Windmill Brixton

Went to all three shows for the Ratboys Windmill Weekend. Each one (with somewhat different setlists) better than the last, awesome little venue to see them in, great support acts, and super bummed out that the weekend is over. Come back to London asap!

The man is a goddamn genius. Dylan to Dylan Thomas. A troubadour. A folk singer. A cowboy. Willi is the man we didn’t know we needed for these times. Go see him.

They take their shirts off: that's enuf innit? Oh and they play tunes about being stuck indoors to a brutal rhythm, sung with menace and a balaclava

The Windmill is great, not many venues where you can stand at bar and be within spitting distance of the band, which we were. Warmduscher were brilliant, whole set was high energy and really great. Band were also really nice to talk to after gig, they even signed a set list for me. Brilliant night.
