Great show!
Plus:
1) Good show, considering that most members are 76 and 79 years old.
2) Don Airey's keyboard solo was great. Many well known tunes nicely merged together (classical, rock, "tulpen uit Amsterdam" and more), was received great in the crowd.
Minor:
1) During the first song, I thought Ian Gillan would drop dead on stage. Looking fragile and not capable of reaching the high notes, being 79 years old, he still knows how to play the stage and the public.
2) Simon Mcbride's guitar solo was super messy. He threw some guitar exercises and half startings of well-known riffs together, put them in a mixer and poured it out over the crowd. I expected much more from a guitarist who, obviously, knows his instrument very, very well. He needs to work on making his solo a logical whole.
🫶🏽Too good to be true❣️
Fantastic in so many ways. Most of all: it was pure; Janet had fun, she was emotional, had a little cough, but she gives a show like nothing matters. Dancing, sitting on a chair, didn’t need to change clothes over 8 times, a 2h show, started 21.05h, good vibe -> great mix of entertaining & very professional (just like it supposed te be).
Enjoyed the show and everything around it 🤩 🎈🍀💙 thank you Janet and crew.
Younger me is so happy to finally be able to see the Jonas Brothers live and hearing the songs I used to listen to! Current me was a bit overwhelmed 😂 They filled that show to the brim, to me it lacked a bit of crowd interaction. It felt like the focus was speeding through their songs and not so much the experience. Music and singing were all top tier and the whole show looked awesome👏 Would love to see them in concert again but with a less stacked song line up😉
Glad the show wasn’t postponed again. The 2nd time I saw the Jonas Brothers perform live. Also glad Joe changed the lyrics in Cake by the Ocean. Great show with many songs. Though, I wished Joe and Nick would sing with each other on their own song, like they did last time. I thought that gave it a nice extra touch. And Mimi Webb was nice as a supporting act.
It was a fantastic reggae night in Amsterdam. Ali's voice is fantastic, with so much feeling, emotion and his recognisability is phenomenal and unique. I've been listening to him since
I was born, now I'm 44 and I still love his music. His shows are just fantastic !!!
Now at the Blacksheep Festival, in Bad Rappenau Germany, he was great again.
At the next concert I'm going to England, Manchester...!!!
I'm addicted to UB40 FEATURING ALI CAMPBELL !!! 😁
In Big Love my Ali ❤️💛💚
All the hits, all the power, plus the humour of Anouk packed in an incredibly well-performed concert. Completely different from her show two days earlier with a choir and the Metropole Orchestra, but straight-up Anouk rocking the venue like she always does. The biggest surprise maybe is her switch to being a very talkative musician who interacts more with the audience and tells personal anecdotes; something she hardly did before but now seemed to enjoy it. Sound was good, lighting was superb, band played tight and with joy. A couple of slower paced songs at the start, but ending with all the energetic hits that everybody sang along with.
The only downside to this concert? The support act. Never have there been so many negative responses from the audience. Where two days earlier Thomas Azier put on an excellent performance that maybe deserved more attention, the DJ set prior to Anouk appearing on stage for this show was simply not up to snuff. Sound quality was bad and the whole experience was agony to many.
Excellent show. Very different from past performances; with a choir and the Metropole Orchestra, Anouk played well-arranged, powerful and beautifully executed versions of her hits as well as some songs she hardly ever has in her typical setlist. Somewhat fragile and vulnerable as one person standing separated from the choir and orchestra, but certainly grounded and confident in her performance. Great voice, nice lighting, good sound. Anouk has stage presence and this time, she also interacted with the audience much more than ever before. From all the Anouk concerts we've seen over the years, this one is probably her best yet, right after her Live at Toomler gig years ago.
KarolG is one of my favorite artists, and I like her even more after her concert! It felt like a couple of hours of pure energy! Also, the DJ opening the show put some old reggaeton songs that me and my friend enjoyed very much! The show, the lights, the dancers, the musicians, everything was amazing! The place was nice, even if we were in the second ring, we could see her clearly on the stage. For me, the sound was too high, but there were dispensers where you can buy earplugs, and it totally saved me! This concert made me feel so connected with the people that likes the same music as me like I haven't since I left Colombia. I am grateful and happy that I could be there. Totally recommend!
