A DELIGHT! There is no better way to see a combo of top-tier musicians playing swing, bebop, ska and rock, and the format is a delight even if you've never seen the series that inspired the music. The bandleader is sincerely excited to carry the show, and all the musicians are into it and happy to meet audience members afterwards.
Nicotine Dolls were incredible!! Their opening act Georgia Parker was fantastic! The venue and staff were so nice. Only complaint was not kicking the ridiculously drunk woman out way earlier—she was beyond obnoxious and was affecting the show.
Everyone had a great time seeing Randy feltface last night. I could not understand a word the performer had said because of not hiring an asl interpreter beforehand. My fault. Thought my new cochlear implant could help it didn't.
Outstanding performance. I hated the fact that the Alladin Theater in Portland allowed standing room in front completely hiding the view of everyone in the front 4 rows. I attended the VIP event which was wonderful. Molly is a warm, down to earth person. BTW, I sat in the 5th row knowing that the standing room would block the front rows even though I had the choice of front row.
For having a bum foot, from a crocodile bite, she still put on a great show wearing her boot. We never did get the real story, but the crocodile bite was pure gold. Great performance, with a great band, at a historic venue. Loved it!
Truly enjoyable evening! Staff was friendly and beers were only $8!!! Good sound and a very positive vibe throughout. Dave Alvan and Jimmy Dale Gilmore were fantastic. Dave's guitar wizardry was on full display and the whole band was super tight. I can't remember her name, but the young female drummer was stellar. Photo was from stage change after the opener - a duo who also did a great job.
The concert was perfect. Benson was so talented and beautiful, an excellent performer, artist and entertainer. He was very interactive with the audience and gave us the best show. Afterward we were able to catch him exiting and take photos.
First time seeing a concert at the Aladdin. And first time seeing BJL as a 3-piece band. Sound was awesome. Band was great. Had solid Hendrix/Band of Gypsys vibes. Did miss a little fuller sound on a few songs, but enjoyed every minute of them otherwise.
Amazing show. I had never seen him live before and was completely blown away by the clear, unique energy of his presence. Incredible. Usually I am ready to be done at the end of a night of music. But I could have stayed for another hour easily.
Also fell in love with Glitterbox!
The artists were fantastic. The sound mixing was atrocious. The vocals were muted. I have seen high school productions with better sound mixing. The instruments were too loud. You couldn't understand what the artist was singing or saying.
this was one of the best shows I've ever been to, and the bands were all amazing. there was moshing, crowd surfing, and unfortunately a fight that broke out (during the song "fight me") wish I could go back
I felt like I was on psychedelic opiates.
They transported me places.
Multiple times.
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Amazing show and vibe with a very engaged crowd. Aside from outstanding vocals and aThey are funny and interactive, and the opener Lera Lynn was just as amazing.
Great to see them in Portland again!
Was absolute 🔥… Folks, it’s time to get out & support live 🎶 if ya can. Ace was incredible with his new backing band. The Aladdin is an historic venue. Ace typically sells out fast. Hopeful we start filling & supporting our local venues again.
The setlist was incredible: 10 Kiss Klassics. The Aladdin Theater 🍕 is priced right & perfect. Great night!
We had a great time! Margo Cilker and her family band were a polished act. Songs and sound were first rate.
Hayes and band were tight and capable of switching seamlessly from softer acoustic to louder rockabilly. Hayes was a lot of fun with funny stories between his witty songs. More one liners than a comedy show. Thanks for the fun evening. Glad you are back on the road!
Openers were great, James the eighth and Erik Krasno couldn’t have been better. Son little just seemed on edge and like he didn’t want to be there. Sort of changed the vibe of the concert. He also took almost an hour to come on stage after the second opener. I would definitely go see Erik Krasno, but I would probably avoid seeing son little again.
Best live performance of my life and I’ve seen many. Luther flat rips, he not only asks the questions but provides clear answers. Cody solo during break was legendary. Look forward to seeing you fellas on your home turf.
Walter is without a doubt, one of the best guitarist in the field. His band is pretty damn good as well. My only complaints are the sound was poorly mixed in the venue and I was expecting a blues show with some rock, not a loud rock show with a little bit of blues.
I've been waiting to see Summer Salt for years and they didn't disappoint. GREAT SHOW
I loved how the three bands touring together (Dante Elephante and Motel Radio) supported each other. At the end of the concert they all came out & JAMMED SOOO COOL
Mr perry put on a killer show. Really blessed that he traveled all the way to come performe for us. Bless up. And thanks for trying to tell the venue its messed up they dont let us smoke our herb in doors
