First time i've been able to see Taylor live with me being in the UK, but OMG she was absolutely phenomenal!! Words literally can;t explain just how amazing she is! I also had VIP tickets too so i got to meet her aswell, and she is the absolute sweetest woman ever!!! There is literally nothing that she can't do! Absolutely mind blown!! She is genuinely thankful for all her fans <3
One of the greatest shows I've seen. I was in the pit for a long time, but when I was admiring the band I could see they were on top form.
The energy, the vibes, the fun. Genuinely one of the best gig experiences I've ever had and I can't wait to see Spite again. SPITE CULT
The sound that Óskar, Stefán and Alex produce on stage is INSANE . First class musicians that deliver a full musical experience every song . Lucky enough to have met Óskar and Stefán before the gig . FIRST CLASS GENTLEMEN. “Expand your mind “ was the first song I ever heard , and was immediately hooked !
One of my favourite bands but spoilt for me by a bad mix (could hardly hear vocals and guitar over the subs for all of the bands). Plus one of the supports I was looking forward to had a random person doing vocals and didn’t say why. I ended up having to leave half way through Currents’ set in the end as they split a crowd that was too packed to do it safely and people were idiots about it and I got hurt and stressed despite deliberately not standing in the ‘pit zone’. Maybe if I could’ve heard the songs over the bass it would’ve felt worth battling through the idiots in the crowd and the panic attack.
PAIN my favourite band of twenty years. Always stunning. The boys were amazing again, especially Peter -even more than ever. The only star is taken off is for the Sound mix, very poor, the drum was tinny and you could only hear that, everything else was drowned out rather. It didn't stop everyone having a great time. The venue staff were also lovely! Even provided umberellas for the smokers in the rain! Coat store was £4 which is a little expensive but at least there was the option.
Didn't think much of the opening band of the night Lake Malice were on fire but As Everthing thing unfolds were absolutely amazing. 02 islington academy is a nice small hall that is easy to access to Angel Station.
My only concern there wasnt enough large As Everything unfolds merchandise
I've seen hundreds of live performances over the years, from megastars to local bands. This was the best live gig I have ever attended! The quality of their music, and the effort they put into their act, are beyond anything I have previously seen. I've seen The Warning twice now, and I will be certain to find them again on their next tour to Europe. By then I expect they will command only the very largest venues!
As for the venue, it was pretty good as they go. Sound system was excellent, and the AirCon was actually effective - on a very warm night.
This was the 3rd time I have seen The Warning and this one is, without doubt, the best concert I have been to. I am an avid Nightwish fan and thought nothing could top watching them live… Well The Warning just did that without any pyro or light shows, just three incredibly talented sisters and their team and of course the fans made it a night that my daughter and I will never forget. Not forgetting the opening act, Dead Pony who were great. Best night of my life, a fantastic end to their European tour.
I first saw GWAR back when every council in the land was banning them, around 1990. I’ve always held that gig in my memory as a ‘top ten’ and over 30 yrs later they still provide an amazing, hilarious, blood soaked show. I did think back in the day their music wasnt my thing but the catalogue they’ve produced actually has something for all hard rock fans. Under the stage act are some good musicians and song writers who are still churning out anthemic tunes. The current line up are not just keeping the legacy of GWAR going they are adding to it. They still have that scum dog magic🤘
Venue was way too small for a band with their following. It was GREAT to have this band back. There was a risk they’d gone for good. BUT Diana Leah was a joy. Loved her personality - almost apologetic (in case fans felt she was an interloper). She was attractively self-effacing - making her very appealing. Her voice is great. & she fits in well. The whole atmosphere of the band was tight. Brave choices for the set ie old Charlotte songs were in there & sounded just as good. New songs from the latest album have THE style & are already classics. Loved the way, at the end, they said “we’re not doing an encore, we’re meeting you in the merch area”. They care about fans. & Paolo was fun too.
OMG, how have I missed this band esp as around in various guises since '94!
Energy, presence, great music and Ambre's wonderful voice.
Albums have seemed 'so-so' up to now but on-stage Xandria is totally different to studio Xandria.
Badly need to take cards for merch though - cash or Paypal was a right PITA.
Eye opener for me and now def adding to my playlist and 'go to' list for next visit to the area.
Soen were sublime. It was an amazing night, with three bands, playing flawlessly. Horrse Ocean began the night with a succession rip-roaring songs, that got everyone buoyant, they were followed up by Lizzard, from France, and they played some wonderful songs, great melody and rythme. The drumming was awesome, and the vocalist was inspiring. Final Soen came on stage and rocked! Song after song, was played with 100 percent conviction. Totally amazing night. Up there with my favourite band selections, such as Tool/APC/Pusifer, Opeth, Porcupine Tree, Wheel and Alice in Chains.

She sounded amazing and was so nice to actually meet her in person!
It said the doors opened at 7pm but we got in at 8pm. The support act came on around 8:10pm and Dylan then came on around 9pm. There was a lot of waiting around in tiny rooms, it didn’t feel very well organised but because she was so good it was 100% worth it in the end.
Security were quite strict - no drinks and asked for ID for 15+ which is a bit ridiculous as what 15 year old will carry around ID!
Also, unless you are desperate for the front you don’t need to get there at opening time as it’s a lot of waiting around and the venue is quite small you are so close anyway.
It was amazing the first bm concert I been too and me being 16 I was so scared I was upfront in the middle and I could barely breath pushing everyone with my bum but it was a good experience although my neck for hurting for 3 days after head banging I met teloch don’t how to spell his name and he was amazing I’m on his insta and I could never ask for nothing more I met wonderful ppl and made friends I was scared cause I’m a poc and they helped me as I’m 16 love to all those ppl
Just true awesome all the way this was me and my misses first billy talent concert and just word can't say Enough. I have been a big fan of Billy Talent since i was a kid and they more then delivered on my childhood dream of seeing them.🤘🤘
Great show, but I very nearly didn't get in due to Ticketbastard's stupid e-ticket phone app only ticket thing - which wouldn't show my ticket on my phone outside the venue! Why wouldn't they let my print my own ticket at home with a scannable QR code? It's an O2 venue and my phone is on O2 but the bloody app still wouldn't work!
There Voices were Amazing Jenna amazing the only downside was the fact cause there was so many tall people i couldnt see the stage but i did at somepoint i even got a picture with JENNA RAINE AFTER THE SHOW AT THE MERCH STAND
INCREDIBLE NIGHT
Show was originally meant to be at O2 academy Islington but was moved to Old Blue Last club.
It was absolutely amazing. Smaller venue but very loud so perfect for a rock gig of this sort.
From Another Mother kicked off the proceedings in a very confident professional manner. Punk rock prog fusion was just what the doctor ordered.
Vizelj followed in a sane fashion. Serbian post punk trio energised show was just incredible. Nevermind the language barrier. It was all there and then.
Them Moose Rush are going to be huge. They play every gig with such incredible ease it is astonishing they are not already a household name.
Sugar on top came in the shape of M.O.R.T. Croatian blues punk vagabonds took us for a trip we are not going to forget that easy. Sing after song crowd was getting more and more jubilant which erupted in an explosion of emotions and the wall of sound.
My God that was gig and a half !
One of the best gigs I’ve been to! I was lucky enough for the London show to fall on my 20th birthday 🙌🏻
We were first in line in VIP! The staff at the venue were so friendly (even gave us a blanket because we were freezing!). The band themselves were such lovely guys!
Thanks for a good show guys!
