Rod Laver Arena

Words will fail me in the attempt to describe the performance, but here it goes: superb, intense, energising, dream-like. And to witness live performance by H. Andy again (but after 23 years and 5 months) + E. Fraser (my teen idol) for the first time, well, it made me scream like an excitable teen. My message to MA and their PR peeps: please come back next year (and every year after that) and bring the whole ensemble with you. Persuade Tricky to come and be the third cherry on top! P.S. A friend of a friend described the concert as the best protest he ever attended:))

Oh my gos deftones absolutely slayed it all the songs were so good my friend and I had a good time my favorite song was milk of the Madonna the guitar riff in that song is so good we skipped the opening acts but made it when interpol was still on stage other than that Deftones crushed it live Chino is the goat 🐐

Absolutely amazing night!!! I sat right up the back in the top row at Rod Laver Arena, but still felt so connected to the show - especially when Marcus Mumford came running up into the nosebleeds mid-song! The music and talent was incredible; they sound even better live than in recording. And the band all looked like they were having so much fun performing. They radiated joy, and we could feel it! Such a great concert. Will definitely see them again next time they come to Melbourne ✨

Loved the performances from all the artists, its so good to see Jimmy and his family working together. I was not to impressed with the price and quality of the bucket hat I bought from the merch stand, I didn't realise until the next day that it cost me $55 and the Hoodie I bought for my husband only cost $80, the hats are not even printed just a sew on badge. Other than that the venue was great.

I love Papa Roach since the 90's practically neighbor where I was back then so still energetic and songs so relevant now. LANDMVRKS was sooo awesome too! I hardly get a front act that was a power house to rile up the mosh pit 🤘🏼 What I watched of ADTR was sad to miss most of it but they're great at least the first song.☺️

We saw Lainey in 2024 on her first visit and as soon as we saw her coming back we booked to see the Whirlwind Tour. Cracking performances. The support acts were great, I did know of them before hand but now have gone down the rabbit hole listening to them (Kaitlin Butts and Flatland Cavalry). Lainey was, as before, fabulous and without knowing that much about her she oozes niceness. I get Dolly Parton vibes of goodness from her. The way she interacts with kids is so sweet to see. The band are all incredibly talented and I loved seeing each get their moment in the spotlight. Looking forward to her next tour here as until America gets itself sorted we won't go visit to watch her in her native land. Once they do, I will be on a plane to see her.

the main show was absolutely amazing! He brought so much energy, emotion, and realness to the stage. The crowd was loving it, and every song hit perfectly. You could really feel the connection he has with his fans. The only downside was the two preacts. They didn’t really grab the crowd, and honestly, they just weren’t good. But once Jelly Roll came out, it totally made up for it! Overall, an incredible night. Jelly Roll absolutely killed it!

Ado absolutely impressed us all with her INCREDIBLE and OUTSTANDING vocals for the first time ever in Melbourne!! Such sweet little speeches in between about her dreams and what the Hibana tour means to her... and how cold and rainy it was here... (glad she loves winter though - what a relief!!) I will 100% go again if she goes on tour to Melbourne again!! I already miss her so so much!! アドちゃん大好き！また来てね！

The Veronicas were so good and kept us well entertained until Cyndi took to the stage and took command, it was time to take us through her truth her way, and what a lot of chapters there were meticulously linked with Cyndi's life and that of those around her all woven together to where the next part of that chapter could only be a song. When Tones and I materialised and meekly crept toward Cyndi for a beautiful surprise duet of 'Time after Time' we were sorry to see her go. We were sorriest after the encores and we had to go. The best books need more chapters, we'll stay on the edge of our seats - there can always be another chapter. #Girls just wanna have fundamental rights✊#RESPECT

Amazing! I am so glad I went. I knew it would be a great night. Thank you so much Crowded House for putting on such a great performance. It was like listening to a live CD, Neil Finn has written some of the most beautiful and memorable songs, his voice is just amazing. Nick Seymour is fabulous too. Neil’s sons are incredibly talented, clearly the musical talent runs in the family. Thanks again Crowded House. Enjoy the rest of your tour.

