This was the start of my favorite segment of life! This was my first Winter Jam, and it was AMAZING! I loved seeing Skillet since they’re a childhood favorite of mine, I loved seeing Kevin Quinn for the first time, and Colton Dixon wasn’t on my list of favorites because I thought I didn’t know who he was… until I heard the music. He turned out to be a favorite of mine before I even knew who he even was! I was out doing my business and unfortunately missed his entire show other than Miracles, if it wasn’t for that, I probably wouldn’t be able to say he’s my favorite singer, a friend of mine, and writing this review! I can’t wait to see him and Skillet again in 2025!
I love Winter Jam, and I love the lineup, but I had to go to the show in OKC because A) I wasn’t with my parents for this and it just felt wrong without them. And B) the main band I went to see wasn’t there (CAIN). I loved seeing Katy Nichole though! This was my first time seeing her, and I can’t wait to see her again! I’m just happy I didn’t miss her after I missed more than half of the show waiting in line for the burger that’s dryer than the Sahara Desert and fries that I get every time I go to the BOK Center. Ok… that might’ve been too much info that you didn’t need to know. Overall, great show!
Was crying, laughing, and screaming all in the same concert. I have loved Hozier for 10 years and I love him every single day still. Bought tickets for Tulsa AND OKC and am so excited to see this lovely human again. So fulfilling and sweet so see an artist you have wanted to see since you were a child finally at 26 years old. Love you guys.
One of the best, most awsome concerts we have been to! You boys were so connected with the crowd that we actually felt like family! We love your music! We felt christ there with us! Already bought tickets for the concert again in November at okc, oklahoma!!! Please please please! Come back to Enid oklahoma to the Stride Center! See ya soon!! Mr.& Mrs. Richard ,Euvonna Pecha.
Great music, but the light show and visuals were excessive to the point of detracting from the overall experience. Good lighting/visuals can elevate music, especially in a large venue where much of the audience is really far away from the stage, but these were so intense that it made it hard to focus. I ended up closing my eyes for a good chunk of the show just to be able to enjoy the music.
AWESOME show with three GREAT performers (Zach Williams and Toby Mac opened)!! My first time to see each of them and they were an incredible package together. We're in our early 60's and have been to a zillion classic rock shows so we certainly know a good show from mediocre or even bad one, but that was NOT the case here for sure!!
First ever Paramore concert, my parents surprised me with tickets just a few hours before the concert, I had given up all my savings to try and afford the tickets for my dad and me, and the day of the concert, ticket prices dropped just enough for us to go, cried a few times admittedly, best concert I've ever been too, my dad hadn't realized at first just how much it meant to me until "Still into you" began, he told me he promises one day he'll save up for us to get "floor tickets instead of the nosebleeds".
Muscadine Bloodline did a good job of opening the show, Old Crow was entertaining, but Turnpike was outstanding. Their shows are an experience, the crowd is on their feet through the entire show and most are singing along on every song. They are really tight and crisp on every song for the entire show. If you haven’t seen them, you should!
Carrie was amazing. I love her voice, her music and performance. She is very talented. She showed her fans how much she appreciated them. We got to see her get emotional talking about how blessed she is with her career and family. Carrie definitely deserves the entertainer of the year award. She is the best female artist of all time. I will definitely be seeing her again.
With the exception of the 3 songs from the new album, the set list was the same as when I saw them in 2019. They are almost becoming a nostalgia act. I hope they don’t continue this trend. And it didn’t help that the person behind us spilled beer on my wife. Other than that, the stage looked cool. The band sounded great. A good time overall.
The show was great. Jack was amazing. He did songs from pretty much all of the bands he’s been in. I would have loved to see Allison too, the only thing that would have made it better is the kills opening more often. I loved the energy he brought to the stage. Will definitely go to more Jack concerts. He’s been my favorite artist since The White Stripes but this was my first chance to catch him in concert and it was everything I hoped. Thank you Jack for a great show and a fun night and congrats on your marriage!
I am glad I got to see Lamb of God and Megadeth again! They put on an awesome show again this year. In Flames is not my cup of tea, but they played well too. My only issue was the weird floor panels they had in the pit. They were not all secured down and I almost tripped on one.
Was so excited to see In This Moment for the first time. I wish the band wasn't in the dark the whole show and the video feeds only showed the stage hundreds of feet away. No different angles, closeups of her, her dancers or band. Slipknot's video feeds were awesome, felt like I was up close watching theirs.
