Pappy & Harriet's

Great band at a great venue. It was a pleasure talking to Dallon, what a wonderful man who surrounds himself with good people. The sunset show really added a gorgeous atmosphere. Soklo put on a fun performance and was a delight as well. Shawn and Cody managing the tour and all the people at Pappy & Harriet's really made this a memorable experience.

I was very excited about this show because of the venue. I saw Placebo there with my wife a year ago and it was one of my favorite shows (although Placebo is her band). I’m glad to say I got to experience Gang of Four in a pretty intimate (or as close to intimate as you can get) setting. Hugo was solid, Jon brought the fire, Ted Leo channeled the essence of Andy Gill and Gail Greenwood supplied the low end to help tie all this noise together. I had some gripes with the set (Awww c’mon! Nothing from Hard…which gets a bad rap) but overall I really enjoyed the show. Afterwards the band came out to the merchandise table and mixed it up with the fans. It was a lovely evening.

The band sounded fantastic. I had 2 issues/frustrations though. 1st was that the show started at 9pm on a Sunday. (I’m getting old) 2nd is that the show was advertised with no opener & I bought tickets under the assumption the band would come on at 9pm. There was an opener and La Luz didn’t perform until after 10pm. I ended up leaving about halfway through the show unfortunately. I hope to see the band again soon because they were great!

What a mile-marker in my long long music-listening avocation. To see Bob Mould and his top grade crew in that well-known and small music room is a privilege indeed. The sound of that guitar through those amps with his hand and voice has been a constant companion to me since 1982. Thank you for continuing to give us such fantastic sound and song writing artistry, Mr. Bob Mould! You bring it and send it every time. John Saul

5 stars! I love this music and the band was terrific. Ray of course had new songs and I hope that the new band members were included in the latest disc. I got a new T shirt and nothing could be better. The audience went nuts and loved every moment. What more can you asks for, good musician, good music and a great venue. All in all worth the 70 mile drive any day of the week!

Omar was an enchanting opening act for Father John Misty. Beautifully crafted songs, sung in his signature melliffluous tones. He had the audience in the palm of his hands. We only wishes he could have performed for longer. Wha a break-out star he's turning out to be!

The best ever - small venue - loyal crowd (we knew they lyrics) - peaceful and high-energy at the same time! A lot of respect. Classics like "For What It's Worth" to recent lke "Surrounded by Spies." "Nancy Boy" was performed live. Perfect venue in beautiful desert country. We loved both nights, one night dancing at the back, the other, standing in the first row with a fiew of Brian and Stefan!

After we saw Gary at Cruel World last year, we knew we had to see him again as a headliner and with a full set list. He crushed it at CW and again last night at Pappys. They played all the heavier industrial rock but also some older classics, Down In The Park and an encore of Are Friends Electric?. The place was packed and rightfully so. My one complaint about last night... the guy with fuzzy hair, near the end of the night, that jumped in front of us and started farting/crapping his pants... wtf bro get to a porta potty next time instead smoking us all out

They were amazing like always! Love the small venue here with a very compact stage where you get to see them play up close and personal. Everyone was as great as the last time I saw them and I try to see them each time they're local within a few hours of driving! Always invigorating to watch them play their hearts out in a blaze.

TheDubs🏆 threw down a solid set out in theDesert Night… maybe the light mellow crowd because Sunday ? But theHerbs mighta helped. Honestly, Pappys is a special place with an actual Soul and people gathering there, whether from the desert or OC even LA , seem to always drop the pretentious front and come together with respect. You can’t beat that, and if that became theStandard then theOppressor will fall. JAH RISE 🏆

The show was AWESOME! The guys sounded fantastic live, we loved it. They played the great older along with some new ones - all with lots of energy and fun. We're looking forward to the time when we can see them live again!

Artist was great! Venue was really awesome (nice country western atmosphere) Was too packed though. Beer/alcohol was too expensive (so was the food) and they don’t have a huge variety of alcohol . Not to mention to get a beer took over a hour. Forget taking a restroom break and getting back to your friends, that was a nightmare.

I absolutely love lovejoy and I loved the venu and how it felt much more personal than a big stage! The only thing is that I couldn't hear the actual singing very well and the instruments overpowered them a bit. One other things that is really important is that the queuing line was very confusing and messed up and I got to the venue at 4 I'm the morning and was 10th in line bit I ended up losing my spot because we needed to move th line to the currect place.but I did end up getting to my spot. Other than that the show was amazing!!

This was my first ever concert and I loved it, it was so amazing getting to see them up close like that because I don’t know when I’ll be able to see them again and especially with them getting bigger I don’t think I’ll ever be as close up as I was. I really enjoyed there signing I of course knew every song and they honestly killed it they were extremely good. I hope I get to see them soon and maybe be as close up as I was.

Absolutely amazing show! I’ve seen Metric 8 times and love them even more each time I see them. To see them in such a small venue like Pappy and Harriet’s that you get to be so close and have such a great experience was amazing! Emily and the fellas killed it!

Such an intimate show at Pappy & Harriet’s getting to see Caroline Rose!! They were so vulnerable with sharing this latest album and some stories with us. Thanks Carol you are a treasure and we loved your show so so much. And what a delight we got a Cher cover to boot!! We love you to pieces.

The venue was intimate and a little kitschy I admit but in a very charming way. Very much firefly vibes. Coheed was fantastic as always. And I really enjoyed the opener Sheer Mag. The on-site booze was poured strong enough for my liking! I wish there was better service at the event but it also kinda added to the experience of being a little detached from the pulse of the world and whisked off to the worlds that Coheed creates. Great show to kick off the tour, boys! Ern runs these events like a well-oiled machine!!

Always kickass. Saw Jake and the band at P&h last year as well. Took a pic, a little chit-chat, shook some hands and patted some backs before destroying a tri-tip plate which is a dish not to be missed. My advice to all is “watch the drummer,” he is a fuckin machine. \,,/

The venue/ bar was reputable as many great bands have played there. The stage was small but the sound and atmosphere were great. It’s sort of a secluded location, so you really want to be there expressly for the ambiance. The hospitality and customers were great, I didn’t eat there but plan on returning some day.

REV was great as usual! We loved the opening act too! This was our first time at Pappy and Harriets. The food is excellent. My only gripe is that they didn’t remove the dinner tables right next to the stage after their dinner service was over. The tables got in the way of more people seeing the Rev up close. The table also got in the way of a busy walkway to get in and out of the back. I will definitely go back to Pappy and Harriets for a show! Especially if it’s the Reverend Horton Heat!
