the bands were unbelievable and i am so happy i was able to go. however, there were some issues with the floor monitors at the start and well as in ears, and some feedback/static over the pa, but mei was very professional and kept the show moving. i would love to see them again sometime soon!!!!
LOVE Highly Suspect and it was a great show, as they always put on an excellent show 3rd time seeing them, but the place had no air. It was like a sauna in there, not sure if it was because of too many people but yeah it was hot!
Absolutely loved this show! The energy was great and you could feel the passion he had for all of his music too. I would definitely recommend seeing Livingston live if you get the chance!
I also really liked the venue. It was small but I had no issues with wheelchair accessibility.
Livingston put on a beautiful show. The sound, lighting, stage presence, and music were top tier, anx I was impressed with the level of quality of this performance overall.
The venue was a cool space, however, they way overbooked. People were crammed, there was absolutely no ventilation, and it was hot. If you didn't get there super early, chances were you couldn't even get in the room in which the stage is set, and from the bar side of the venue, it is impossible to see anything at all. Thankfully we were able to squeeze our way through to the back wall.
barely knew the music and was still one of the best shows i’ve ever been to, super intimate with a bunch of interaction and he led into almost every song with a story or joke, was awesome to see the band just play together + you could tell they were all having fun up there instead of just playing a set
The Strumbellas were great!
Unfortunately, the venue is less than desirable. Small, cramped and couldn’t enter the room where the band was playing. Also the sound system is poor. Even though the reviews showed acceptable for all ages. I probably should have realized, doors opening at seven meant the band would not start until nine. Not ideal for my 11-year-old. That was my bad.
the performers were amazing!! although i was pushed to the bar area and forced to watch the show on the tv because the place was absolutely flooded with people pushing and shoving and making it a miserable experience :( twrp, nelward and trey magnifique you were absolutely amazing though!! <3
It's one of his best shows yet. Power went out, and he still was going to sing with the fans. He truly cares about his fans. He's very humble and kind. 21 events with him and will do 21 more. The greatest honky tonker today.
no video does the concert justice, every second of it was stunning. underscores is such a great performer and her vocals are so lovely. the lighting crew deserves raises. i do wish the concert was longer because i would of loved to hear so many more songs but it was a blast and if underscores comes to michigan again i’m going to be there.
I knew it would be great, but it was even better than I expected. A perfect venue—not too big and not too small. A badass opener (Population II). An eclectic selection of wholesome Osees tracks that bounced back and forth between spasmodic punk bursts and refined cinematic face-melters. Long may they live. Also, all you need is the summertime.
Best show I’ve been to in a while even though his voice was hoarse he was amazing. Also took my daughter (it was her first show) who will remember this literally forever!! Julian is AMAZING and so down to earth. I will never miss a show in Michigan and if they go to Canada I’ll go there too!!!
It was beyond amazing, the band is as amazing live as they are in their songs, you know they live what they do and it’s incredible to see live. Their performance was one of my favourites, the music and band was all together perfect. Obsessed.
The opening band, Weird Nightmare were great! My only criticism would be that neither the band or the venue mentioned that they were playing.
Archers of Loaf were outstanding! It was one of those nights where the whole room was moving in sync. The crowd was singing along and having fun, and the band felt the energy which made it fun for them.
This is my 3rd time at El Club and once again they put on a great show! It was crowded but things were organized well. I hope that they continue booking the bands that I love because it's a very cool place to see a show.
Such a great event I traveled from Columbus Ohio just to see them after absorbing myself in their funk culture for one week ! Not only did they put on an unforgettable show, Tuxedo came back out after and did another hour of unforgettable music.. After the show i was able to meet the whole group to find out that they had just performed a private show in Dublin Ohio the night before . Ohio Loves and respects your VIBE.... We NEED YOU ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Super cool venue and Warpaint put on a super great performance!! So much talent in that group, and a unique sound all their own, which permeates into the crowd and brings out our kindred spirits! El Club has great acoustics and is a very intimate setting, and that combines to make such a memorable experience!Warpaint played an awesome set including the beautiful heart touching Melting, and the oh so fun New Song, leading into Disco!! Many other favorites throughout the set! The encore included I’m So Tired with Jenny’s smooth vocals, and one of my favs Beatles, which the crowd almost overwhelmed singing in unison! Loved every minute of it and will definitely look forward to seeing other talent perform here at the El Club!
Exceeded my expectations! Can't believe they have as much energy as they did when I seen them five other times in the 1990s! They are a very hard working band and there is no doubt they are there to give you your money's worth! They were on stage for about an hour and twenty minutes! Practically no talking or breaks, solid music from beginning to end! They played many of my old favorites, but I was impressed with newer stuff I hadn't kept up with over the years, and with Spotify, I'm going to check it all out now! Playing Angry Samoans and Black Flag during the encore was an intense treat! I LOVE MIDHONEY!!!
FANTASTIC!! A perfect opening set from Matt Heckler set the tone and Lost Dog Street Band picked it up an ran with it! A great crowd helped the band smile a lot. Everyone had a great night. Can’t wait until they come back!
Although I loved it because of Robin and Chloe, the venue was barley big enough for everyone there, there were people standing in the bar area because it was so full and there was leaks in the ceiling and people were getting wet,but other than that it was good.
this was the most emotional concert i’ve ever been to besides maybe bts. i sobbed SO much and being up at the stage was super nice. no barricade is great and ppl handed out water. super hype and so fun. love robbie, chloe, & austin!!
I Love APTBS sooo much. My soul been cleansed and resurrected by the simultaneous sonic seduction & assault that is A Place To Bury Strangers. They set the tone perfectly last night by entering the stage to a Butthole Surfers sequence which was a great little homage I thought. I’m a fan ... like, a Huge fan. 🦇💋
