Amazing! Dan is a wonderful human! His songs and his voice and his guitar playing. He is humble and funny and just what so many of us needed for our souls.
Al sounded great. Band was terrific. Music selection was a little disappointing. I don’t believe he played his best songs. Overall, the show was very entertaining.
What an incredible show. Danielle shares her soul with every note she sings. Her band is fantastic. The guitar and drum solos take you back to when music was real.
So one of the epic icons of the 1970s rock era comes to the intimate Soiled Dove Underground, fifty years after he and Kenny Loggins rocked out to sold out arenas. What did we expect? Exactly what he delivered. A great collection of incredible songs played with the best blend of studio talent, led by a genius songwriter and top of the world performers! Way to go, Soiled Dove, and way to go Jim Messina!
Fantastic show, especially if you lived at and through that era in SoCal.
JD has lost a little bit of that fantastic voice but no matter, the stories about and simple presentation of his famous and not-so-famous songs was worth 5 times the ticket price.
I was fortunate to catch both Seattle shows at The Triple Door
JD was in fine form. Loved hearing the stories. The music was awesome. It's so nice to hear them done by the guy who wrote them. Could have played longer. But still a very enjoyable show.
Jon put on an absolutely amazing show! What a talent to watch! His performance was seamless and charismatic - every song so incredibly beautiful. As an audience, he kept us engaged not only with his music, but with his sharp wit and storytelling. As a long time fan of his, I'll never forget this show! I can't wait for him to come back to Denver!
What an absolutely incredible show. Jim’s songs have such a range on emotion, from funny and witty to pull on your heartstrings, fight back the tears touching, and when it’s live, that’s all amplified. What Jeremy and the Jons add musically is matched by the humor and fun they bring with the stage banter. This is by far the can’t miss show of the year.
We have experienced Jessy J and her music on several occasions in several venues over the past 10 years or so, twice at the Soiled Dove Underground Denver. We have always really enjoyed her performances.
Brilliant. Simply brilliant. & nothing simple about it. 🤩 If someone in the audience shouted out a song, Glen would start right up & though he may have said “this one be may need some practice”, it would be amazing.
Old songs, new album, some Toad sing a longs, and witty commentary, he could play all night and still be as interesting as the 1st few minutes. Does he have a podcast? He should. I could listen for weeks.
He is kind, modest, funny. And as his friend Garrison mentioned, too smart for the majority of us, understandable every 18th word.
Keep it going, Glen. You have amazing talent.
Freaking unbelievable! Been listing to his music since the 90s and had the opportunity to see him perform live. What an honor. Completely loved it. And he’s so nice, I got the amazing opportunity to chat with him and take a pic.
Venue was great and music was even better. Stephen puts on such an energetic, funny and heartfelt show. I've seen him so many times and plan to keep it up!
An incredible performance, Sophie put on an amazing show as usual. Loved her version of "I Want You" her first time from the drum kit in years. It was a really special night.
He makes some of the saddest music you will ever hear and it is absolutely beautiful and enchanting to hear live. This show was incredible, just like the last show he did at The Soiled Dove Underground right before the pandemic. 10/10 would recommend, and I’ll definitely see him again next time he’s in Colorado.
It’s hard to describe how enjoyable the combination of Chris Knight and the Soiled Dove can be. It’s such an intimate setting and Chris is so funny. We book tickets to these shows every time they’re announced and we always leave feeling like it was our favorite show ever.
Great concert. Not often I get to see a Newfie playing here in Colorado. When he played Laying down to perish it was an emotional rush that sweep over the audience. Thank you Alan Doyle you made my day great.
The show started slowly with 3 tunes I didn’t recognize and that, in my opinion, just didn’t have anything compelling about them. The next 3 tunes were from Argus and were done extremely well. The band then took a break and came back rocking and jamming. The 2nd set was superb, high energy and had the crowd on its feet a few times. Vocals were strong for the most part. Overall, great show and lots of fun.
My sister threatened to disown me if I did not attend the show and Howie gave such an incredible performance that before the night was through, I bought a ticket for the next night he was playing. His voice is even better live than on his albums.
Amazing show! I enjoyed hearing her for the 1st time; her music is so impactful. She gave it her all, but @ moments it seemed like she didn't know what to do w/ the intimate crowd. Nonetheless everyone stayed engaged & it was a total shared experience. Really great!
Sawyer Fredericks ALWAYS gives us an amazingly soulful performance! This is a perfect venue to showcase Sawyers incredible talent as a true American story teller. I enjoyed his performance and look forward to seeing him again live in the future!
