Amazing gig - super impressive group
Excellent! Fantastic singer, songwriter and musician that delivers live with wit and warmth.
really pretty indoor venue with cozy music <3 louie miles was the opening act and he made me tear up to a song about houseplants. strawberry guy was funny and it was a nice gig, we got to meet him in-person and get a pic with him :)
really cool show, lighting and sound was great, strawberry guy was a god performer and very sweet. The venue overall was great and easy access.
This was an utterly magnificent show. They were playing in England for the first time, and were really up for it. They were on stage for the best part of two hours, and covered a wide variety of their repertoire, and showed talents across multiple instruments. The audience was transfixed, and clearly relishing their first chance to see them live, as was I. They came across as really nice people, on top of their stunning musicianship. Catch them whenever you can. The best concert I have seen in years.
Kings Place Hall 1 is a small tidy venue. Vieux Farka Touré sounded fantastic in the excellent acoustics. It would have possibly worked better in a hall with no seats so we could dance throughout. We did get permission to get up and dance at the end though, which was great.
Vieux Farka Touré's music is so laid back and cool. He is an excellent performer joined by a really accomplished bass player and percussionist. We were left wanting so much more as the gig was only 80 minutes long. Please come back soon and play a longer set!

Very honoured to be in the presence of two of the 'ukulele world's royalty, Jake Shimabakuro and Andy Eastwood. A brilliant concert, with their very different styles providing a wonderful evening. Afterwards, Jake was gracious enough to spend a few minutes chatting, even though I am sure he'd rather have been heading off for bed!

Terrific show. First time at Kings Place - not a great venue. No atmosphere. Pathetic, and expensive, bar.
Not long enough and should have been headlining!