Big Time Rush was amazing! The songs they had chosen were a perfect combination of new and old bangers and their performance was on point. Also the confetti at the end was so cool. Hope ziggodome had enough staff to clean it up haha
Ziggodome had done a great jobe with separating the golden circle and general admission. And also before the doors were open, they handles the queues well.
Cant be anything but happy with my experience :)
This band has NEVER disappointed me! This was the fifth time I saw them live. On the first note, goosebumps appear and they stay till the last note. They play the clean crisp heavy hallucinogenic TOOL sound. It sounds even better then in the record. The amazing bass works of Justin, the mind boggling drums of Danny, the piercing riffs of Adam and the captivating voice of MJK. I was in musical heaven again 🤘🏼🖤🔧
69.999 humans, many friendly Dutch and me the German import, thought what a musical miracle this guitar rock- blues human is. Just awesome !! 🤩 Fantastic show, great song set list. Beautiful, natural kind of personell introduction into songs. That makes all the difference on empathy to music enjoyment and kind of creates a passionate connection to the audience 👏🙌. Brilliant sound, light and solo show, given an interesting variety of guitars to hear and see, last but not least the piano John 😁❤️one wonders how he brings these sounds and rhythms out 👌just a superb performance. I drove one way roughly 700 miles and I have to say, it was worth every minute of the time/money invest. I am so glad I made it to the concert. Not only are the John Mayer fans prepared to go the „longer“ ways 😅they are a special kind of fan group but even the next door shopping center to the ziggo dome in Amsterdam played John Mayer music as the gig before the gig feeling 😂. Great place to have John singing in the ziggo Dome. Professional soundings. The „Solo Tour“ I rate 130 % success. But one wish for future fan potential 🙏to the tour management: 👉Can this super musician please play in Germany too one day in dream future. I mean hey last time (2019) I flew 11 hours to SFO. The conclusion: Please more Europe shows. I am sorry I wasn’t born in the states. Seriously: Pure brilliance, one just wants to let the autopilot drive you home to not ruin the after effects. All the Best 🤘🍀🎸🎤5 star plus.
Amazing show! So glad I could be there to witness it, almost couldn't make it because of my chronic disease. I was in my wheelchair on the facility right behind the technicians so I could see the stage and their monitors at the same time. The next day I watched the livestream but to actually be there is quite a different experience.
Amazing! What a show, both for the ears as for the eyes. Plenty of solo’s, which is exactly what they are bringing back. The musicians are incredibly talented and the solo’s really showed this. Additionally they made sure to always have music playing, the solo’s gave the others space and time to make their way to the b-stage or rest a bit without leaving the audience with a break. I enjoyed it a lot and would definitely visit again!
Lewis’ concert was amazing! I loved that he performed new songs that weren’t released yet. And the interaction with the crowd was fun. Someone threw a shirt on stage with him and Harry Styles printed on and he put it on for a minute. What an amazing voice! Lewis, keep on being you, that is what I, as a fan, love about you.
I went to this with my Cousin & Uncle.. I've seen Roger Waters about 4 times before, together with my dad.
Roger was my dads favorite artist and I am sure he would have loved this concert as well.. I am glad that I went because to me it was a reminder of all the great times I got to have with my dad.
The last concert I got to see with my dad, he loved Tenacious D (so do I)
He was always so hyped about them.
Sadly he passed away a year later..
I am grateful and happy that I was able to go to so many concerts with him.
I miss him a lot & concerts will never be the same without him.
What a show! I really liked how they had 3 parts, like it was some story they were going to tell. The staging and outfits were WOW! So good! Sam felt so confident and comfortable in their skin, it was a totally different Sam than during their show in 2018. I’m a tad bit sad Sam didn’t perform Nirvana and Restart, but their voice and other/newer songs they did make up for it🤩💜
Two concerts with one ticket: first Within Temptation and then Evanescence, but the last one really hit home! Amy rocked the Ziggo Dome. The crowd sang along with the hit songs.
Although both ladies struggled with their voice by the end of their concert, they gave their all! And with My Immortal and Bring Me to Life as the two final songs of the evening I couldn’t have been happier. 🤟❤️
It was the best show EVER!! Thank you so much for such an amazing night filled with love kindness and friendship. And for creating a safe space for people to be whom ever they want to be, to be happy and to sing and dance like no one is watching 🪩I made so many new friend and met so many incredible people!
So thank you from the bottom of my heart you saved me and you still do every single day ♥️
Zweites Mal Hans Zimmer mit Tina Gua, diesmal Seine Live Show.
