seats. Other than that, once more, what a fantastic and enlightening performance, including the bull chasing the terrified lady in red! Thank you to Andre and all the people that made the show possible, including the cooks :)

Judas Priest were fantastic. Uriah Heep and Saxon were also impressive. As a Judas Priest fan, for me they were simply amazing. Halford keeps going and they took me back in time forty years ago, and then back to the present times with the two songs from Invincible Shield. Fantastic! Shame about the venue though, pretty much below average. And the gents toilets were an absolute disgrace. I really hope I never have to go to OVO Wembley Arena again.

Epic show all 3 bands brought it. Especially Saxon who got the crowd whipped into a frenzy before Priest even took the stage. running and jumping around the stage like they were still teenagers. Judas Priest themselves were epic, lost track of Rob's jacket changes. My throat is still sore from trying to sing along how that man sing like that after so long is nothing short of supernatural. Bottom line if you get the chance to see any of these bands grab it with both hands.

Even though Vessel lost his voice midway through the gig, the fact that thousands of audience members were singing along through the set was emotional and cathartic. The whole evening, for me, was filled with great memories and a sense that Sleep Token is more than just a band, they are an enigma and a beacon of hope for a world that just doesn't care. A place where emotions can be set free and a point in time where energy is at a spiritual level. This is a band that I can proudly say I worship.

As a big fan of Till, I had been looking forward to this for months! I certainly was not disappointed, this guy has showman running all through him! I was in a wheelchair, but I had a great view from the wheelchair platform and the sound quality was excellent, not only for Till, but also for both support bands. Till did a great, energetic set, he clearly seemed to be enjoying himself. The rest of the band were awesome and gave everything they had to the performance! 5/5 from me!

This is the third time I’ve seen Greta . Superb band and good to see them experimenting with their live show, and great it’s a good deviation from listening to a studio album in your sitting room. The pre show orchestral medley was a good touch. It almost worked as the music lends itself superbly to orchestral arrangement as it does to an acoustic set as perfectly demonstrated by their ‘left field’ unexpected acoustic pop up stage and intimate interaction with the crowd, but the orchestral production could have been better. The staging, lighting and pyrotechnics were impressive as was the musicianship. As a young and developing band I admired the experimental eclectic mix of their showmanship but I feel they need to tidy up a bit. The multiple long guitars solos were too prominent and came across as self indulgent. It left the audience wanting for more of the outstanding new album and the classic tracks that have launched Greta. We all love a guitar solo, but shorter and fewer and they wouldn’t have lost the audiences interest. Overall though a great night out and fabulous music and as the band mature they will find their balance of artistic expression and delivering what many of the fans have paid their money to hear, Josh’s incredible voice and phenomenal music.

One of the best Tamil concerts that I have been to. Sid Sriram really is right now one of the best Tamil singers out there in Tamil cinema. In person he sounds amazing. His voice is incredible. No stop singing and I have waited years to see him live and it was worth the long wait. He played his greatest hits songs such as Ennodu Nee Irundhaal , Maruvaarthai Pesathey, Kannaana Kanney, Ennadi Maayavi Nee and Adiye.

I rarely give high stars as there’s always something they could do better, here though the PSB’s were fantastic, the sound engineers were spot on. Neil sounded like Neil! The let downs we’re the toilets, blocked urinals & the rip off cider cans that were warm! £7.75 a can & not even chilled. The staff had the excuse book of BS ready when I complained.

Other than it ending same time as Harry styles at wembley stadium and causing major chaos after the show.. it was perfect! One republic is my absolute favorite band and my only wish was that the show was longer.. can’t get enough of them.. I’m from NY and have seen them many times all over the world and they never disappoint!

Firstly let me say motionless we’re just incredible! Staff were also incredible we can’t thank them enough! What let it down was the people, we were next to a dude that was like 6ft tall and matching in width, he did nothing but try and separate me and my friend, even putting himself between us, he elbowed me in the face on purpose, the band gave out roses for their signature song and we caught on and he ripped the head off of it and smiled about it, we tried to say to him look we don’t want to be split up and he just did more to do it, even his girlfriend was saying to him no that’s not fair and he didn’t care, we asked staff if they could help get another rose and told them what this man did and they didn’t want to or couldn’t help help, I think the 2 or 3 staff members we asked didn’t want to help that’s the only down side we had!