Best freaking concert I’ve ever been to!! So chaotic and literally felt like everyone had lost their mind the whole concert!!! I love getting to meet other Metalheads and go freaking crazy with them at concerts!!! Literally 10/10 for me!!! Only downside was when entering the people doing checks were very very very rude and got into multiple peoples faces in front of me and argued with way too many people.
First Tool concert with my son! Got him interested in the band a few years ago, and he's hooked I believe for life! Excellent concert, we were probably 50 to 75 feet from the stage! Enjoyed seeing Tool again for the 3rd time myself, we planned to get tickets for another show which ended up being in Memphis, and of course they kicked Ass their too! Truthfully it's hard to tell which show was the better one, both venues provided an excellent production. Look forward to seeing another show in Tulsa some day down the road. Thank you for all at the Bok Center for all the hard work, hope you all are well during these turbulent times.
This was 100% the best concert I’ve ever been to for one I love the BOK Center and of course I love twenty one pilots. I got to the venue really really early (adout 2-3 am) to get really close and I’m really grateful to have gotten about third row and was really close to the stage it was amazing but also exhausting.
The boys were soooo nice!!! Thank you 92.1 the best for letting me win a ticket to meet them!! It was a dream come true!! This was my 3rd time watching them in concert and 1st time meeting them but even tho it was my 3rd time seeing them they still didn’t disappoint me!! It was the best night of my life!!!
First time I finally got to see him in concert. I’ve seen him perform live many times before on tv or when he has done specials, or on YouTube, which of course always made me want to attend his concerts even more. I live in Tulsa, and he has been here 3 other times, but I never got the chance because something always came up that got in the way. It was amazing! You can tell he was beyond happy to be back, to have a Tulsa orchestra perform with him made it even better, which I heard he does that every city he performs in. Of course the tour was about his latest album Love, so he talked about that and love in general and we just need more love. Saw a lot of amazing orchestra talent that he encouraged to sing during one of the songs, and the song Home, he dedicated to veterans and families and friends of veterans, and he pointed out that two of the professional singers from the orchestra who were part of his back up singers were veterans. My guess, they are at least 30s, late 20s, at most, just on cautious side since I didn’t always have the best view at times and you can’t guess an age by one night. Of course he brought out his humor, dance moves, storytelling that led to the song, and sometimes he just told how he felt since this was his first time back here in 7 years. He told us stories and reasons why he liked Tulsa. What he did a few days before the show when he landed here. Like going to LaFortune park, and meeting people at the hotel he stayed in and chatting, finding out that they were fans and going to the concert. One fan flew all the way from the UK, exact location was Isle of Wight. He was blown away when he heard that in the crowd, she ended up accepting the challenge of singing and deciding whatever song to sing and he ended up joining in. He talked about family, his three kids, how much all the support he and the family got meant to him during the rough time when his son was struggling, and they didn’t know what the outcome would be. Just an amazing experience, been a fan for a while, but been a fan of his as a person even longer. So it was a good feeling to finally have the chance to see him in person and put that down and off bucket list. Lol. I honestly don’t know what to say, except I’m glad he decided to come back, and glad he came back to Tulsa, which I knew he would if he decided to tour again, and I know he will be back. Thank you Michael. I’ll definitely keep a look out for your next stop here. Thanks for making one of the hardest weeks in my current a little better by distracting me and feel like I’m part of the family, No matter what religion you believe in, or don’t believe in, no matter if you are part of the LGBTQ+ community or are straight, he didn’t care, he didn’t care what race you were, what color your skin was, etc. As long as we love each other and not hate, as long and we keep being kind to each other or continue to be kind, that is all he cared about. He just wants kindness to start being the normal again and get rid of so much hate we have in the world, in general, and that is why I love him. And that is why I say thank you and I knew this would be amazing, but this experience was beyond amazing! ❤️
The lighting, the sets, the unbelievable seats, the flying piano, his vocal ability, the backflip, the crowd participation-all so amazing. He’s incredibly sexy 😘, incredibly talented, incredibly loving & last but not least...incredibly humble. It was all incredibly moving. 😢❤️. I’ve been a huge fan for a long time, but that was more than I ever expected. In other words, it was INCREDIBLE!!!
