Ryman Auditorium

This was the most amazing experience ever for my son and I. Even though I've seen Zach Top open for Lainey Wilson seeing him doing his own shows was amazing. I just wished he had a meet and greet signing after his shows like this old country singers use to do. But I will be seeing him again April 4 in Starkville near my hometown. Can't wait. Maybe I'll get lucky and get to meet him. He is what real country is all about!! Hope he never forgets where he came from and remains a down to earth person! Never change! Just because of the fame. My son would have loved to meet him for his 20th bday. Maybe we can make it happen someday! But ZACH TOP WAS NOT A DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!!!! Neither was Cole Goodwin!

From start to finish, an outstanding performance by Wyatt and a very talented supporting band. Impressed by how Wyatt gave each band member a chance to showcase their talents. Even more impressed by how well Wyatt’s songwriting skills shined throughout the performance, not overpowered by the instrumentals. And his interactions with the audience revealed a humble young man perhaps still surprised by the success the past few years of his albums and his tours. As an aside, a really nice touch to join one of his opening acts on stage for a song, and to give them a shout out during his own encore. I will return to see his next show at The Ryman!

Another tremendous show and the Ryman is such a terrific venue. The band was full of energy as usual. The only disappointment was their second horn (Lorenzo Molina?) wasn't there until almost the end of the concert. He really adds a lot of power with his horn and brings a lot of the enthusiasm to the show. Malo's voice continues to be the highlight of their sound. They are a wonderful band displaying so many different musical genres contributing to their unique sound and style. McFadden (keyboards) Deakin (drums) and Perez (guitar) had their usual strong performances. The accordion player is also a very bright spot with his contribution to their sound and his showmanship and enthusiasm. They will be touring in 2025 and are worthy of your time.

The WASP VIP meet & greet is beyond words. For any fan of Blackie it is a must!! The question and answer segment is phenomenal,  he takes his time to listen and he gives honest answers, he's not in a hurry, to listen to his answers are well spoken and you can tell he means what he says, he is not fake at all. It's also great to get your treasured items autographed. To see the WASP museum and get pictures is like going back in time, seeing the props we grew up seeing.  I'm saying 100% must. This was one of the best Clutch performances I have ever had the pleasure of witnessing. Neil Fallon opened by saying how excited they were to be playing at the historic Ryman Auditorium. They then went on to play one of the most comprehensive set lists ever - performing songs from 11 of their first 14 albums - playing a longer set then I have seen in many years. The Ryman Auditorium itself was the perfect venue. Our seats were in the front row up on the balcony, which provided a completely unhindered view of the entire show. Downtown Nashville also proved to be a energetic and lively nightlife scene that was clean, safe, and so much fun. Me and a friend drove from Saint Louis to see this concert and it was worth it one thousand times over. I have seen clutch. Perform live 12 times over the past. 18 years, and this was easily in my top 3 favorite shows. The venue provided affordable tickets and quality seating to an amazing show. You could feel the history and energy and tell that the performers could feel it too. The energy with which Clutch played closely mirrored that of them 15 years ago!

I saw Ben at Wolf Trap just outside of Washington, DC. I live in Nashville, but my sister had purchased tickets. Had seen Ben on Broadway in Evan Hansen. Thought at that time he was an ok singer, but not one I would go to,see in concert. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Ben came it and gave a spectacular show. And considering it’s an outdoor venue and it was during the recent heat wave, Ben really was unbelievable. His voice was spot on. He worked his butt off to make sure the audience was entertained and wow, was he successful. I’m now a raving fan of Ben Platt. Go. I promise you won’t be disappointed. Thanks Ben for a great evening of fun and entertainment

As usual my wife Jenn joined me on this super fun summer Ryman adventure! We live just ten minutes away from downtown Nashville. Town Mountain and Uncle Lucius opened for Silverada (formerly Mike and the Moonpies) and all three were great in their own ways. I’d seen Town Mountain once before and I’ve gotta say I thought they were a better show than Uncle Lucius AND Silverada, the latter couple being new to me. Well, maybe I should say it was more to my liking, because they’re more bluegrass with a funky beat, instead of straight country. We were seated up in the Balcony for TM, as our tickets read. Uncle Lucius was excellent too and we went downstairs to the Main Floor for them and Silverada, the headliner, who did their own thing, which was a hoot and a holler. Only about half the place was packed but they had very loyal fans. Met a lot of folks from Texas, some of whom had never been to The Mother Church! I welcomed them best I could. I love the Ryman. It’s like my home away from home. I definitely recommend all three of these bands, especially Town Mountain and Uncle Lucius if you’re more into jammy bluegrass as opposed to more hard Country, which I thought Silverada sounded more like.