Wow 🤩! Had the time off my life. His so energetic! Yungblud & co are awesome 👏 and a definite must go to event. My daughter and myself have been to many concerts together! So sorry 😞 MGK! You rocked. Your show at Wembley was outstanding 👏😝 Yungblud tonight was the best ever… thank you for an amazing, awesome night Yungblud! Dude your just fucking sick mate… my daughter has been to 3 of your concerts now! This was my first, you appeared at MGK, which was awesome 🤩 ! btw! I couldn’t believe it! Was a nice bonus. Both my daughter’s have met you, say your genuinely a nice geezer. You also showed my baby daughter such respect ✊ by posting her picture of you, she painted , on your tick-tock! Fans! Gotta go see , if you can afford to go this fantastic, energetic beautiful yung man x seriously! Go! I can’t wait for next time…. Just bloody brilliant 🤩 Fucking sick! First time I’ve seen them since the Disintegration Tour back in 1988ish.. I’m a lot older, Robert is a lot older.. but The Cure are still great!! The first half is mostly deep cuts and really for the serious fans.. it’s great.. but then they bring out the hits for the second half and the 2 encores and it’s bloody amazing With Mick Lynch and the weather making getting there really hard, and the prices of refreshments at the venue utterly shocking, I was a bit concerned.. but licking the band were brilliant

Fantastic concert. Supporting band was excellent. The Cure played a 3-hour set. Sound quality was brilliant, the lighting was fantastic, the overall show was exceptional. The band was really tight. They played really well together and their performance was polished and well rehearsed. Robert Smith sounded phenomenal. He was funny, humble and grateful, like an accidental legend. It's amazing how much hair he still has, considering the abuse he's put it through. The new material is brilliant and I can't wait for the new albums to be released (no, I really can't wait, so hurry up). The song Robert wrote for his brother who recently died is absolutely beautiful). Seeing The Cure has been on my bucket list for more than 30 years and it was worth the wait!!

Great music crap venue. I broke my own rule of not attending Wembley Arena but as the band were only playing one show in Britain, it had to be done. Not enough treble in the sound and as I was three quarters of the way back from the stage, there was such a delay between sound and vision. However the band were excellent and the songs from the new album sparkled and crackled. Standouts were Herd Culling and Anesthetize.

Staggering performance! This show was first scheduled for April 2020; finally, in November 2022, it finally happened and we weren’t disappointed. From the opening tune, 22 (Over s**n) , with Justin teasing with the digibox to the glorious ending of Naeem, we were treated to a masterclass of supreme talent! Every tune sounds better live than on record, except Skinny Love, which sounds the same as Justin performs acoustic with huge assistance from the audience, who , I have to say, were respectful and well behaved throughout. The show ends with huge applause and Justin stating “we had a long time to decide whether this is what we wanted to do with our lives” “turns out it was”! The entire audience were delighted that this was the case. The Encore of Blood Bank and RABi sent everyone out into the mild autumn Wembley evening feeling very happy with the show!

The show was entertaining, the effects of the stage and lighting were amazing. The way MGk performed hits from Mainstream sell out - tickets to my downfall to Hotel Diablo was incredible. Waited since the album Bloom came out back in 2017 to see MGK perform, had tickets for Reading last year and ALT London just to see MGK. MGK couldn't make it because of covid, I loved every second of it especially when Yungblud came out. I cannot wait for MGK next UK tour, I would've gone to Leeds first direct arena on the 6th of October 2022 but because of Railway strikes I can't get there. However when MGK does come to the UK 🇬🇧 I'll come see him again and again.

Olly Alexander your still the cutest sweetest talented young man who has a side of innocence and the voice of an angel so much talent and a polished show he is happiest on stage and he was born for this he even mentioned his mum in the audience tonight He’s come a long way but I don’t want him to become just a money making commodity for all the sharks in the business like many stars Avicii for one he would not be able to cope he’s lovely the atmosphere totally electric and everyone was dancing and singing absolutely amazing olly your incredible

I first saw Steely Dan in 1974 at the Rainbow so you could say I’m a fan! I have seen them each time they have toured, this particular band is the best yet, they have a superhuman drummer in Keith Carlock and. Brilliant guitarist in Jon Harrington the rest of the band’s pretty good as well The cherry on the cake was when they brought on Elliott Randall for the encore of “reeling in the years” Even Donald Fagan seemed relaxed and enjoying it, more chatty than usual A truly magical musical evening, roll on the next time By the way, my first time at the arena, not impressed, lack of seating room Next time please the O2!
