Would have liked them to play their most popular song (ANIMAL). I wasn't expecting it but would have made the show a 5 star in my book. Didn't even do an encore. I would think with the high fan turn out and them canceling the show last time around here, they would treat us to an extra song or two. No part the bands fault, but there were 2 different posted times the doors would open 6pm and 7pm...... we'll it ended up being 7pm and everyone was standing outside in the 40° temperature for over an hour. Boohoo, but that started the night off on the wrong foot. Anyway, I
I got to see W.A.S.P. and it's pretty much a bucket list show for everyone.
The depot was a great venue. Awesome staff. Had the time of our lives. GWAR was epic as always. Squid Pisser was a breath of fresh air😂😂😂😂🤘🤘🤘🤘. Really wasn’t expecting to like them but they put on a hell of a show. And the drummer….. unholy cow. Bad ass!
Dark Funeral was amazing. Someone had obviously been hiding them from me for 30 years. Where the actual fuck have you guys been??? Definitely be doing a vip with them next time. And can’t wait.
All around best shows I’ve seen in years. Can’t wait to do it again.
Rock on🤘
Absolute legend. I wish he believed in his own abilities enough to stop with the infernal strobe lighting. It was brighter than the noon sun and it was out for my corneas. Frank was drenched with sweat a couple of songs in, and I guarantee the artist and the pumped up audience would have enjoyed the show so much more without those crazy flashing strobes. The other artists in the lineup did not suffer from this sweaty, retina melting malady, so I hope you can understand your discomfort was over shared and completely self imposed.
Do better, Frank. You may be undefeated, but I was - by those glaring strobe lights! The music shines through enough on its own.
Fantastic show! This band is spectacular together and as individual parts. They are so fucking talented. They sound better in person - huge sound and incredible energy. If you like their songs in your car, you'll be blown away at their show. Their personalities are just as big between songs. I love them so much! I wish they were the headliners, so they had more time to perform in the show.
Great show. Perfect setlist. Cool mix of old hits and newer style. I loved the Mad Max guitarists. The sound guy in the mixing booth really needed to turn down the keys/synth, though. There were times where you couldn't hear the guitars or even vocals. It might have been the house guy / the venue's fault, but it was disappointing. And the drummer had a few Joe Biden moments that weren't super noticeable but threw off the beat of a song sometimes. Cars sounded off because of him. Gary was great.
Is this review for the band or the venue? The band is top notch even though it's now only two people and most of the music is pre-recorded that they play on stage but it's still Crosses.
The Depot needs to get their act together. They had a fire alarm going off on the east side of the stage the entire show and they also had a door open over there and it's winter and some people were pretty cold. They also need to serve alcohol on the same level as the stage.
I was apsolutly so very happy to finally not only get to see aqua perform but actually getting to meet them in person was well over the top. There music has helped me in so many ways. And they are just the sweetest ❣️ I also got a hug from each of them my night was definitely rewarding experience. I also went by myself and still had just an amazing time. Thank you so much Aqua for all that you do an for coming to the states especially Utah. New Memories I will cherish forever.💗💗
Wow! What can I say. To start off, I'm not the typical SR&TF fan. I'm 61 years old, and my girlfriend and I are way above the average age of the rest of the crowd. I'm a recent devotee, having discovered them just a few months ago thanks to one of my Spotify channels. With that out of the way, this was the best concert I've been to this year, and that includes about 20 concerts. I just love the positivity and inclusivity. It was such a great experience, one that I hope to repeat very soon!
I had a really good time. Electric Callboy was absolutely amazing. Definitely earned the five stars. Although it is my opinion that the crowd and fans for the other two bands did not belong at a show this heavy which is pretty hilarious considering that this show wasn't very heavy when it comes to metal. As far as the audience goes I've never met a larger group of whiney snow flakes taking the environment personally. It's truly a sad day when security needs to get involved, remind people that they made a choice to hit a metal show and that if they can't handle it they need to leave.