What an excellent show, W.A.S.P. at the Ryman in Nashville, TN. Some think of Nashville as being just a country music town, but you surprised by the number of rock stars that you know, that now call this area, "Home!" The Ryman is an excellent place to experience a rock show, the acoustics are perfect. W.A.S.P. was in excellent form. I dont think they've ever sounded better, including Blackie's vocals. Great show & set list. I cant say enough good things about this performance. Same with Armored Saint, the opening act on this night. Excellent vocals & great musicianship. See these 2 bands when u can! You won't be disappointed.

Outstanding show! I really liked their stage presence, how natural they were, and the sheer energy that they gave to the audience. Every nuance they put into their live performance only added to the brilliance and heart pounding (or heart rending) beauty to the songs! My family and I really enjoyed the show. The only downside would be, when the guitars were the full on, distortion wall of sound, some mid-high frequencies built up and got harsh on the ears. (though, personally, I like hearing parts where I *might* need to close my ears.) My first concert I ever went to was these guys on the Wilderness release tour (every bit as good!).. and I'd be content if this would be my last. Thank you

It is humorous of course to the bone, that I will again attempt to review an event that occurred in the past and which I did not attend. However, I want to attempt again just in case. You young'uns rocked it with a super fresh groove I would have loved to have witnessed. 'Jus saying, Britany I would drain your precious energy too much to have been there, but thanks for all you taught all of us who study you. I know I am typing in mumbling of different thoughts, but I luxuriate in the memories of the sounds you and your sister attract. Wintergrass to April I don't think the event I was at was this one, but I know it rocked just the way you wanted it to.

Was an incredible new experience! Was super chill and up close and personal compared to his big concert shows which I love too. Loved how he told the story behind each of his songs for the - album which just helped to show how human he is. Only downside I would say was there was only 1 merch seller which made the line wrap around the whole inside and all the merch was pretty generic - album tour stuff (only found out later there was a poster also for sell that wasn’t hung up that had the dates of the event and location). Wasn’t able to purchase anything for this reason and hate it since this was a more “exclusive” event in a way.

The Shins are one of my favorite bands, especially one that isn't from the jam band world. This was my second time seeing them, also at the Ryman, a must-go-to venue if you're ever in Nashville. James Mercer is a genius. And whoever he has playing with him as The Shins you can bet they'll put on a fantastic show. The lights were an added flashy touch to their psychedelic pop sounds. I cannot wait to see them again. I'm very sorry to take off half a star because the opening band was one of the worst bands I can remember seeing in a while. I don't remember their name. However, this was quickly forgotten when The Shins took the stage and made our night. Thank you.

First and foremost, Colony House killed it last night! In my opinion, they are ready to play arenas! Caleb was in great voice, and the whole band was energized and obviously having a great time. The audience was with them! Acoustics at the Ryman were comparable to the best I’ve heard, which was at Carnegie Hall in NYC, where I had the privilege of singing 9 years ago in a choir backing up Caleb’s Dad, Steven Curtis Chapman (who, by the way, made a guest appearance last night - he killed it too - and he was one proud Dad!). Okay, the seats at the Ryman were not terribly comfortable, but those pews are part of the ambience there, and we probably stood for about 80% of the show anyway. We were in the second row of section 11 of the balcony and those were terrific seats. Don’t miss this tour!

