The show was all I needed it to be!! Greg and all rocked it! The new drummer was great and amazing how well he did what with all the songs he had to learn. This band and their music means the world to me! Thank you!! PS the venue staff were very friendly and attentive, especially the doorman, Mark.
II randomly stumbled upon Wet back in 2015 and have been obsessed with Wet’s music ever since. I have been to hundreds of concerts in my life and this is one I will forever remember. Kelly's voice is surreal and gave me full body chills over & over again. I SOBBED uncontrollably when she sang 11 Hours. I wish I could tell the entire band how much they mean to me & how their music has been there for me during the hardest moments of my life. I can’t wait to see them live again!
Awesome show! They played the song I requested on their website contact form even though it's not a song they usually play in concert. In fact, I'm not sure they've ever played it in concert before.
Hearing "When it's My Time" in honor of my late cousin Noryce has to be the best concert memory I've ever had or ever will have. Thank you Brent & the Fixins!
Plus they just rocked the place. And the opening band -- Me Like Bees -- was great too!
Absolutely outstanding show! Glitterfox never disappoints. They all came out on stage fully decked out in the best costumes to celebrate Halloween. They went all out on decorating the stage and including guest appearances from friends and other artists (all in costumes as well). They put so much thought and care into the show. Everyone was having so much fun on stage which translated into the audience also having SO much fun! Everyone was smiling and dancing the whole evening.
Their live performance sound is excellent! In some cases, I believe they’re live performances sound better than their studio recordings. I had SO much fun at the show and I can’t wait to see them again live. It is very clear that they love what they do and that comes through in their music and their performance. Thank you, thank you, thank you for putting on such a fabulous show on Halloween! What a fun and memorable evening.
This was my first time at the Aladdin and my first time seeing the Nicotine Dolls. (Having no clue what they looked like, Wic Whitney coming out in a dress made me think for a moment that "dolls" was a trans reference. 😄 )
Starting from the venue itself, I loved the design, and the staff all seemed friendly and helpful. The prices for soda were extremely fair, and the restrooms were clean. With the restroom I used being upstairs, I did not see where someone using a wheelchair might be able to use a restroom, but I will give the venue the benefit of the doubt that it is there somewhere. At the end of the night, they were handing out free pizza, so if I had any complaints, they would have been smoothed over by that for sure. 5/5
Wic Whitney was a powerhouse, and an absolute gem to meet after the show. The story telling between songs was endearing and entertaining, with vocals that gave me the good chills in almost every song. I will for sure be making sure to see WW perform again in the future! 5/5
Nicotine Dolls was the initial draw of the night, with Sam's voice alone being worth the price of admission. The honesty and humor concerning the encore had everyone laughing, and the magic of everyone experiencing something together permeated the entire venue. 5/5
I had to close like 20 ads to be able to type this up so the survey itself gets a 2/5.
aladdin was cool asf, lots of seating but still enough room for a crowd to stand. the bar was more professional than usual and there was a tv to see the stage so you didn’t have to guess which was super nice. one downside was not a lot of bass unless you’re in the balcony. the quadeca himself was fantastic, i wish he talked to the crowd a bit more but i also understand he had a set. i’ll miss him til next time fs
Packed with respectful, enthusiastic uber fans , cool venue and seeing the band was a dream come true. I loved hearing the stories in between songs, the camaraderie on stage, they were in top form sound wise and seemed to be having as much fun as we were. AND they demolished a microwave with a baseball bat
Once again, Storm gave a powerhouse performance for the times!! Amazing guests, including China Forbes, Holcomb Waller and Julianne Johnson!! Not a wasted moment in the three hours we spent in the magic of Ordeal. She’s just what is needed to get through this next phase. Keep on rockin’ Storm ❤️💥🥳 Yes, Santa Claus 🎅🏻 is real!
The venue was fine. Will Wood spent most of the show telling a depressing story about himself. I get what he was going for, and it worked well for the most part, but if you're the kind of person who wants to see Will Wood for his music or to have a good time, don't go to his shows; you will get sad.
What a fun night! Even if his jokes are new, and (in Adam's words), "a bit rusty," I laughed harder than I have at other, bigger shows. It was interesting and fun to hear his takes on dating, even if I think many were expecting to hear things more like "Adam Ruins Everything," and his other stand up shows in the past.
A DELIGHT! There is no better way to see a combo of top-tier musicians playing swing, bebop, ska and rock, and the format is a delight even if you've never seen the series that inspired the music. The bandleader is sincerely excited to carry the show, and all the musicians are into it and happy to meet audience members afterwards.
Outstanding performance. I hated the fact that the Alladin Theater in Portland allowed standing room in front completely hiding the view of everyone in the front 4 rows. I attended the VIP event which was wonderful. Molly is a warm, down to earth person. BTW, I sat in the 5th row knowing that the standing room would block the front rows even though I had the choice of front row.
Truly enjoyable evening! Staff was friendly and beers were only $8!!! Good sound and a very positive vibe throughout. Dave Alvan and Jimmy Dale Gilmore were fantastic. Dave's guitar wizardry was on full display and the whole band was super tight. I can't remember her name, but the young female drummer was stellar. Photo was from stage change after the opener - a duo who also did a great job.
Amazing show. I had never seen him live before and was completely blown away by the clear, unique energy of his presence. Incredible. Usually I am ready to be done at the end of a night of music. But I could have stayed for another hour easily.
Also fell in love with Glitterbox!
Was absolute 🔥… Folks, it’s time to get out & support live 🎶 if ya can. Ace was incredible with his new backing band. The Aladdin is an historic venue. Ace typically sells out fast. Hopeful we start filling & supporting our local venues again.
The setlist was incredible: 10 Kiss Klassics. The Aladdin Theater 🍕 is priced right & perfect. Great night!
We had a great time! Margo Cilker and her family band were a polished act. Songs and sound were first rate.
Hayes and band were tight and capable of switching seamlessly from softer acoustic to louder rockabilly. Hayes was a lot of fun with funny stories between his witty songs. More one liners than a comedy show. Thanks for the fun evening. Glad you are back on the road!
Openers were great, James the eighth and Erik Krasno couldn’t have been better. Son little just seemed on edge and like he didn’t want to be there. Sort of changed the vibe of the concert. He also took almost an hour to come on stage after the second opener. I would definitely go see Erik Krasno, but I would probably avoid seeing son little again.
Walter is without a doubt, one of the best guitarist in the field. His band is pretty damn good as well. My only complaints are the sound was poorly mixed in the venue and I was expecting a blues show with some rock, not a loud rock show with a little bit of blues.
