De Helling

Loved the venue! Not too crowded even though it was sold out, with elevated standing space for us short people too. Great coat service at only 2 Euro, band merch tables, and easily accessible bar all nearby to each other. On the downside, I found the ear plugs a bit pricey (at 4E), and the SPL merch was way too expensive. I really wanted to get a shirt, but 55E is just unjustified. All-in-all, a very good experience for my first time at De Helling.

The bands were fun to watch and the songs were cool, but they really need to fire that sound guy. The whole concert sounded like a very loud basement rehearsal.

I had a place upfront, kind of safe from wall of death so I really enjoyed the show. ( Also if the person who caught me when I fell down the steps reads this, you’re a life safer. Seriously I will give you my organs if you need them. )

Gaahl with his band of A N G E R Y people: nice setlist, great atmosphere. Gaahl even interacted with the audience a bit, cool. Would like to see again definitely. 4.5/5.0 because Carving a Giant wasn't played haha

Great sound, nice attitude, good movement. Good balance between slower and faster parts. All in all, well performed.