As always, the Lynyrd Skynyrd show at the Ryman was top notch! They blew the doors off the Ryman and gave a performance that PBS should be proud to produce for for their special in March 2023. They had four special guests (I don’t count GARY ROSSINGTON as a special guest) that will add a little diversity to the listening audience when the show is aired next year. Despite a couple of hiccups with sound production and an unprecedented moment when JVZ stopped Free Bird after about 45 seconds and started the song over after an issue with GR’s guitar occurred (anybody know what the issue was with his guitar???), THE SHOW WAS FIRST CLASS! I have seen Skynyrd more times than I have fingers and toes and they have never let me down. I know their touring is soon coming to an end so I think I will make this my last show. They don’t get more memorable than this one!

Tasha Cobbs Leonard was so powerfully used by God. She looked fantastic !!!!!! Looked 10 years younger 😊. I was thrilled to see her emerge from the dark trials and years of pain she had to go through. There are so many of us who have prayed and even fasted for you Tasha you may have went through hell and I’m sure it felt like the shape of death but we all were praying you just kept going. You touched our hearts and strengthened our spirits with your singing. But you ALWAYS have. Your song “The Church I Grew Up In” was phenomenal. Do me a favor ????? Please don’t ever forget what you’ve been taught and don’t ever sell your birthright for a bowl of porridge. Your too valuable to the Kingdom and God still has so much more for you to accomplish. Remember, you are anointed ….. hence the pain and the attacks from the enemy. Your being attacked because of WHO you are and WHOSE you are. Never forget that. If it gets too hard just reach out. There’s a bunch of us who will help carry you through every pain. We can do it in prayer and intercession. I love you Tasha. Thanks for being true blue. Your one of a kind. Don’t ever forget that. Love you girl !!!!

I cannot count how many times I’ve seen the Nitty-Gritty Dirt band over my lifetime! I was kind of bummed out at first, knowing that John McEuen was no longer with the band. He was the original founder of the band, and I just did not think it was gonna be as good without him! I was so wrong. The concert last night at the Ryman Auditorium, on September 17, was one of the most fun occasions I have had in years. The band was so good, and I was so impressed. I had an absolute blast at the show, and the music was phenomenal! Jamie Hanna, Who is Jeff Hanna’s son, could not have been better. His talent as a musician and his singing was fantastic. I give this show 8 stars, out of five! And I apologize for not remembering his name, but the new fiddle, mandolin player was fantastic! Nat Coffin

I originally bought these tickets as a Valentine’s Day/Birthday present for my husband, but due to Covid it was repeatedly cancelled and rescheduled😓 My husband FINALLY got to enjoy his gift, and I did as well! Bert and his entire team (meaning literally everyone from Bert to the guys running his merchandise table) were so amazing and authentic!! And literally ALL of the employees of Ryman Auditorium & the security guards were some of the most genuine & heartfelt people I’ve ever met. They absolutely added 100% to our experience and I wish that I could have hugged every last one of them! We will NEVER forget that night. Thank you so much!!! 💜💜💜

Wow! So great to finally see them on their own after seeing them backing Neil Young at Desert Trip and then their way too short set opening for the Rolling Stones 2019 Seattle show. My first time at the Ryman could not have been better. I so thankful to Lukas for developing his talent and surrounding himself with other talented musicians. I wish they had played "Bad Case" and could have gotten him to sign his first album that I brought, but that gives me just one more reason to see them again, and again, and again...... Two of our party were not familiar with his work with the POTR and were amazed. I had to battle flight cancelations, late rebooked flights (from Alaska) and shuttle cancelations and every frustration of the journey was overshadowed by entire experience of being at the Ryman for a show that exceeded my high expectations. I'm blessed!

Amazing - as always. Set list included songs that we hadn't heard in a very long time, which made the 8 hour drive to & from the Ryman grom Cleveland OH very worthwhile! Isbell's shows never disappoint - as all of us die-hards can attest to 150%. The talent he possesses as a songwriter along with the lyrics he writes is something that cannot be put into words or rated... his incredible thought-provoking lyrics have the ability every single time he sings them to make tears happen (with a few of his slower tunes), while other of his tunes will make ya wanna dance and sing at max volume. Isbell & the 400 Unit are an amazing group of folks that have a remarkable & beyond entertaining stage presence at every single one of their shows.
