We traveled 4 hours to see this show and it was delicious as expected! As someone who discovered they can't live without W.A.S.P. later in life, its like a gift that they're touring the US again period. This time around it was great to experience all of album 1, live and in order. The vibe, the vocals, Blackie's wit, the captivating rhythms and passionate wails. Truly a feast for the senses! I'm already excited to see what they'll come up with for the next tour!
This was a great Halloween concert! The Agora was a great venue, it was packed but not overly crowded. The whole crowd was down in the pits and loved every minute of the show. I loved all the bands but i will say i was very pleased with the bittersweet revenge set. But everyone knows i went there for Mushroomhead and the headliners did not disappoint. It was an absolutely amazing show with a great setlist of classic hits and new drops. I will go there every single time they do this show moving forward. Thank you, to every single person in the production! It was a blast!
The Warning:
1) Excellent
2) Showmanship off the charts even with a smaller size crowd.
3) I was lucky enough the be selected to receive an autographed set list, a couple of picks, and a sticker. Handed to me by Rudy (their friend and manager) personally. Just WOW.
The Agora:
1) The venue's sound system isn't capable of producing the sound pressure levels needed by bands that depend on the venue for this. The sound was distorted and muddy. At a lower level. it would have been much better but, who can you blame? Lighting was smallish but adequate.
2) The main theater is very attractive inside. And even with the number of shows they do, it was clean. We had box seats on the front rail so our view was perfect.
3) I really appreciated that we were able to purchase merchandise right away and they had a 'Merch Check' table where for 5 bucks you could leave your purchases and pick them up after. That's the way to do it!
4) The staff was awesome! Friendly and professional.
5) Lots of parking and for 20 bucks, completely worth it!
The Area:
1) Not good! We stayed at a hotel 1/3 of a mile from the Agora. Overnight, 17 cars were vandalized to the point where most were not drive-able. Our car is still in Cleveland and we are back in Green Bay. Of course the hotel didn't offer anything for our inconvenience. Took a star away for this.
2) Do not stay in East Cleveland! Even the tow truck driver looked at us funny and asked, "Why did you stay there?"
3) Stay in a hotel downtown. The higher rack rates are worth it!
All said and done, we had a great vacation. The Warning was great. There were cool places to visit. Check out The Noble Beast brewery.
This concert was one of the best I have seen in a long time! The warm up band was great and Larry Fleet was amazing and his band was very good musicians. The venue was very nice we had seats in the upper mezzanine on the front row and it was great. Larry is one of the most cool people because at the end of the concert Larry stayed and signed autographs for fans and as the band played for over 25 minutes. The only issue was the app of axs would not load my tickets the app would not work but the venue was great they were able to pull up my tickets with the credit card I used to purchase them and saved the night!!!
Excellent show. Christopher Cross has a very iconic voice and he brought it with him. His band was solid and his backup singers were very smooth.
The Agora is a beautiful theater. I sat in the lower bowl which puts you close to the stage but also forces you to tilt your head back as the stage is close to 5’ from the floor. I sat next to a bunch of drunk Jack wagons who wouldn’t shut up. Luckily they left their seats for the bar after 2 songs.
I’d give the show 5 pink flamingos!
Been over 5 years since the last time I saw Babymetal! Kinda crazy.
But everyone was awesome to see, from Jason Richardson, Babymetal & Dethklok (didn't even know they were a real band till recently 😃)
Babymetal knows how to bring their energy and Kawaii quirkiness 😝. Jason shredded it up and tuned it down real nice & heavy. Dethklok slayed the whole venue, everyone went wild like it was a huge regular touring band! Makes sense since it was a part of a lot our childhoods or past favorite Adult Swim cartoons. It was dope/surreal seening the show play on the screen with the live music 😵.
Would definitely recommend and I'd love to see them all again!