The event run smoothly and on time, supporting acts and main artist were good and engaging, but for Dean Lewis, the drums were set A LOT louder than everything else and drained his voice and the other instruments. It took away from the experience quite a lot. There was a violinist in the show that you couldn't hear AT ALL, she literally could have been "fake playing" and would have been the same. The reverberation of every drum hit was felt in the throat and chest in an unpleasant way (and this is coming from someone who loves a deep bass!) and you simply couldn't enjoy the songs. The best and most enjoyable one was an acoustic song just with piano and violin for this reason. I would understand this setting for another type of artist (say Red Hot Chili Peppers), but not for someone like Dean Lewis. I think this is an easy to fix tech issue. Backstreet Boys sounded incredible at Rod Laver, for example.

Kip Moore was absolutely awesome. His interaction with the crowd was amazing. His choice of songs were just right. The way he got all his support artists up on stage together was awesome. Also the way he thanked them was fantastic. Holding the Australian flag at the end was great. Would go to a million more of Kip Moore shows. Felt like part of the executive crew who were invited along for the night. Awesome job again Kip Moore- regards, Julie Jenner

Awesome stage and light show, great to sing along with the old maiden chants, the guitar work was brilliant, everything was on point. Definitely would see them again. There was no Eddie, but a tall alien dude came out on ‘somewhere in time’ and a cowboy type small Eddie on another song. Maiden are one of the most professional, eliciting bands out there, still going strong and rocking out like a beast

This was an amazing show. Loved every minute. It was the first time I was ever up at the front of the stage. Loved the Goo Goo Dolls. They were amazing too. Definitely going to see Matchbox 20 again. I don't care where it is. I am going to travel anywhere to see them. I hope the GOO GOO Dolls come back to Australia and do a concert tour. I only wish I could have got a meet and greet. I was waiting for 20mins before I could get on to get a ticket, very disappointed. I just hope that I get my VIP package in the mail. It would have been good to get this on the night.

After years of waiting, I was finally lucky enough to see Paramore live! They had the best energy with the crowd and they sounded amazing! The mixture of new and old songs was great, with just the right amount of each being played. I couldn’t have asked for a better show! Not to mention, Remi Wolf was a great opener. She had the most strong, powerful voice. Thank you Paramore for an amazing night! Come back soon!

Jimmy Eat World was fantastic!!! To see such an iconic band live was such a dream come true! Their energy with the crowd was amazing and I could not have asked for a better show! The moments that I shared with those around me, and the memories that were created of the band living up to their reputation can never be replaced! Thank you for an awesome night!

Crowded House were brilliant as always. They are the best band to see live. Love the way they interact with the crowd. Rod Laver Arena on the other hand was a huge fail. They sent at least three information emails before hand and that would have been good however all of them gave the start time as 8.50. At 8.20 the announcement came over that the concert was about to start. There was a mad scramble and people were pushing and shoving at the door. We missed most of the first song. At 8.50 loads of people started coming in so obviously they had been misled too. Really poor communication here

Fabulous night! Both the supporting acts were great. Love AB Original and having Phil Jamieson join them on stage was good enough but then Paul Kelly too! Bucket List moment :) Then the Hoods took the stage and it was just a fabulous mix of all their best songs. High energy performance, breath taking light show and effects and great crowd interaction. Loved every minute of the show. The encore of Rattling Keys was a highlight but bringing Elsey Wamayo and AB Original out for the final song was the ultimate ending. Love the Hoods

I was 21 when soul deep came out. After previous cold chisel and jimmy Barnes music I have to admit it wasn’t my favourite album that came out ( still purchased it though because I had every other ) When tickets went on sale I knew I was going anyway as I haven’t missed a concert. Saturday night has given me a whole new love for this music. You never disappoint jimmy!

Wow what an amazing performance by Amy Shark. I didn’t think it was possible but she has become an even more awesome singer and her stage presence is awe inspiring. She sang songs from her new album but didn’t forget about her older songs. The way she interacted with the crowd was first class. I can’t wait for her to come back again.
