Beth and her band played a tight and great feeling set. Singing was top-notch: she has high-quality players supporting her. Beth is such a good songwriter, and she treated us to some favorites and some new, as-yet unrecorded material. Local artist Anna Devine's opening set (acoustic and electric guitar, beautiful singing) was impeccably leveled and intimate--the volume bump put in for Beth's set was a little too much for the size of the space, especially with the quality of the musicians. Loved the vibes/look of the venue and ticketing process (cover simply added to dinner tabs at the end of the night); menu and cocktails were very good. Aside from needing earplugs on this occasion, this is a place I'd want to play myself. Was very happy to introduce some friends to Beth's music--instant hit with them!
