The 8x10

I've run out of superlatives for Cris's shows. He excels in so many genres (bluegrass, blues/rock guitar) but this funk/soul show may have topped them all. As with other shows billed as Cris Jacobs & Friends he gives those friends the spotlight generously, this time with George Porter Jr of the legendary Meters on bass and vocals, Steve Kimock on guitar, Ivan Neville on keys and vocals, Jennifer Hartswick on trumpet and vocals and John Kimock on drums. They got into a groove as if they played together every night. If this was recorded it should be released for all to hear. BTW this was the 8x10 Revival concert and the venue has been spiffed up but still has it's classic feel. Be sure to check it out.

More than 35 years on they still kick a*s.

Wax and Herbal T’s performance was pure 🎤🔥🫶 Always great to see them come back to their home region!

Chalk Dinosaur has gone shoegaze. Great group that's lost it's focus. The opening act was better. We found seats at the bar, and that made the evening super special Bar service was excellent Love the 8x10

The most talented band I’ve ever seen live - they were absolutely amazing!

Flipping awesome show! So much energy and fun had by all!

Love this band! Such talent!

I unfortunately still have financial burdens. I will however be catching him the next go around . Great music

Guavatron was absolutely amazing! Can’t wait to see them again!

Straight lightning from his hands for 2 hours! So grateful he's still willing to play a small room like this.

KingFish is amazing, one of my favorite artist!

It was awesome. They have a lot of energy and a good vibe.

Great band! And enjoyed seeing them in such an intimate setting. I'm certain our days are numbered and this will not happen again. I see them filling bigger venues more and more. They are a great Americana, country, high energy band.

It was my second time seeing Hotel Fiction and they were amazing! If you have a chance to see them please make an effort to do so. You don't wanna miss out on a chance to see them before they blow up 🔥🫶

What a magical evening with Caroline!!! How special to be with her in such an intimate setting, making it feel like a very private concert but watching her incredible energy, off the chart talent and natural beauty on top of all that!! And, at the end of the night, have her sign merchandise, and have the opportunity to have pictures taken with her AND get hugs from someone well on her way to major stardom!!! ❤️❤️❤️ And, the 8 x 10 club in Baltimore is such a cool place!! Abigail and Brian, the owners, are pure gems!!! Just a special night!!

Absolutely awesome and rockin, great band and responsive crowd.

It was just a show, it was a performance! Great crowd interaction from both of the bands

Best show I’ve seen all year.

Helluva good show, brotha. Swing back thru again soon! 🎶🤘😎🎶
