Storm Large concerts are a unique experience. She is captivating. Her vocal range and nuance is stunning. She draws the audience in with the power of her voice and her playful and genuine presentation. Her rapport with the audience is central to the experience. She shares herself fully with us.
A comment on the sound. Her voice was very clear, but the volume of the piano accompaniment at times drowned out her vocals. It's a small venue and the piano at times easily overwhelmed the space.
Great venue and great show. 2nd time seeing Steve with my wife. A fun filled evening with lots of laughs. My only request that he refrain from lyrics/comments about gizzum and popcorn on his lap. Yuck
GREAT! I have not enjoyed a concert this much in a very long time!
I am 70, and the songs brought back many, good memories of times long ago.
And, the new, patriotic songs were touching and beautiful. The songs for Apollo 13 and for Arlo Guthrie were great!
The guys were charming and talented. They obviously enjoyed themselves and shared the enjoyment with the audience.

What a wonderful concert. I have been waiting a while to hear Emmet Cohen live and it was well worth the wait. He plays with such "Joy" in each and every song. I will be watching Emmet and his trio again this Friday night on the SFJazz live feed.
Great band, fantastic musicians, lots of energy. The audience was really into the music, clapping and stomping along with the band. This was my first time in this space and it will not be my last - just the right size, felt both intimate and spacious, with a great view of the band from any seat. The food and drink selection was excellent, and very reasonably priced: a pint of good craft beer for $8! If you get a chance to see this band go for it. If you get a chance to see a performance in this venue, go for it. All in all a very enjoyable night out!
Drew & the White Album Ensemble coming together is like all your birthdays & Christmases & the Fourth of July all rolled into one. It’s Beatley heaven. The happiest place on Earth!☮️❤️🪲🎶
Top tier virtuosity from each member of this amazing Quintet. Some of the best musicianship I have enjoyed in my 70 plus years of life. Kudos to the group for such a generous, iconic performance.
Spectacular show. It’s been a long time since I’ve been so move by a band’s performance. Incredible attention to detail for Tom Petty’s repertoire. When I see a show like this, I usually want to go home and listen to the real thing because I wasn’t satisfied with what I just heard, but I really had the feeling that I just went to a great Tom Petty show! Excellent.
These guys ROCK! When they play either their own music or the events where they cover Tom Petty, they are awesome.

Wonderful evening at the Kuumbwa with Peter Cincotti. Cincotti has been a favorite for years who doesn't come to the west coast often. What a treat to enjoy world class musicianship, fun entertainment in a comfortable, quality setting at a reasonable price!
Grace Kelly and her band were absolutely phenomenal. The music was spectacular from the amazing skill to the variety. Grace's open and honest personality on stage is perfect for the intimate venue of the Kuumbwa. My friend and I felt incredibly lucky that we got to hear and see Grace live in such a a wonderful venue. We immediately purchased four of her albums.
And hats off to the Kuumbwas staff and volunteers. Wonderful people, lovely space, and great food.
Can't wait for the next show.
I had seen John about a decade ago with a strictly Gypsy Jazz combo with a couple of rhythm guitarists. The make-up of the current quintet significantly expands the repertoire and depth of musicianship. By changing up styles, tempo, and even instruments, John kept the show fresh and engaging. The pianist, violinist and bassist are all wizards of their instruments.
As always Amy, accompanied by Dan Littleton, Adam Minkoff and Tony Mason put on an awesome show. And Kuwamba Jazz Club is such an intimate venue.
I left NY 3 years and now reside in Colorado. The one thing I miss the most (besides NY Pizza) was visiting Levon's Barn up in Woodstock. I used to see Amy 5-10 times per year, along with the many talented "barn" adjacent musicians. It was delightful to see her in Santa Cruz.
Keep it Going!!!