This concert was so intimate! I very much enjoyed watching her perform live most of my favorite songs. I couldn't believe this show was sold out and this was her first headline tour in Salt Lake City! I'm sonhappy I didn't miss it 💛
This was the first time I heard the openers, Thuy, music and her energy was amazing! I definitely git hooked on one of her toxic era joints lol
It was sad that their bus had issues the day prior making them late to the show. But honestly that made for one of the most intimate and incredible experiences we will ever get to witness. Rory being a real OG And performing the ever so rare Dayseeker Unplugged set was absolutely mind blowing! By far one of the most talented individuals in music right now!! Thank you so much for that experience and we cant wait for you guys to come back to the area again!!
This was the best concert I have ever been to!! Doll skin is absolutely amazing, and all their new members like Wes fit in perfectly with the Doll skin band. They are entertaining have beautiful vocals/instrumentals and have a great lineup of songs. Also, they are some of the nicest people you will ever meet! I seriously can't complain except for the fact I can't see them again any time soon!
Opener was so fun & Benee is the cutest human! Overall such a great concert. The people were cool too, minus a girl that was pushing me that argued that she was just “standing there”. Anyways it was super cool & Dreamer Boy & Benee know how to put on a show!! I went with my sibling KC and they were able to give Benee a drawing of her that they made & that was super cool!
It was awesome to see my favorite band in such a small venue! Lots of rules there but worthwhile. The VIP experience was also worth it. We drove 5 hours and the band brought all their energy, even after almost not making the gig due to a snowstorm in Wyoming. It's been 2 years since I've been in the pit and supported crowd surfers! Totally a blast!!
great show. larger venue would be appropriate for future shows. completely full. crowd was PUMPED for the show.
regarding the depot itself - price for beverages was too high. bar area should be available to ALL showgoers. charging an ADDITIONAL FEE?! for using a table reads like extortion and squeezing patrons for more money. The Depot can do better than that by following the advice offered. staff was professional, personable and generally supported a positive experience.
The bands were amazing. The venue management was terrible and disrespectful.
I have had tremendously good experiences in the past at The Depot. However today has been utter trash as we were going to see 'Idkhow but they found me'.
30+ people, including myself were the first group in line and waited 8-10 hours in an average of 32° weather.
Without any effort to communicate, 15 minutes before doors were originally supposed to open, fast pass wrist bands were sold to around 100 people towards the back of the line for $15 each that allowed early entry.
We weren't even offered this last minute promotion.
It felt like a big old "F*** YOU" to all the people that waited in line for 8-10 hours. Every worker at the venue was so dismissive of our questions and frustrations. Very negative experience. Terrible management and staff was rude and no help.
i’ve only ever been to a few concerts in my lifetime so this might be pretty biased, but this actually was one of the best nights of my life. i honestly get super nostalgic now whenever i listen to each of the bands music that was played that night, wishing i could back a million times over to experience it all again. i also happen to really like the venue they played at in my state, it’s honestly my favorite i’ve been to as well.
BØRNS has been my all time favorite band for a very long time! I was seriously so excited to find out that they were coming. Me and my sister seriously were running around the house and jumping around! Me and my sister, i’m pretty sure, we are seriously the biggest fans ever! That concert was literally the the best thing that ever happened to me and it was the best night of my life!
I wish I could post more than one photo, but this was my very first concert and I was not disappointed. Seriously love this band with every fiber of my being. They put out quality music and they love making it too! You can tell that they do by the energy they bring on stage and the atmosphere just changes. I will be definitely be going to see them in November!
I would love to see a return show, one of the best and top 5 of the year to Salt Lake City area The sound of Gary Numan in the Depot, combined with the closeness will make needing and wanting more.
Thank you for possibly of becoming one of my own personal favorite life experiences I have ever had, leaving goose bumps imbedded in my bones.
Thank you
