One of the most talented bands out there, and they always put on a fantastic show! We've seen them several times, but the show on 9/13/2024 was special because we got to meet the band, share a sad story, and then they dedicated a song to my son. It was truly surreal.
First of all, any House of Blues is always one of the coolest places to see a rock show. I've been to this one in Myrtle Beach twice now to see Chevelle, and I've been to the one in Orlando multiple times. The opening bands were great, but I traveled 10 hours for Chevelle, and they didn't disappoint. They never do! They played a great mix of songs, and we even got to hear a new song off of the upcoming record. I would do it all over again.🤘🖤
Another spectacular show by From Ashes to New! I got in on the meet and greet and they are just freaking amazing! So genuinely nice! The stage show what a large-scale production in a smaller venue. So glad to see them and I can’t wait to do it again!
Also, the guys assembled a supporting lineup that couldn’t be beat! I have actually heard of most of them but I was so impressed with Elijah (he spent more time in the audience than on stage❤️), Phix which that baller drummer that everyone must see, Ekoh (even more talented than I imagined, love that guy!), and Point North (get to see them again real soon!). Go see them all!
The highlight of this show was Kabaka Pyramid (WOW) great sound great performance great message. Inna Vision sounded good performance was good great vibes. Tribal Seeds is such a great band but “The Sound Guy” messed their shit up so badly that the band members were all out of sync which led to a really bad performance. Better luck next time. KABAKA RESPECT MON
Show was great! The opening bands rocked it out. Tribal seeds sounded great ! The lead singer was very muffled and difficult to hear with a lot of feedback Little disappointed but soooooo glad I got tot see them and hear them live
First time seeing Dope but have been a fan for years! A lot of energy, especially as always from Acey Slade. I did run into him afterwards and he was kind enough to take a photo with me. Edsel Dope was funny, great vocals, got the crowd going. If you don't know the band, check DMFD & Sick. 🤘🏻🖤
Fantastic show by all 3 bands! It was cool that Wayne's sister was there and the first show of the tour! The meet & greet was awesome. Very nice!
Xer0 did a great job with huge shoes to fill! Not much back tracks used, which I always appreciate from all bands! 🖤🖤🤘🏻🤘🏻
This was my second time seeing this tour, third time seeing him and it was amazing. The energy and performance was incredible. My little sister and I had meet and greet and he was so sweet and kind. It was my sister’s birthday present and she definitely enjoyed every second of it. We will definitely be going to another concert of his in the future!!
Just to be clear the five stars are for the music, not the venue.
The concert was great. First time seeing Duane Betts band. Very good.
We've seen BB Smoke many times. Great show as always. Looking forward to getting the new album. Great get together at the end with the two bands
As far as the venue, we won't be back. We've seen a few shows here, but not this packed. We had handicap seats. Wife on a walker and me on a cane. We felt like we were in a box.
No room to move. If you had to get to the bathroom you basically had to push people. Now there were some kind people who would try and make a hole, but today's generation doesn't care.
After getting stuck in the bathroom due to an altercation, they happen, I went outside for a cigar. The altercation followed me outside with security finally ejecting one individual.
Bar access was tough with so many people just blocking the easy. I thought Myrtle Beach had smoke free indoor restrictions. I'll leave it at that.
Yea, this was a bit of a rant, but I haven't felt that tight at a concert ever. It was too crowded.
Corey Taylor was OUTSTANDING!! Didn’t care for the 2 warm up acts. Just not my thing. Glad we stuck it out to see Corey, he really was magnificent. I probably won’t go see another show at the House Of Blues in Myrtle Beach however. My wife and I are physically disabled and the seats they give you are wooden stools with no backs in very poor visibility areas. Very disappointing. Live and learn.
I have no words to describe what I feel after what I experienced last night. Having the opportunity to speak to BVB directly and thanking them for the last 13 years of music and also receiving thanks in return from Andy Biersack HIMSELF for sticking with them all these years was something I'll never, ever forget! The entire show was amazing! I gotta say, if you haven't seen or heard Dark Divine, they're one to keep an eye on. Best opening band I have witnessed to date! Seriously! Seeing the legendary Ville Valo perform live was certainly a sight as well! Got to meet some new friends and rock with my peeps! The sound that erupted from me when BVB took the stage can only be described as Unholy and feral. I finally got to see my heroes perform the songs that have carried me through all these years!!!! May have shed a tear or two! Overall, it was a fabulous night and I'd do again 100× over.
I heard some of Dark Divine’s music before but I was absolutely blown away by their stage presence. The band had the coolest makeup and the lead singer was charismatic. Their vocals really rival some of the big name bands in metal right now and I have full confidence that they will be a big name in music soon enough. Go see them. Spooky and spectacular!!
Great venue. Awesome, friendly staff that go above and beyond. Make you feel at home, like family. I would love to give a shout out to my amazingly awesome waitress but I paid cash and didn't keep a receipt. Jinjer performed an amazing show as always. The opening band (Monuments) put on an awesome show also. Great time!
Absolutely amazing musical talent all over the stage. Eric played the hits through an acoustic set followed by an electric set. He played piano. The band was on fire. He played a couple of tribute pieces including Jeff Beck. After several decades I finally got to see one of my first heroes. This tour is WELL worth your time!
Blue October was incredible! The House of Blues was an excellent venue for them, and the band very clearly went out if their way to make fans feel special- I can’t say enough about how much I respect these guys and their music! I loved them before I saw them live, but now I have a whole new level of respect and devotion to Blue October. Love them!
All three bands/artist put on a great show! The guitar player from Casey Baers show was a beast! I had never heard of Jamie Miller but, his voice is of an Angel 😇. Heather can do it all!! now to Jesse.. he was of course Great.his style was very 70s chic, his shoes looked so comfortable. I wish we could’ve changed.;) He does these quirky/theatrical faces when performing. The way he stares at the crowd makes you feel like #1. My sister is 31. She had never been to a concert before so I bought her these tickets and I’m so glad I did. She’s been super depressed the last year and it was great to see her smiling. She isn’t a gushy person but, I seen her post about how awesome the concert was. Anyway, thank you all for all you do!!!
Ps: Jesses drummer was getting it!!!
Father Zakks voice was good despite losing his voice last week. Glad we got to have the show. 3rd time seeing BLS and can't wait for the next show. The dueling guitars 🎸 was awesome. Father Dario is his protégé. Glad the Carolina chapter got to be blessed in their presence!
Such an awesome venue, if you eat at the restaurant attached and each person in your party spends more then $25 a person, you get a skip the line pass and you can skip the insane line around the whole building, all the staff was very kind and very cool, and don’t even get me started on how amazing the show was, 100/10 would recommend to a friend and for sure will be back here again!
