Wonderful show!!! the divider screen showing a projection at the beginning was a wonderful way to start as the artists set up to get everyone on the floor and ready. music was amazing and everyone was high energy and rocking out, Mallavora has some really dedicated cans, even those kf us sitting or in wheelchairs were dancing and swaying along as much as we were able for the whole set.
The venue was super accessable, with wide ramps from the back of the building, past the unlocked disability restroom large enough for a wheelchair properly and past the stage. no going past the bins for once! the manager came by multiple times to check on us, and even offered to bring those of us at the front water so we wouldn't have to wheel through a crowd with our chairs.
overall wonderful event, wonderful location, wonderful community!
What a band and what a show. I've been following EMF since their first album and these guys are amazing. They are proper musicians who always deliver a top notch performance with true love and feelings. Also got to meet them after the gig when they took the time to meet the fans. They were all lovely and happy to talk to all the fans. TRUE LEGENDS !!
If anyone wants to know how you do a solo acoustic set, this is it. Barns was as exceptional as he always is, connecting in with everyone in the room like we're old friends - even had time for a bit of crowd surfing 😄❤️.
Incredible voice, and nice to see a respectful audience stay so quiet during the emotional songs (but singing their hearts out when required!) Will is an entertainer as well, with some great stories made the evening more special
Fantastic night support act Stoney Broke opened proceedings I hadn't seen him before but I liked what I heard, Chantel McGregor is one of the greatest guitarists & singers I have seen in over 50 years of watching live music, this being her new album tour we got to hear songs that most of the crowd hadn't heard before live & they sounded sensational, the new material was mixed In with older songs great variation, in my eyes being a huge fan she always cuts it & then some, as well as her amazing music you get her fabulous sense of humour, miss her at your peril.🎸🔥🤟❤️
Absolutely amazing show!
I loved all the Anecdotes from each song in regards to his time on one tree hill. Such a lovely guy to meet … shame I was too starstruck to speak
Amazing concert.
I listened to them for the first time in Madrid last year.
Black Honey show was incredible. They presented
new songs and the new album Soak.
Guys thank you for the amazing experience.
Rod and his dancers put on a fab Manchester performance! Fun and engaging throughout. A real treat was Berri appearing as a guest. All in all a brilliant night, highly recommend! Thank-you
Slightly disappointed "Turning of the Tide" wasn't in the set, but I then realised that all other HC songs are as good - brilliant set, and hope you tour the UK again soon
Brilliant show. Both bands were on top form as usual. Sound quality was particularly good compared with other venues I’ve seen these two bands play at. Night & Day Cafe is a great venue, not too big or too small. Nice crowd of people too. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Looking forward to see both Dom Martin and Blue Nation playing again at the Blackpool Blues Festival, 31st Jan-2nd Feb 2025.
The best show to date! The band sounded super dynamic and fresh making your feet move by themselves. Jen, the front-lady had a great connection with the audience making fun comments in between the songs everyone seem to enjoy and engage with. The new material presented at the night was well crafted and there was a nice groove to it, particularly the latest single „Don’t Ask Me” with a catchy chorus and superb drum section sounded even better live. The merch stall, as always well equipped in band’s back catalogue and cool t-shirts operated by the lovely Jen herself.
The audience could do better, but the band was awesome (that's a little joke for those who attended the concert hehe). If you like Softcult you should see them live. I'm going to the next concert in Bristol!
Everything was absolutely first class
Dea Matrona were on fire, their playing, singing and presentation was magnificent, the venue was great and the audience was loving every second.
A great support spot from Canadian band Housewife as well
Absolutely amazing night. Eric has an amazing voice, outstanding talent in song writing and very funny! Made for an extremely entertaining night. Engages with the crowd and you can tell he loves what he does.
This was the first time l had seen this amazing lady been a huge fan ever since, she has an incredible voice & is a real fireball of a performer an absolute honour watching her spreading her magic on stage.🎤🔥🤟💖
Amazing gig. The Bracknall really are a band to look out for. A modern take on 90s guitar based rock with melodic choruses and ingenious, evocative lyrics. Their first album Going Nowhere Fast is astounding as a debut release and we’ll with checking out.
Brilliant gig. Quite remarkable to think this talented guy had a chest infection and was still able to belt out a brilliant range of songs. Of course his voice was not 100%, but with this amazing bluesman, it didn't matter. Great rapport with the audience as per too. Dom'd going to be big and can't wait to share the ride.
The show was amazing! Appreciated it being an 18+ event as it made the audience able to connect more with the band.
Only issue was that the venue didn’t have good ventilation so the room became waaay too hot.