Mod is amazing both in concert and as a human being!! He took so much time to talk to me at the CLE show and truly listened and engaged in our convo, gave me a big hug and told me to go stand in the front row!!! It was one of the best nights of my life and it wasn’t my first time seeing Mod live—he is legit the best I’ve seen and I’ve been going to concerts since age 8!! He gives his absolute all into his shows, and his positivity and love shines through, making the vibe amazing! Plus, the cost of his tickets—-both times I got front row—$25—what other artist is willing to do that!??? And he could be charging $500+ for those tix but he truly loves his supporters and what he’s up there doing! Don’t miss him!!! He’s the very best ! Thanks again, Mod!!!!💚
The venue, layout and staff were top notch, excellent and the show started right on time without delay. FLA was awesome (as usual) with killer projected images, but unfortunately, I thought their mix was a bit too loud without the necessary levels required for separating and articulating the various channels (love their layered synth lines), so the tracks seemed somewhat muddy compared to how I know them to be. Regardless, fantastic performance by Leeb, Fulber & crew! Numan’s mix was slightly softer but with spot on board levels… audio quality was absolutely amazing! His tracks were also very well composed and arranged. The whole set was professionally choreographed and presented… very fluid and sophisticated with superb lighting and visual effects. For 65yrs old, Gary just flat out rocked! Al was, well… just Al being his notoriously captivating and talented self lol You know, his usual loud, proud and in your face aggressive high octane assault that cranks to “13” and stays there the entire set... wildly entertaining, nonetheless. He did nod to Gary’s early influence in his career and brought him out for a Fad Gadget cover as an encore. Well done, Al! Overall, fantastic show, definitely worth the time and price of admission.
Legitimately one of the worst crowds I’ve ever been apart of. Incredibly rude even during very quiet parts of the show. Thankfully he was graceful enough to not get bogged down by it. I don’t know if it’s coming out of Covid but the loud conversations at shows lately have been a real bummer. I’ve often wondered while people would spend so much on transportation, parking, tickets, drinks, merch, dress up - all just to have loud, stupid fucking conversations. I suppose it’s indicative of the level of inequality where people have money and time to blow on something they don’t even care about, alienating actual fans from enjoying themselves. Do better Cleveland. Great performance regardless
I'm unfamiliar with the opener Capra (hardcore band) they sounded alright, not my drink of choice but okay.
Currents came on which is who I came for, but they were missing their lead singer.
I don't know what happen, so the screamer Christian Pulgarin had to take the vocal throne for himself Saturday.
And he KILL IT!
At first it was disappointing not having their full potential/sound, especially since he had to hold back during the 1st half, as to not over work himself. But that 2nd half was as good as you'd want it to be!!
Then Killswitch did there thing as good as I expected from a band with their following. I'm not as familiar with Killswitch or a big fan, but damn..😳 should've been! They're show was 🔥
and now I'm definitely a fan 🤘
Couldn't have asked for a better 1st concert. They were absolutely fantastic. My love for them will be forever, no matter what direction they take their sound. I wish I never moved from the bottom floor cuz then I would've been able to see Johnny really close. However, from where I finally stayed at the view of the stage and the band was optimal. Great performance guys. I will definitely see yall again whenever yall come back through Cleveland!!!

Everyone brought there A Game!!!
This was the first time seeing all bands expect 3rd for Bad Omens. Saw Bad Omens since the '10 Years in Black' @ Agora '16 amazing show too.
Especially Cournety of Spiritbox, from my understanding she was either recently sick or had vocal issues before the show. She had to rest I between songs but they've never canceled and done plan on it! Yet Cournety was still distorting the sound barrier in the room.
I have heard of all the bands but I only can talk about Bad Omens and to an extent Spiritbox.
But everyone was vibing at the end!
'Stray from the Path' did a great job hyping up the crowd with energetic atmosphere. as well as a dressing some of the elephants in the room 👏
'Bad Omens' took that momentum and threw in big choruses varying tones and the best 👌 of Bad Omens Breakdowns.
