The Mint

Sue Foley ! What can I say ? Extremely talented singer, songwriter and guitar player. She is the GOAT when it comes to blues artists. What a wonderful woman, and stunningly beautiful, she is aging like fine wine.

It was great! Josh and the guys with galaxy shores have really created their own sound. They’re fun to watch. The venue the Mint was super cool, with a really fun vibe. Great night.

The Mint was a great venue for Bug and Matt! Matt did an amazing touching new song, Caterpillar juice, which is available nowhere. These guys put on a great intimate show

So fantastically talented the Main Squeeze are! They didn’t go on until 10 pm for a show that “started” at 7:30, so we could only stay for one set. The opener (who was also great) didn’t even go on until 8:45. We had to get home to the pets in Santa Barbara. Disappointing because we really love these guys!

Drummer and lone original member Fito de la Parra has repopulated and reconstituted Canned Heat many times over the last 50 years. This edition is, with latest addition Jimmie Vivino ( late of leading Conan O’ Brian’s late night band) as solidly blues and boogie based as they come. The night was filled with old favorite songs and great new material done in solid fashion. The audience was engaged from the start with lots of back and forth banter. Canned Heat today is a better band in this incarnation than in decades past. GO SEE THEM and “Don’t forget to boogie!”

What a phenomenal show! Intimate venue and truly amazing musicians and vocalists. Cory is undoubtedly on another level. An absolute treat to be a part of this night! Some celebrities in the audience as well. Shout out to Anderson Paak and Don Cheadle. Super cool guys enjoying some of the best musicians in the world!

Morris and The Assembly performed well but this venue needs improvement. Talent - be advised - each artist is compensated by the door and who attended for THEM. The woman at the door never asked therefore there is no way to track attendance for the artist. Talent - have your own person counting! Also, the sound was substandard. Artists were asking for levels to be adjusted and he did not know what he was doing. We couldn’t hear the vocalist we were there to hear! Beware!

I’ve been wanting to see him for 4 years & finally. So worth it so talented so cool! Great show !!! He’s band was amazing!!!

This show was phenomenal!!! Such a strong band backing an amazing singer; loved every song, loved every minute! The sound was perfect at The Mint and Eric had the crowd energized as high as could be; so much cheering after each song, he left us wanting more!

What a good time that was at the mint! The crowd was packed, and the people were dancing! Looking forward to the next one with the David Young band!

These guys are the real deal! You would be hard pressed to find a tighter, more talented band anywhere, from ANY generation! Kudos to them. They are AMAZING!!!

Awesome show. Krasno always puts on a great performance and the band was top notch. Bonus was all the guests who joined on stage, especially Marc Broussard and Cory Henry. Go see Krasno whenever he comes to your town!

Fabulous venue, great marghartMargheritas and the show was 110% AWESOME! Wax is so talented yet so humble and keeps his touch with his fans. Would cme back any time we could!

Marlon and his band absolutely KILLED this show!! Best performance of the night hands down. Can’t wait to attend many more of his shows!

I never heard or seen this band Toy Monsters but when they came on stage at The Mint they blew my mind. Very talented. Definitely want to see this band again.

Calling Cadence is the best new music I’ve heard in a decade, no joke. I’ve seen them in a live setting twice now and can honestly say they’re awesome — complete with gorgeous harmonies, excellent musicianship, and a horn section (!). If you want your bones to shake, your soul to stir, your gooses to pimple, then check them out!

Cole and The Lesser Saints played a great set. Lots of shouts for "one more" at the end of the set! I really like this venue

Been a fan for many years. Still such a great live show experience. Great musicians and quality venue. The show was so much fun. I ended up getting new record on vinyl and 2 new t shirts.

The young man delivers brain melting guitar riffs that might wake SRV from the dead, and issues the silky smoothest blues voice ever heard from someone all of 19 years old. He is most definitely on his way up.
