It was an amazing show! Lots of energy and you could tell the band was having a great time.
Some new songs and many of their previous hits.
Hope they come back to the area soon. I will be there!
Thanks Tommy and the Painkillers!
Quinn continues to grow into one of the greatest blues guitarists ever. I've been following him since he opened for Buddy Guy when he was a mere 9 years old. His skill level is now reminiscent of Eric Clapton. His songs and renditions reflect his maturity. His searing guitar playing reaches deep into my soul. It's electrifying!~. I look to see where he performs and readily travel long distances to see him.
The Coach House is an intimate venue with much history and soul gracing its hallowed hall. I saw Quinn open for Buddy Guy here and have attended many great concerts here.
This particular show will stay with me for a long time.
The Pablo Cruise concert at the Coach House was outstanding as always. I had a seat right by the stage and they were all very engaging with the audience. Only my second time seeing them but hopefully won’t be the last. Looking forward to seeing them again. Always a good evening with all the members of Pablo Cruise.
The show was excellent, very entertaining, and at par with world class entertainers. However, I was very upset when COACH HOUSE forced me and wife a drink minimum of 2 drinks per person. I paid to see a concert and it should be my choice to order drinks if I want to. This was a SCUM BAG move on the part of COACH HOUSE and really spoiled the mood. I can afford to pay for anything. In fact the only reason I did not drink is because I am a wine connoisseur and only drink things that I select and do not drink beer and house wine. However, I do not like being taken advantage of. BENISE was great but COACH HOUSE is like a cheap Tijuana Bar scamming patrons.
They were great. RUSH music was great as was their original, new music. They were very modest regarding new music. It was fantastic and if they really didnt pratice it much, in person, it didnt sound it. They had great eneegy working together.
Great show! Kevin and Michael are both so talented and humorous! Very engaging with the audience as well.
Had never listened to any of their music before and couldn’t have been happier that I went to the show.
Coach House is such a great, historic venue!
Howie is one of the most innovative and engaging artists out there. His lyrics, sound, voice and personality kept the audience captivated and entertained throughout. He has to be one of the most talented solo acts I have ever seen. Alone he fills the room with sound and energy that would typically take an ensemble to create. Do yourself a favor. Go see him!
First time at this venue, kind of a bucket lister for me. Really great show. Walter told some stories about moving to Huntington Beach from New Jersey and partying heavily and loving Orange County. The bassist, John Avila, was cool, Sammy's brother. He brought out Sammy and a nephew for a couple of songs near the end. He also had a young guitar prodigy he called the future of the blues playing. Wished the crowd would have stood more but it was a dinner concert and most the "old blues folks" stayed in their seats till Walter told them to get off their asses near the end.
Pable Cruise was excellent!
I know you have a formula that works for your venue, however, we sat at the end of the aisle, and once we turned our chairs for the concert, we had to constantly move for the wait staff, guests. You definitely need ore room between the main aisles. Very annoying.
Food was good but did not match price point. Should we return, will know what to expect.
We thought we were going to a Hawaiian music concert. My husband was stationed on Oahu in the Navy in the early 70's, and really enjoyed the music of the Beamer Brothers, one of whom was named Kapono. But, this was not him...lol! This concert was Henry Kapono and friends. So we just went with the flow. Henry Kapono and Alex Kawakami were more of a Loggins & Messina woven with the flavor and playful feel of Hawaii. Both are excellent guitarists. One feels transported to the Islands, back in a time with less hustle and bustle, with Henry's sweet stories growing up on the island of Oahu. It's easy to fall in love with his "Aloha" spirit, and find yourself joining in the sing-along choruses with the hall filled with his fan/friends/"family."
First time attending a John Cruz concert at The Coach House San Juan Capistrano opened by Honolulu-based Acoustic-Folk-Rock Artist Johnny Helm. Amazing! So much emotion goes into Cruz' music. He talks story to his audience, adds comedy into the mix & excellent crowd interaction. A Truly Great Showman! His brother Tony Cruz and Blayne Asing also played in the band. What a Night!
Johnny has stood the test of time and continues to deliver a great show. As we get older, we evolve, hopefully gain some wisdom and grow as people. Last night’s show proved that John has done all those things and maintained a light-hearted sense of humor. Loved the show. Left with a smile, and I’m still smiling the next day.
So fun! This is our second time seeing the Crew and they do not disappoint. They put on a great show, with great energy. Played for well over two hours and were going just as strong for the encore as the opening song.
Seating and service at the Coach House were both great. Our server kept the drinks and food on point. We had a great evening. Can't wait for the Crew to come back!
Pablo Cruise was awesome last night please come back to The Coach House in San Juan Capistrano every year. The fans loved you last night here! Great musicians and artists and great comedy show by all, lots of laughs along with some “wow!” Moments! Fans forever!
It was phenomenal!! I honestly have no words to fully describe it! "Old school" fun! I was able to attend the meet and greet, dinner and the show! Then another opportunity to meet the band and hang out!! Great people and amazing talent! Thank you JR and Wes for the awesome photo ops and everyone that made it happen! Randy...Aloha!! Mary you rock!! Great time!!! I have a ton of pics...it will only let me pick one! 🤙🌴
Great Show!! Hadn’t seen him since the mid 90’s and he definitely didn’t disappoint. Loved his Band and they really rocked out on the harder solo & Dishwalla cuts.
GREAT venue!! First time there and was really impressed with the whole set-up. Will definitely be going back.
The opener, Bela White, was excellent. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J9RxDoSORto Molly, and her dream band, Golden Highway, were outstanding! Bella played mostly originals and I think one cover song if I remember correctly. Golden Highway played mostly originals and 3-4 covers (?) including at least three songs from their new album Crooked Tree, which is currently on sale prior to its April 1st 2022 release. I got my copy along with two songs in advance from that album, the title track, Crooked Tree, and She'll Change. you can listen to these songs on YouTube and most streaming services right now. There are two versions of Crooked Tree available for your listening pleasure, and both are great. The version filmed in Nashville https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9x4rCPWtsRM features all the members of Golden Highway, who all performed at the Coach House show. All top-pros with hot n’ tasty licks: Dominick Leslie on manodolin, banjoist Kyle Tuttle, fiddle player Bronwyn Keith-Hynes, and bassist Shelby Means. Bela joined the band for a version of Neil Young’s Helpless which was also a treat. The food was good, the service was okay at our table, coming with a free side of attitude. If Molly starts picking that guitar any faster the front row will need fire extinguishers!
Raul Malo never disappoints, whether as front man for The Mavericks or at his more intimate solo shows. His voice is beyond compare, not to mention his humor and audience interaction. I have and will continue to travel to his shows at favorite and "bucket list" venues, and support him and the band as long as they're playing. Pure joy from beginning to end!
Michael Tomlinson gave a beautiful performance covering 30 years of music. He is relaxed and relatable. Michael creates a level of intimacy rarely seen in live performances. His music, lyrics and voice are soothing and uplifting and pure joy! For anyone who hasn’t seen him live, you’re in for a
unique soul-Full experience.
Keeping us waiting 45 minutes before John went on stage took away from the evening ...
Respecting the audience is a good thing even if you are a rock star!
The concert was awesome once we all got into it...
The Coach House is a great venue...I will be back!
