Still cannot believe I saw them play Moon Safari! There were people talking loudly behind me the entire show, which was super annoying. I wish the venue staff had told them to be quiet, but that’s a venue issue and has nothing to do with the band. The show was ASTOUNDING.
The concert was good, but the several young females were singing together their longs out and we could not hear Calum. Some people near us left because of it and also we had Theatre workers come and ask them but they did not quit doing so, wish they had them taken out the audience. We paid to hear Calum not their singing.
Fantastic! I've loved Dane Cook for a LONG time and always wanted to see him live! He was soooo FUNNY! He's a great actor too. Loved him in Mr. Brooks! The venue was superb as well as his opening comedians. I'm so glad I got to see him. He's one of the best!!!
Peter Frampton takes you on a wonderful trip down memory lane with this show. Despite his physical limitation, he’s still playing guitar with the same level of skill and his voice sounds the same as before. He engaged the audience and clearly was grateful to still be able to perform and had a great time doing it. Photos and movies from years ago are played on the screen behind him. The playlist includes his must plays and some deeper cuts, as well as encores from his Humble Pie days. We loved the show.
Benatar is wonderful and was on point last tour as well! Opening act has good musicianship and talented lead singer but songs are totally absolutely flat…quite disappointing…they need some songwriting help for sure, enlist Warren or Perry. Benatar should just play one hour 45 herself, it takes a lot of effort and moolah to get to a show….we deserve the best!
I came across Jon Batiste in 2023. Immediately felt attracted to his music, his sound, his uniqueness, his joy, his enthusiasm, his love for his wife, their stories. Words cannot express how happy and grateful I am to have been able to attend my first Jon Batiste concert. My partner and I enjoyed it Immensely. It was beyond amazing. Thank you so much for sharing your gift and talent with us. You and and you wife are a real blessing. May God bless you with continued health, creativity, joy and peace.
Jon Batiste is a talented musician. His concert appearance however is almost manic. Too much audience participation. I wanted to hear Jon not the incredibly bad voice of the person next to me. Some touching moments but pretty gimmicky also. All that being said I give him a solid B
I am an avid fan and was so excited to see Randy Rainbow at the Beacon Theatre, but sadly, I didn't get to the show. NJ Transit had problems and instead of a 45-minute train ride to Penn Station, I was on the train for 2 1/2 hours arriving at Penn Station at 8:pm! I decided to turn around and go home to NJ, but no trains were running so I took the PATH to Hoboken and a 40-minute LYFT ride home. I hope to see Randy Rainbow in a futre show. I gave 5 stars because I know I would have loved it - oh well.
I enjoyed the Symphony of Dance very much. The dancing was amazing. Dereck Hough is so talented on many levels . The other dancers were also extremely talented and they all performed so well together and individually. Dereck is great but it was nice to see the cast dancers display their talents. Good of them to showcase them as well as his wife.
My only complaint is that the music was way too loud. We sat in Loge 4 in the last row and that was great but maybe the sound was concentrated because of the low ceiling. My ears were ringing! All in all, though, I loved it!
They were great! Harmonies and music always fab. It was very cute how they took requests from their calls/posts. BUT....someone needed to do a better sound check. A lot of the time the music production, especially the drums, WAY overpowered their voices and you couldn't get the full effect and enjoyment.
Great concert! The warmed up the audience with an A/V montage of a DJ set, followed by KC and the Sunshine Band. But the main event was amazing! The band was tight and the vocals were perfect. The presentation was studio quality and they engendered high energy from the sold out crowd. Lots of dancing at the seats and a threee song encore, ending with Rock Lobster. Perfect!
The most sentimental journey I’ve taken in awhile! The first half of the show consisted of many songs I didn’t know but….it was fkn Marc singing before my very eyes (had great seats btw) How befitting that we should be in a theater on Broadway in NYC where it didn’t matter whether I knew them or not. Soft Cell music has always been theatrical in my head. The lighting and visuals adding to that Broadway effect.
Then came the second half where I knew every song as did everyone also apparently and the sing along was on. One after another I relived an awesome 40 years of creativity and talent
Sad Dave couldn’t join but my hat is off to Philip and the entire band for an amazing time that I will never forget! This was my first time seeing them and per Marc my last 😞
Shout out to the guest performers!!!
Amos Lee puts on a great show! His voice is sublime and he has great stage presence ~ funny and charming, and connecting easily with the audience and warmly with his talented band. Jensen McRae, his opening act at The Beacon Theater in NYC was fabulous ~ what a powerhouse voice! Two thumbs way up for all of these talented singer-songwriters!
Steve Hackett is the number one progressive rock show on tour. He is at the top of his game. His band is extremely talented and they reproduce early Genesis. I’ve seen them many times and I always walk out, at the end of the concert, feeling uplifted, with a smile on my face. If you get the chance, you should see him. Ticket prices are always very fair.
The band was incredible, unsurprisingly but the Beacon struggled with very loud rock concerts. Both for this one and my last rock show here, Gary Clark Jr., the instruments tend to drown each other out, and when one of the sounds I'm struggling to hear is Slash's guitar, that's an issue. Performance was amazing, the sound mixing just needs some work at this venue.
The show was pretty good. Not the best I have seen them perform but that was mainly due to the sound quality. I was in upper balcony and at times the sound was very distored and you could not hear Myle's voice clearly. It was great to hear their new songs. I really like hearing Myles and Slash do acoustic stuff and it would be nice if they worked that into the show too. Surprised that no GNR songs were done (but I guess since they are touring it's not needed for the fans). Slash as always was great!! Nice to have live music back!! Hope to see them again. Definitely a great night out.
Loved it! Paul Janeway has a phenomenal voice. The energy and the music was an out of body experience. Sooo good! The visit to the Loge and Balcony a beautiful touch.
One issue I had was the center small screen with the neon around it. It has truly annoying. Felt myself looking at it , was a distraction . It’s was in the way of the big screen, images were like an after thought that was not placed correctly. Ditch it.
Now on to the future , Can’t wait to see them again in Asbury Park this summer!! With capes ?

Great show, terrific energy and sound.
VIP experience was Blah. Not personal at all, very rushed. Hardly had a second to say hi before being turned to be photographed and ushered out door. Band members were not really engaged and seamed kinda annoyed to have to do the photo. Cool VIP swag but nothing was autographed and no autographs permitted. I get it, everyone is busy but if you are not excited and engaged in meeting your fans don’t hold the VIP program.
I know these guys are incredible but the show being an album anniversary tour seemed to be cut short or something. The set ran at least 1hour 15mins. Regular shows sets run about or more than that amount of time. Doesn't really matter they deserve much respect for geniune talent & longevity. Amazingly original as well. Keep it up guys!! 💕💞💕