The torch was transfered to 'Spiritbox', so that we may contact to the "otherside" using Courtney's lows as a conduit!
But she has one other worldly singing range from low growls to angelic melodies. Those lows are indeed worth for a vocal tool or weapons btw 🖤 ❤
Then of course the headliners 'Underoath' had taking a bit of everything and throw us through another ride!
I've never seen Annie or St. Vincent live and wanted to see what the buzz was about. I was completely blown away. The stage show complimented the music and enhanced the overall vibe.
Annie is a great guitar player and lately she's suppressed her leads to fit the sound of recent albums, but this show allowed her enough space to show off her licks.
The group was in lockstep and sound was fantastic. I'd like to go see another show on the tour👍
The show was at the Cleveland Agora, this was a sold out show with a buzz in the air of excitement. The show started out with an overdriven audio issue during Light the Torch set and was resolved a few songs into their set. August Burns Red played shortly after and had an awesome set, they played a few songs off their new album and sime of old.
They alone could have been the headliner. Killswitch Engage took the stage with energy and passion as the performed older songs and the new. Jesse's voice sounded awesome. The guitar riffs and lyrics brought back many memories. When Howard took the Stage near the end the audience loved every note he belted out. It was sad to see the concert end but yet we witnessed an amazing night of music. This is a must see tour.
Completly Amazing. They are always fantastic.
Crazy People really cool in the crowl....in fact, the craziest that I 've never seen before!
Both band were so great and I Will always remember their energy and their excellent attitude toward their fans.. I liked to see Sabaton's singer to give his glasses to a kid and I liked that we got the chance to take pictures with Hammer Fall! So generous from them after an intensive show like that! Thank you if you read me! Thanks everybody too for that exeptional moment all together!
Fun day all around!
Parking was easy, and they allowed our very mellow "tail-gating" -- we drank a couple beers and ate a snack among the three cars and four humans, while sitting in camp chairs.
Entry was easy. They carded us and searched bags while we were still in line, so getting in was a piece of cake.
Show was amazing. High-energy and super tight. Set list varied a bit from other shows I've seen on this tour, so that was refreshing.
After the show, most of both the opening band (Lawrence Arms) and Bad Religion were outside by the backstage door to shake hands, sign autographs, take photos, and talk.
Really great experience.
This was a great show! 7th time seeing Modest Mouse and heard Mass Gothic for the first time. I fell in love with Mass Gothic and listen to them quite often. They mix joy and anguish in a way that is rare and unparalleled! Modest Mouse were also great, although they (Isaac) played a not-so-listenable version of Whale Song. Shit In Your Cut was a standout, as was Tiny Cities. They played 2 or 3 separate encores, meaning left the stage, came back, left, came back, etc. Pretty sure Isaac was hammered.
Everybody was good except for Sleeping with Sirens. Their sound wasn't good compared to the openers before them. And Good Charlotte was excellent. The Dose sounded like Korn but a lot better in my opinion and Knuckle Puck put on a good show also the audience was booming when Knuckle Puck and Good Charlotte came on I was totally surprised that the audience wasn't to fond of Sleeping with Sirens since there were plenty of people wearing their shirts. But Sleeping with Sirens is the worst performance I've seen at a concert and I thought Kayne West was bad they did not sound anywhere near as good as me and plenty of people thought.
I don’t go to a lot of shows anymore. Admittedly, at 34, I’m becoming a grumpy old man who would rather listen to music at home while drinking 1-too-many IPAs. But, I will now get off my couch every time The War on Drugs comes within 150 miles of Columbus, Ohio.
I like a lot of music but have recently found that not everyone I listen to can put on a good show. These guys did. Music, lights, energy; everything was on point.
Also, the Agora Theatre was a perfect setting for such a night. Last night’s show was the perfect way to celebrate my 14th anniversary.
Thanks!
